Is there any legitimate reason to continue long-term holding Chainlink? Have had my 10k stack since 2018 and if/when another bull market happens, I think I'm ready to unload the position. The DTCC/Swift shit has done nothing for the token so far. I'd like to at least have a down payment for a home after a decade of bag holding...my dreams of generational wealth are gone. Not meant to be a fud thread btw, I just don't even follow the crypto space anymore after so many years without meaningful enterprise adoption.
>>62424625>Is there any legitimate reason to continue long-term holding Chainlink?Yes : it never ever goes down below $6. $6 is basically 0, so by buying now you know you are slurping near the absolute bottom. And if you sell now you'll know you've sold the absolute bottom, which obviously is a very bad financial decision. So as a baggie in this timeline, you are cooked : you can't sell, you can only buy more.
>>62424635I'm asking what the bull case is (if there even still is one), not price speculation. I'm not buying anymore and would only sell if there's another market pump.
>>62424645> I'm asking what the bull case is (if there even still is one)>has a 10k stackKys. All fields
>>62424625My current hopium hangs on to the Clarity act
>>62424654Yes, a 10k stack that I bought for ~$4k and watched it go to a half million while being psy-oped by this stupid board that it would only go higher. My question is whether there is any recent alpha (or copium, whatever) that these "major integrations" are still in place and that it will be reflected in the token value.
sergey betray
>>62424666checked and oh man linkies are going to rope when clarity does nothing for link price appreciation pilled
>>62424666Low IQ and Not checkin those digits.>>62424667Basically, it hinges on whether you believe SN will make marines whole.now that build slop is cancelled will we start to see bigger buy backs weekly instead of the paltry 1.2 million despite all the “bullish news” over the past couple months. Me personally, I sold 4k stinks and realized 20k in losses. Kept a suicide stack and will revisit once we drop below 7
>>62424625the funny thing is you realized this too late., 'luckilyi sold a shit load of it at 24 last year, the writing was on the wall//the onlything that got me was it didnt get close to breaking all time high... i thought it would at least hit 80 this bull with bitcoin...we were all wrong, and no one and nobody made it from link..its time for all to admit 10k was indeed a suicide stack.... 100k was the make it stack
>>62424667it will probably hit 12-15 dollars in a couple more years in the next bull cycle...unload it then...link was too little too late. it was a cool project, its just that even after all these years it is becoming more clear that there is really no way for the token to capture meaningful value. imagine if there was a way we could have all donated to https , that would have not even made a differnce
would you like $70,000 now?or $8,000 in 5 years?those are your options
>>62424625Sell at $35 next cycle top
If Chainlink fails so does everything else.ive been holding since 2019. Even if I sold it for bitcoin the best I’d do is maybe double my money.I’m not even remotely interested in any other crypto.
>>62424832what does "everything else" failing even look like, stinky. the truth is, you're obsessed over a game that nobody else is playing. things are just gonna chug along as is, forever.
>>62424878Without Link everything becomes ‘trust me’ and we all know how that ends. No utility just speculation and gambling
>>62424724>too late., '>>62424738>to https , thatLiteral jeet typingHope the rupees they pay you to fud are worth your soul
>2037>staking v.3 finally released after years of delays >cap still 15k>mfw
>>62424625Yes. You can hold it for the tech, oracles should be a public good so im happy to support sergey, its not about the money for me. Im helping the network
I’m holding cuz society sucks anyway
i have 60k link... if this doesn't get me rich i can't transition and be a league streamer..
>>62424625No reason to hold it any more. I think the Clarity Act and the Payment Abstraction Layer coming online are the last chances to pump. Regardless what the price will be, I'll be selling in 2028/2029.I just checked the chart several days ago and realized LINK had a local top at $26 on August 22, 2025. Four months later Sandisk started going parabolic. Fuck, if I sold off and rotated into stocks I could have retired by now.
Just a wait and see
>>62425139wait and see you lose even more money?wait and see you grow out as life passes you by?wait and see how everyone in your peer group achieves all their goals and dreams while you languish in poverty forever?
I'm so tired.
hey do you guys use uniswap, cowswap or metamask swap for swapping shit on eth? does metamask just use uniswap?
>>62425115>Payment Abstraction LayerAgreed, but it's tied to Staking.Yeah, those things represent last pump "events" but after everything's online either we see a steady climb up (as institutional adoption climbs) or price stagnates. If it stagnates YoY then yeah it's time to bail.
>>6242465410k stack is small as shit, chainlink was $0.25-0.50 for a while.t.10k+ holder, also demoralized and have no idea what bullcase for link is anymore besides the staking narrative but that seems to not ever be happening
>>62425271doesn't matter what it used to be, dumb stinkieright now it's worth $70,000that's a big chunk of changeone you would realize right now if you weren't so fucking stupid
>>62425271the bull case was that there would have been more hype behind the token... as i have been fudding for years, it was all priced in all of it. the funny thing is we were all right , meme magic was real , it all came true, even sergey at the fcuking white house with trump...i literally made memes of sergey and trump in 2019...we did meme it. to reality the only one that didnt come true was 1000 eoy it didnt come true yet which is why i wont unload my 10k suicide stack....t sold about 40k link since 2021 when link was 40 dollars.
>>62425298>t sold about 40k link since 2021 when link was 40 dollars. The only stinklinker who made
>>62424685Yeh but meme dates keep me chugging along>>62424713You somehow lost 20k on LINK and call me low iq???
it's just money, just don't sell for a couple more years, ok? just hold, please
>>62424625No:>>62417503
>>62425493>Somehow Linkie average on this board are down 70% literally. Link since Trump revived crypto is underperforming Terra Luna's death spiraled fucking LUNC. Lol NO ONE is up on link and all of early biz sold in the first pump when it was clear they were not building out for token holders and made zero attempt at real utility for the token itself while they sold from operator rewards that were supposed to be ringfenced. Even now link is overpriced, unable to support even 30% of the network operations from revenues with no prospect or effort at changing that. It was always empty hype on headlines that mean nothing for the token that chainlink labs sells on the basis of.
>>62424667it's your own fault you didn't sell, you had it in your hands. Nobody but your greed forced you to hold. Be honest anon, you were just greedy, nothing wrong with admitting that.
the real hopium now is that dtcc is going live this yearmaybe the market reacts to that, maybe notalso that swift might be as welli have to admit i thought it would pump on swift being confirmed but no, nothingso will it pump with swift goes live? maybe notwill it pump with transactions? maybe notit might take fee capture on a decent volume transactions to see anything and that could be 5 years away, easilya long, long way from 2017 era when stuff would pump on rumorsthe worst thing is that link is the best project in market, it should be half eth's market cap on speculations which would have it over $100 but it just doesn't move
>>62424666>>62424911>>62425011>>62425511>>62425777holy fuck praise kek checked thread
>>62425287I don't know about this anon, but I'm 38. $70k doesn't move the needle of my finances in any meaningful way. Maybe if I was 25 and wanted to live like a nigger for the summer.
>>62425736>it's your own fault you didn't sell, you had it in your hands. Nobody but your greed forced you to hold. Be honest anon, you were just greedy, nothing wrong with admitting that.you can always tell it's the end stage of a cult investment when these comments become prevalent. years ago it would've been considered foolish to sell at anything below $500, now all of a sudden it's the investors' fault for wanting a few x's. always hilarious seeing altcoin cults talk about it like it's some normal investment where you'd consider a 30% gain to be ok. meanwhile dude is taking on insane risk just to hold this with zero legal protection against getting scammed. god forbid he want a return sometime in 6 years meanwhile every asset in the world hit all time high>>62424625op i would aim for $15-20 which i consider to be your best case scenario to exit in the next few years. to get there, you'll need bitcoin at least @$110k, maybe higherand for credibility, i'm one of the few here that consistently said $30 would be the top this last bullrunwhich of course was considered "fud"
>>62425115>I think the Clarity Act and the Payment Abstraction Layer coming online are the last chances to pump.even if it does pass which is highly unlikely at this point, clarity act won't help imo it's too late with midterms coming up so i don't expect a deal to get done. trump pissed too many people off and he won't sign off on anything that limits his families' ability to rug so the dems won't approveremember when the link god zachary rynes told the boyscouts how rich they'd get w ol trump lmao THE Cuckolds of crypto
>>62426804this is the kind of cucked thinking that made you lose all your money in link in the first place$70k moves the needle a lot more than $7k. so sell now.
>>62427070How? $70k maybe moves my retirement a couple years sooner with compounding returns in an index fund. If there's even a 10% chance that my link stack could go to $700k, I'll take that. The average person on this board has the mindset of a desperate caged animal. Investing should be a mostly passive activity. Hone a skill that will retire you regardless of the outcome of a single investment.
>>62427170100% this.
>>62424654>all fields>doesn't do all fieldsBump to spite you fucking newfag cancer retard
>>62424625yes its over you should give me all your link
>>62427044Exactly. The whole point with link was that it would be a 1000x+. Nobody gives a shit about a 50% gain. >>62427170Again, 70k is fine if you're investing into a huge gainer. If you're getting 50%, honestly, who gives a shit.
>>62424625Holding 20k since 2017. At the moment I don't really give a fuck anymore, I'm past demoralization and I've already lost all hope of ever making it with chainlink. I visit biz once a month to see if anything interesting is going on, but it's same shit for past 4 years or so.I've been holding for almost 10 years now, I've managed to build a career and I earn more in a year than those 20k link are currently worth. My stack might as well not exist so I will probably not sell it unless it really moons ($1k per link lmao). I guess most likely outcome currently is "token not sneeded" and sergay pulling one last betray and going public for sweet sweet IPO paycheck and completely abandoning the chainlink.
>>62428446link marines are a bunch of old people now, sad
>>62424625I'd rather have my tickets if it ever goes up which It won't..... But yes I've given up on it
>>62428473Everyone gets older, if they're lucky. Tbh it's a lot weirder to be a zigger on a long dead mongolian throat singing forum for middle aged men.
