you will live to see a time in the 2050s where some pensioner still bangs on about his crypto holdings (now worth an inflation adjusted -$84,000)
lets all hope that gaylor needs to flip burgers soon

>>62420379I'm thinking about those bees
What in the h*ck? TEM is green, an AI stock. Did people forget to dump it?
Retards like me see that this is likely a great time to get some MSTR. They front ran btc’s high and are probably front running its low.
>>62420368how bad did trump just crash the semi market on Monday?
Would it make sense to buy MSTR at some point? General sentiment on it is extremely negative, but I'm not sure if that would be enough for a meaningful bounce. I've seen the charts of STRC and the other preferreds and know its not going good. I believe Saylor is a parasite on BTC and hope ultimately that both is preferred ponzis and MSTR go to 0, but even the most dogshit stocks and crypto have one deadcat bounce before continuing the path to 0.
>N.I.6/S.M.I.G T.A.R.D. This is not to be construed as investment advice.
>>62420410yes, MSTR is a strong buy if you have any outstanding cap gains you want to eliminate for your 2026 tax filings.
>>62420410If you believe it’s going to bounce and then crash, why not just take out puts and calls? You can unwind strategically while keeping your exposure low.

>>62420412>defensively oriented sectors like Healthcare, Consumer Staples, and Energy drove significant declines healthcare pamped all week, what the fuck is the AI smoking?
>>62420379wtf they just keep coming
>>62420420Yes, that's completely wrong. When I read that I honestly thought it said just the opposite, my bad lmao. In my defense the max sleep I got for any night last week was 5hrs.
>>62420410what does ms actually do now other than run a legacy os that everyone wishes had just stopped development at windows 10 (or windows xp with some ui updates)
>>62420401lmao @ the amateurs here. TEM has been trending down for the last 6 months, it is as undersold as it can possibly get. does that mean its worth buying? absolutely not. you only want to buy AI stocks that are trending up AND green on a bloodbath day.Try looking at ALAB and PENG
So, will we dump or pump on Monday? I feel like it's more dumping time.
>>62420418??????
>>62420435You can Google their revenue stream, which is about 240 billion dollars a year. Windows subscription make up like 5% of that

>>62420435They've beat AWS in growth in cloud services YTD. To be fair, they were coming from behind so they had more room to grow. But they grew like 40% from a not insubstantial position. If capex is any indication of future success, microsoft is second to amazon the last time I looked.
>>62420448two hundred and forty billion dollars and i can't organise my fucking start menu any more? i thought windows 11 was the result of them being impoverished because everyone used a fucking google device. fuming.
>>62420449This is going to become a huge liability for them. A lot of their business model is based on selling licenses per user which was excellent when companies who wanted to scale up in productivity with software licenses would hire more people and have to buy more licenses. The math on that has completely reversed with AI, now companies can (potentially) get more productivity with fewer users.
>>62420445Dump, especially since it's based on nothing this time. Also, if Micron doesn't rebound before Samsung and SK Hynix's ADR listings, we're dead, guys. The P/E ratio for them is even lower.

You can afford to stare at the charts all day to protect against the eventual reversal and exit on time, right?

>>62420458if ai is actually a threat, then theyre fucked because ms office hasnt changed fundamentally in 10+ years.
>>62420474Well, it ultimately doesn't matter as I won't be changing my position, just curious as to what to expect. Would be nice to see some green and rebound.>>62420476Well, it's not like it's uncommon to go leveraged on semis even around here.

Tell me what you think of this ETFhttps://www.morningstar.com/etfs/xnas/fyc/portfolioMy portfolio is 100% QQQ, but I'm thinking of including a litte small cap and mid cap ETFs with it. like>75% QQQ>15% mid cap>10% small cap (FYC)this would be good, wouldn't it?

>>62420521Bro, I didn't say anything about Micron's sustainability or fundamentals. I literally violated the investor code of conduct and FOMO'd in during the Anthropic pump. I would be celebrating the discounts so hard right now had I just waited.
>>62420516It's completely coherentQQQ is a growth index of biggest companiesFYC is growth small capstheoretically, my mid cap ETF would be growth mid caps.It would all come together as broadcap growththat is much more coherent than just throwing SCHD on top of QQQ, which by the way, heavily overlapI asked for advice, but not from someone that knows even less what the fuck they're doing than I do. I'm a retard, but you make me out like a genius.
>Fable banned>Rumors that openAI's "fable tier" AI is also being roadblocked tooI dont get it, shouldnt this be spooking the market more considering how much investment is riding on the assumption/hope that AI tech keeps improving?
>>62420534there's a code of conduct? sheeeeeit
you ever see a nigga type out so many 4chan buzzwords in a sentence and feel bad for them?
>>62420383Hello saar - busy destroying microjeet with muh culture.
>>62420547Why are we banning ai just as its getting good?
>>62420547They'll still let the mega corporations have access to frontier models so they can build their moats. It's just normal people that are going to be cut out from current and future access to frontier models. We'd be insignificant compared to the amount corporations will spend on AI.It's still bullish. It also crushes OpenAI, which is the main competitor to Anthropic, unless they can manage to pivot to commercial AI like Anthropic. It makes complete sense hat Anthropic is doing. They're trying to get their competition shut down.
>>62420547Dread to think of the monster dumps and pumps on certain versions of Anthropic getting banned when it becomes public
AI and semis are one and the same, and if ai pumps the market pumps with it (except oil). My condolences to anyone with soxs calls
i want to use claude but i find his name dumb and unreassuringly french
>new technology develops>scammers and businessmen hop on it as quick as possible to make as much money as they can from it>public perception of technology becomes irrevocably intertwined with scams and desperate money making schemes>technology never advances beyond these things as a resultIs this just how new technologies are now? It happened with crypto, with VR and metaverses, with NFTs, and you can see it happening with AI now.
>>62420545>It's completely coherentyou're needlessly trying to diversify into a ticker that has high correlation with QQQ, same beta, and has inferior CAGR. it's literally the same shit with less returns. and what's the upside? exposure to small caps? i'm willing to hear your case for wanting smallcaps exposure in your folio, genuinely speaking. but from my pov this is a bad move.
>>62420563Consumer revenue for Anthropic is a small part of their business. Their bread and butter is selling API usage to other corporations. There's definitely going to be exemptions to make sure corporations get access to frontier models. It's very bullish for Anthropic. Also, Anthropic doesn't have the compute to serve all their customers. This stalls, and buys them time.Anthropic is fucking over the other frontier labs, though. This definitely is like a kick to the balls to OpenAI. The government recently put a hold on GPT 4.6 as well a couple days ago
>>62420571>crypto, with VR and metaverses, with NFTsthese were all scams and/or digital charters for perverts, wronguns and those with a 1970s broadcast media disposition.see also all web2 social media.
>>62420410buying mstx when btc is around whatever it's current bottom is is a great buy
>>62420458It’s even worse than that.AI can just build an office software program to order for any individual or buisness. If you needed say, a spreadsheet program with just this one little specific feature, it’ll be able to do that.Meanwhile MS has to spend R&D and add clunkiness to make the program able serve ALL potential customers out of the box. AI just codes up what you need when you need it. And it’ll cook up speciality solutions unique to you when you ask.A complete asymmetric disadvantage. It’s like investing in Mcdonalds when everyone is about to get a personal chef downloaded to their homes and businesses. And that’s assuming you still need to use the officeware at that point, instead of just going “AI turn this rough draft into a powerpoint presentation” and be done with it.
>>62420574FYC is small cap onlythere's not a single small cap in QQQevery ticker in all these funds are completely different companiesthere are historical periods where small caps and mid caps outperform large caps. Over the long term, 10+ years, mid caps, and small caps outperform large caps.I'm aware they're correlated. Every fund is a GROWTH fundso there is obviously some correlation. That's deliberate.
>>62420584>every ticker in all these funds are completely different companiesthis is irrelevant when both tickers behave the same waythis thing is certifiable shit. it dips when QQQ dips but doesn't catch tailwinds when QQQ is catching them. it's literally the same ticker that performs worse.
>>62420561Shit this does make sense.>sorry anon, you cant afford the multi billion dollar yearly licensing fees to make sure you use the AI in a "safe and responsible" so get fucked while the tech oligarchs destroy all their competition with their new legally enforced tech advantage
TSLL calls yes or no? how solid is the spacex bottom?
>>62420584>>62420589unironically irredeemable trash. it moves like QQQ but worse. if you want to destroy your hairline for the sake of muh smallcaps exposure, go right ahead. you're free to make mistakes in the free market. i implore you to not do this for your sake.
>>62420589.78 isn't even that correlated for equitieseven commodity equities are .40 correlated with QQQ, and commodity equities excluding oil are .60 correlated with QQQ.78 is not bad at all. Small cap growth are basically the future QQQ if they ever make it to the top. There is some diversification here, and everything stays concentrated in a QQQ thesis. This just captures some small cap and mid cap growth instead of being all QQQI'm not looking for utilities shit in SCHD that are going to slo my gains down.
>>62420582>If you needed say, a spreadsheet program with just this one little specific feature, it’ll be able to do that.I actually did just that last weekend as an experiment. I asked claude to make me a spreadsheet program that can run python in its cells instead of excels stupid functions and it made something functional on the first shot. Its definitely not perfect and I would have to work with it to improve things, but it did work, and at least now if there is something I dont like I can get the AI to try and clean it up or fix it, whereas MS excel still has annoying glitches from at least a decade ago. I hope MS gets fucked desu, but if newer models are only going to be in the hands of big companies that might bail out there stupid company unfortunately
>>62420596>>62420603And SCHD sht is deadweight that needs to pay a dividend to convince people to buy it ecause the companies don't grow anymoe.I have a QQQ GROWTH thesis. Do you understand why deliberately chose a growth thesis? That does not include geriatric companies with negative growth like the shit in QQQSCHD is low beta shit. I don't want it. It's low beta shit, it doesn't move with QQQ, because it doesn't have any growth.
>>62420610I meannegative growth like the shit in SCHD
>>62420368Goddammit, FRMI is so close to being a generational wealth stock, this disgruntled former CEO is fucking with it so bad dude. Everyone wants the power and needs it, they could have it all. FRMI is a REIT at a stupidly cheap price. This is why I am willing to risk a lot of my 401K on it but its definitely nerve wracking every day. If I get what I want I can basically retire 3500 shares if they give me essentially 18 a share I can get 50K a year in 2035. This sounds crazy but IMO it can easily 40x and for normal people this dividend will be like 3 dollars a share when its like 200. They will have at least a 10 to 1 split and my shares will turn into 35000 at 3 dollars. That is my dream, I think its correct if they bring in billions in contracts.
>>62420582You are rightJobs of 2030+ will require X number of 1-button tasks for the degree holder to complete per day, as that's all they will be trained to do or even capable of doingThe limit between what a human has to do (push 1 button) and what AI has to do (make each little specific feature into a 1-button program) will develop like a quantum foam until the government eventually has to step in and standardize the button push as the fundamental base unit of useful human work. Degree holders get better buttons. We can all do cashnado forever

You are feeding, clothing, raising and rearing a girl for at least 18 years solely so she can go and get ravaged by another man. All the hard work you put into your beautiful little girl - reading her stories at bedtime, making her go to sports practice, making sure she had a healthy diet, educating her, playing with her. All of it has one simple result: her body is more enjoyable for other men.Raised the perfect girl? Great. Who benefits? If you're lucky, a random man who had nothing to do with the way she grew up, who marries her. He gets to ravage her every night. He gets the benefits of her kind and sweet personality that came from the way you raised her.As a man who has a daughter, you are LITERALLY dedicating at least 20 years of your life simply to raise a girl for another man to enjoy. It is the ULTIMATE AND FINAL cuck. Think about it logically.dude this meme was so hard to find... (((they))) are doing such a good job of hiding search results nowadays... >>62421417So short the market? Got it.

>>62421413Iron condor is just two credit spreads that cancel each other out from a delta perspective. It’s a pure play on volatility. However you can sell just one half of the condor for a bullish or bearish delta exposure in addition to trading volatility and time. Since the max value of a spread is the distance between the strikes, the more credit you collect, the smaller your max loss. But at the same time the more likely it is that your short option is in the money at expiration.

>>62421472My ID will change cause I just got back from walking my dog. But the beauty of index options like SPX is they are cash settled so you can’t get assigned. I don’t like regular equity or etf options that close to expiry because of pin risk and assignment risk. I like the tasty methodology for most of my trades. Selling 45-60 days out and closing early.
>>62421378>Any options sellers in the chat?do thorough research, pick just a few stocks you like and follow and want to own anyway. Take a position, the run the wheel on them when crabbing. If significant temporary price drop then swing trade too (options require commitment for 100 share blocks which can require a lot of money depending on share price), but for pricey stocks you can swing trade smaller amounts like 57 shares. How bad is monday going to be for S&P?
>>624214950DTE puts are just super overpriced when the market opens with a sell off. It’s possible that the market punches through the floor and never recovers. But a lot of days it’s a liquidity sweep and the market bounces and goes higher than the opening candle. Selling SPX puts on a 45 day timeline doesn’t pay enough right now. Puts are still really cheap. One reason I don’t like condors is the market has been violently moving upwards recently. So put spreads have been money for the last couple months. It’s getting a little shakier now so I started selling more call spreads.

>>62421520Correct, but the risk is also very thin and is capped as the difference between the two strikes. You can then double this small premium by opening another spread on the opposite side, this position called an iron condor. An option cannot expire in the money on two sides, and so you collect the premium from both sides but have a maximum loss as the difference between the two strikes of the legs on the losing side.So say you sell an option with a strike of 105 and buy an option with a strike of 107, the maximum amount you can lose on the trade is $200. And again the reduced premiums are made up for by no Capital requirement, meaning you can sell as many as you can afford the max losses for

why think good and effective research equates to a good investment? When an investment pays off, the research we did was "good and effective" but good and effective research does not guarantee a return its retroactively considered good or bad research based on the return. But return on investment is independent of the research, it has no affect on the return. When someone does alot of studying on stocks, and comes to a conclusion, and the conclusion is wrong, we call them gamblers. When their conclusion is right, we call them a geniuses. Regardless of how much research was actually done. you can do all the research and be right and losey. you can do no research at all and out earn everyone. Its why I dont feel strongly about anything. I have made more money day trading SOXL than any investment I have ever made. it takes years for your research to be proven. And then its proven wrong. how many more of those researched trades can you really do before you die? 6? 10? 20? 20 thorougly researched trades that dont guarantee a return and the marginal increase in probablity over "gambling" could be so small it would need 1000 multi-year trades to distill to an actual advantage over something like SOXL calls.you intellectualize the stock market, that its a machine that rewards patience and hard work. But does it? Maybe on the timeline of life times but on a time horizon of 5 or 10 years there is so much uncertainty and variability that its hard to call any time horizon between one day and one decade reliable enough to invest in. Meanwhile, there is no benchmark to say your diligence is rewarding. there is no identical (you) that chose to day-trade SOXL calls and not study the stock market over your current plan of action to actually say for sure you are outperforming the other version of yourself. And the edge that generates, if you believe there is one, probably takes decades to play out because you need data and experience that proves it.

If you were to just full port techyou would probaby do extremely well. In the last 20 years, there were only two quarters where tech didn't lead.Probably, full port VGT + making sure you have al the IT, retail, communications that aren't GIS classified as tech, but are actually tech companies, and squeeze in biotech as a small allocationbasically, just 100% the common meaning of tech. Not the GIS definition of tech.what led the past 20 years was GIS tech, since that's how they label it in NYSEI'd like to see someone tell me I'm wrong.

>>62421514There are two countries in America>Asset owners or families that own assets. They're living it up with extravagant riches.>non asset owners. basically a second word country for themThere's a great economic bifurcation. It's actually becoming a huge problem, and if it continues to get worse I doubt it ends well for anybody that can't just pack up and leave to another country.Recently, the top 10% of consumers in income just crossed more than 50% of total consumer spending.

>>62421682We have an energy shortage. This is to say capital is not getting allocated to account for long term needs. The spending of the 10% is on bullshit luxuries, their money is invested similarly. Also, as I heard in an interview between two rich people, all the money in the world cannot prevent someone ftom setting your daughter on fire on the metro. Low trust, failing services and pissed off poors makes this ever likely. Random or targeted acts of violence will increase in cadance and no one can afford to stop it. You can try to isolate yourself with a bodyman and driver like Archduke Franz Ferdinan did and it did infact save him from the first two assassins, shame about that third one though.
>>62421782are poor people better capital allocators? it would seem the opposite. are you saying that it would be better for these violent destructive people to have more means at their disposal? what is your point other than you watch the news and are a rageaholic?
like if you want more cops and jails and collectivist infrastructure just vote democrat babe
