Another cargo ship just got blown up in the strait. They can't keep oil down forever.
>it’s true
I slurped some more oil
>we are the oil baggies
you can sell now at 70or at 40 when the Ukraine Russia war endsyour choice
>>62413900Only a matter of time before reality hits the market. The emergency reserves are not infinite and it will take years to repair the damages in the gulf and in Russia.
>>62416450They are actually 1 week away from losing pressure. Iran knows this and is in no rush.
>>62416450This is doomer bullshit.
>>62416764Look up direct quotes from gulf states about the amount of damage and how long it will take to go back to normal production. Even without the destruction, just the fact that they had to halt production means it will take months to reactivate facilities. But who am I kidding, you won't look up shit because you are a stubborn low iq peak dunning kruger ass who won't change his mind anyway.
Oil reserves are the lowest that they have been in ~40 years. Even Sleepy Joe was chewing through reserves to suppress prices and that was without the turmoil in Iran. The reserves have to be replenished. Even if the conflict ends tomorrow without any more turbulence, the damage has already been done. Some people buy a small position in oil as a hedge for their tech investments. If anything, I have a small position in tech as a hedge and most of my money in oil. Everyone will be crying come September and I will be sitting on fat stacks of cash courtesy of black gold while reminding them that I warned them.
Sell those bags when you get the chance, strikes happening now but idk how much more people will care
>>62416450>it will take years to repair the damages in Russia. So far, it has taken Russia less than a week to repair crude export terminals. Crude oil export volumes have not been affected.Refinery damage is harder to see, however it's not nearly as much as the damage in the Gulf, because 50kg warheads simply do not cause much damage
>>62411825The price is the price. It reflects a consensus amongst oil traders who are very sophisticated. Why do you think you possess knowledge that they don't? I think some oil stocks can be a good investment but derivatives on the commodities or ETFs that invest in them are a gamble.
>>62411825The war hasnt ended and the "ceasefire" is fake and gayexpect $160 a barrel
Sure, you have the facts on your side. The bears have every world leader on their side, every industrial titan, trillions of dollars of economic output that all depends on oil staying affordable. You're a fool to challenge their ability to continue denying reality, they'll do whatever it takes to keep the numbers healthy.
>>62418377That is literally what are those people already doing to keep the price under $100. After a certain point though, they won't be able to hold on anymore.
>>62413818>oil barrelies
>>62416450>he thinks the real reserves are openly communicated and updated
>>62421795Educate me about those super secret subterranean 10 dimensional reserves
>>62411825Everytime we have these outsized moves on some random FOTM bullshit e.g GME/BBBY/LUNC/Oil a bunch of you retards develop an emotional attachment to it instead of just trading it and leaving when the attention moves on
>>62423378$150 EOY
>>62411825How do I invest in oil? I've already filled up large metal tank (40 gallons) with oil.
I would like to believe the people saying that there are actual supply issues. After all, there's evidence the oil reserves are running out and there are far fewer ships getting out of the strait. On the other hand I'm a little puzzled at how much the oil price is dropping. Price per barrel is now at pre-war levels, as if nothing has happened (which is definitely not true). It's like the oil commodity trading market is fake and gay, so when the fakest and gayest faggot of them all (Orange King Migger) speaks, they manipulate the price to whatever he wants. How long can this last, or will being fake and gay work out in the end?
>>62428910You need to divorce your 3rd world worshipping 5th columnist world view from your investing strategy. You're more than welcome to worship SneakO and think America is a failed nation running on fumes and that the west will totally fall anyday now but that just isn't a good investing strategy.
>>62429038I don't know who sneako is besides the fact that he lives rent free in your head. Thanks for telling me about that.
>>62411825How did that thread survife a week?
>>62411825You are like the silver baggies saying not selling at $100+
>>62411825Sold my short at that 72,7 dip an hour ago and got a long there instead.
Which oil ETF should I invest into? Tired of tech after finally offloading my MU bags.
>>62431673My preference is ETFs based on oil stocks instead of ones that invest in the commodity. I think XOP is a good one if you think WTI will go up as it's based on the producers.
>>62411825Price... oh and.. chart
>>62433007My USOY bags are printing money and I keep buying into the dip. Only a matter of time before we breach $100 again.
>>62436326Hard to say what the fuck is gonna happen. China still has a lot of reserves to release and... I guess Russia exists at the end of the day? Reality will catch up to them eventually but for now it seems like Trump posting and Vance talking decides the prices.
>>62417947Russia started importing gasoline from Kazakhstan starting yesterday
>>62417947>>62437804And they recently increased Belarus oil imports by a lot

>>62411825>>62417869The conflict ended months ago. How the fuck can you be such a laggard?
