Their earnings are even more ridiculous than the performance of their stock. That's how. Pic related. Buy a little. Wait for it to go up. Then hang a trailing stop loss on it at some point -- mine's currently at 30% -- and when your unrealized gains go above that figure, buy a little more. Bear in mind that sooner or later you will have to cash out completely; semiconductors are a commodity just like silver or oil.
>>
>>62408437
Just buy calls, the new leveraged DRAM or MUU

>How the complete fuck did so many of you know MU was going to rebound?
Nothing ever happens and line always go up. We are still early because a lot of people are calling this a bubble while we have reasonable forward P/Es, when those people start saying that even if this a bubble you should still get on it to make money then you sell everything. Almost all companies are saying they are sold out until 2028 and that it will take time to increase production. So the bottleneck should endure until at least another year, you can sell next year if you prefer to mitigate risk.
>>
>>62408442

However I should note even if we get continued volatility and the market retracing, the profitability of Micron and SK Hynix (listing on the nasdaq in 2 months get your butts ready to diversify) means that if it all retraces significantly downwards to, say, 700 dollars a share this will be an extreme buy so help me God.

But since everyone knows this (or has a feeling of this) it is unlikely to happen.

It's all gambling, it either pumps and I make money or it dumps and I buy more. My better instincts tell me it's a bubble but I need snxx to 10x, and sndk's profitability is slowly gaining on micron while being valued at about 1/4th so if micron runs to 2trillion by this time next year, I figure SNDK is going to at least 4x. And a 4x on sndk is a short term 4x on SNXX, then a retrace in august, then a further run to eoy takes SNXX up 11x. It works in my mind. Or I'll just stay poor forever.

100% VT
total global diversification

you are getting a lot of assets that are not in a bubble in that basket

then just continue riding this bubble with VT
every time there's a 10% dip, convert some VT to the more aggressiv stuff of your choice

if there's a -30% or greater correction, go ahead and convert all of VT

if there's a correction when you're holding VT, you'll lose a chunk of your money, but not nearly as much as people that are more concentrated in bubbles

with 100% VT, you're not sitting out of the market. You're catching a lot of the upside, and you're well diversified if there's a correction.

You're not trying to time the market, you're just waiting for better opportunity to convert to more aggressive investments. You're still all in with 100% VT

I'm sorry your ability to profit depends on options. Options trading is lame as fuck in this market where you can easily net 10% daily trading stocks 24/7
>>
Figured this would be a good time to ask with RAM (2x DRAM) releasing tomorrow. What's the deal with leveraged ETFs? I keep hearing they are bad long term holds and only meant for daily swing trades due to "volatility decay", but what is that exactly? My understanding is that in a leveraged ETF everything is 2x. So if have $100 in a stock and it goes up by $2, you would actually be getting $4 profits ($104). And if it dumps by $2, you would have $96. This is just simple additive math right? So as long as the stock "goes up" more than it "goes down", wouldn't you still come out largely ahead?

Thanks for the illustration, Anon.

I guess what was tripping me up was thinking that leveraged ETFs track the raw dollar value instead of the percentage of each movement. I didn't realize that and honestly it's kind of counterintuitive (at least for me). Anyways I was chatting a bit more trying to understand and it led down to futures, which I hear you guys talking about all the time. This is a pretty big rabbit hole (I don't even know options yet) so I'll just stop here.

You can be an incredible trader but if all you have is a couple grand even 500% gains is nothing
Meanwhile a guy with a trust fund from his parents is "making" 6 figures passively without an ounce of stress or even checking.
Money just magically shows up for him.
Once i realized this I legitimately stopped caring.
My auto buys and stuff are still going but stocks aren't the escape rope that I was hoping they'd be.

You can have it both ways. I might do that and try to semi-retire in japan by mid 30s.
>>
>>62408721
That would be a total breakdown into heavily oversold territory and would fuck me over so I expect it to happen.
>>
>>62408978
Better be looking for a Japanese wife. My brother lives in Japan and they don't make it fucking easy
>>
>>62408976

If true then every korean will get 'rich' off of the stocks they hold over the next 4 years, until the bubble pops and turns it into a totally fucked hellhole.

No you don't understand, anon. Your ass can only be there for 6 months a year unless you have a visa or they'll kick you out for good. If you want to live there full time you gotta get a visa, they don't just let any nigger in to mooch like they do in the west

I misjudged your post and now I feel obliged to apologize for the insult.
What you've stated right here, I wholeheartedly agree with.

On a side note: synchronicity really is something.
There is an incredibly high likelihood that you saved the "Iranian couple" picture almost exactly a day ago from this particular post

That post was made by me. I was ID "SZYVRAHK" in that thread.
A thread I just revisited like 15 minutes ago to screenshot several of my 19 posts ITT; with one or two perhaps having the chance of becoming even more documented "billion dollar calls" in my name.

Godspeed, fren.

How much are you up? Options are volatile, theta is your enemy when if the price drops hard, may not recover well as expiry approaches. I bought an ASTS call strike about 85 (stock price was about 75 when I bought it), paid about $1500, expiration was about 3-4 weeks, I forget. About three days after I bought the call price was $5,000, I waited, then it dropped to about $1,100, I waited, then slowly climbed back to about $2,500 and as expiration was approaching and the stock price was climbing the option price was only moving slower and slower so I sold about $$2700. No guarantees, if you up biggly sell and take the money, learn, and prepare to play again, but set your exit price before you buy, and stick to you plan. I should have sold at $5,000 without thinking twice but it came so fast I was surprised. Next time I am ready to sell FAST to lock in the money.

Shit is volatile and can rip +/- 10% in a day on a whim. Nothing wrong with skimming some here and there and dca some further otm calls on the deep red days. I dumped my 70c $11 ITM and dca'd a few 90c the other day when it was -13% or whatever. If you can stomach the volatility though, you can just keep holding. Theta decay really starts to accelerate 30-45dte, so try to sell at least before then.
