I did my first foray into crypto. I minted my ex's infidelity and general shit behavior onto the blockchain with an NFT. Yes, this is cringe and me seething and coping but I don't care. Hurting people can be a two street and it can feel good. Invest in your feelings kings. Now I have no idea what to do with the left over ETH from this besides sending it back to Robinhood to make degenerate options gambles.

>Memory pricing is expected to rise sharply in the near term—climbing 40%–50% QoQ in 3Q26 and another 30%–40% QoQ in 4Q26.
>Price hikes are likely to continue into 2027, with a projected 40%–45% YoY increase due to zero wafer capacity growth.
>Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) are locking down 50% of total capacity (potentially rising to 70%) by signing 2-year LTAs that require a 40% prepayment.
40% of profits for the next 2 years are already locked in, so even if companies renegro on the deals, micron is still paid until 2029
The ideal state is one in which sk hynix and micron dump to 600 bucks in the short term for no reason and then gigapump to 3000.

Which is opposite to what most people on here want, most people here want to invest to not have to do be a goyim dealing in the real world

Nigga you aren't buying the pico top of VOO every time. You just put money into it, before you know it youve doubled your money. It folds in half that's fine, just another buying opportunity to lower your cost basis. If it goes up, great.
Momentum trading is fun with 5 figures. It gets spooky at 6. And if you start momentum trading 7 it's a great way to rack up massive short term gains taxes.
VOO is good because you don't lose your hair from stress and it balances your holdings without having to think about shit like tax impact.

There are 2 portfolios, if you want just a set and forget portfolio for the rest of your life that never need to be touched or fucked with, or gamed.

Portfolio 1#
>VT or VTI/VXUS (for more control and more international small cap exposure)
>most diversified, for every scenario

Portfolio 2#
>NTSD
>1.5x leverage global blue chips (leverage risk and large cap risk)

You could combine them like 70% VT and 30% NTSD, and you could go years without rebalancing or just never rebalance.

I just think these two funds are magical, and I encourage everyone to pick one even the people that think they know better.

Personally, I think we're heading into a bull market with small caps making a comeback.
>>
>he didn't buy STRC

I'm aware, but there's always short periods where small caps over perform. I was suggesting it would be persistent, and long term, like entering a 7 year long bull market where small caps have twice the performance of large caps. I wasn't referring to anything about the short term in any of my post. Anybody in VT knows the short term is just noise, and doesn't matter.

The true answer to all this is they expect you to have a family and you'll have to play it "safe" so that you don't fuck over their future. I wouldn't have price target, but the sale time should be probably around Q2 next year, but it depends. There probably will still be great earnings and growth, but at some point the stock prices won't be rising as much and the downturn might start looming (the current memory prices are just too high long term to not make someone solve it one way or another), meaning it might be better to exit into a different sector. My guess would be either back to hyperscalers, robotics, quantum, energy/infrastructure or software. Maybe the play with be going defensive with a bear market coming soon-ish (I suspect that after semis bust the AI payoff may take quite a bit of time to kick off) .
>>
>>62429340

That's an excellent read IMHO, except that when the memory/datacenter bubble bursts/deflates it's going to take the entire tech sector with it, and with that all of the supposedly safe comfy blue chip mutual funds that are 40-50% invested in tech stocks, particularly the Mag7. Cash will be king for awhile. And then, eventually... we can go shopping.
>>
>>62429378

>for each day, if TQQQ fell by 20%, liquidate the entire thing and remember the TQQQ liquidation price as v*
>for each day, if no TQQQ in your folio and current TQQQ market price is greater than v*, buy back in

the claim seems to be that as long as you can cut off bleeding and avoid "buying the dip" on such a volatile ETF (you'll never be able to time the trough anyway), you're gonna do reasonably well

any sort of bear market is going to tank the stock market. 2008 saw incredibly safe stocks eat shit on sympathy.

Did you guys know that Nestlé has such a big market share worldwide that she tells the marketing agencies she hires to not do too good of a job because they might take market share from a product that is also Nestlé?

yes. this is the Proctor and Gamble strategy. Multiple brands that sometimes operate under different subsidiaries. The competition encourages innovation and proctor and gamble still wins. Either brand of soap you buy ends up going to the same people
>>
>>62429412
Nestle is giga based stock for dividends and feeling like you own everything everyone has to consume everyday like water, food and all that good stuff
Terrible for growth.
Type of stock you should load up on after you’ve made your fuck you money
>>
>>62429412
yeah that happened with nvidia in a way
they made 1080ti too good so they are trying to not make too good products and force people to upgrade more often

Indeed, but there are still different rates of loss. There's a difference between owning pets.com or something like Walmart during dotcom crash. Cash would obviously fare much better during the crash itself, but then you can just be like Buffet and keep sitting on piles of cash for at least last couple of months.

I was posting about this yesterday
Invest in the copper mine. I'm telling you it will work out better than an online asset purchase and flip scammer.

copper is the happening metal right now, alongside palladium, platinum, and other rare catalytic metals

My mom told me she wants to buy 5,000 dollars of Micron today. I told her to set a stop loss if she does, for the love of God. Stresses me out when family talks to me about investment ideas. Everyone's going crazy for chipmakers, even my fucking mom. I might buy Micron tomorrow too, that's the worst part.

Yeah. Nestlé is obviously a girl and Proctor and Gamble is a guy. They are married to each other.

anyone checking the current massive dip on krknf?
I think it might dip 10-20% more and end up the best slurp of the decade

>Cash would obviously fare much better during the crash
that's the issue. there isnt a scenario where they make sense. You buy, no crash, you underperform or even go red. You buy, crash, still lose. Maybe in the old days they made sense as good investments with some guaranteed payments, but nowadays with 10-20% YoY returns driven by QE its a losing trade 9 times out of ten.
>>62429452
youre the guy with the mom who is always buying stocks? I remember reading your posts before.

You already know how robots will be.

Same as autos or airplanes.
For the first decade-ish itll just be one company.

they make batteries
its more so supplier
the rest of the products dont matter too much imo
1B marketcap, maybe good long hold, its just too cheap

hmmmmmmmm

I'm considering buying AVGO
but fucking hell even though it's at 2025 prices right now. AVGO still has a market cap of almost 2 trillion

Thoughts?

Al the biggest caps semis have the same curse as NVDA lol

It doesn't sound attractive to me to consider, but if I were you I would look at the 13f, a smallboi like that when its a falling knife needs a backer, like ARK with RXRX, or you will get your cheeks busted

you can't predict which companies will win in robotics

what you can know ahead of time is the bottlenecks

Chips will be the biggest bottleneck for robots
every robot will have to have chips lol
without chips, they'd just be mechanical and not robots

then batteries

they have all sorts of specialised motors as well

many of the same bottlenecks involving AI, involve robots

imagine if there's a robotics explosion in the midst of an AI chip shortage lol
>>
>>62429495
hmm maybe

seems to me from what little i know is that the battle will be decided by who can make the first good pair of robotic hands.
probably some combo of piezoelectric motors for fine tuning and tendon pullies for grip strength.

until they get the hands right itll be like the 30 years of traincars we had before Ford finally pulled it off.

I pretend to be interested in women to obtain sexy pics and revealing info about them so I can larp as them on social media. I've had hundreds of girlfriends in the past few years for the sole purpose of larping as them and not one had any idea I was using their info to hookup with dudes and then ghost them. Stocks are cool right
>>
>>62429502
hands are pretty good
the hard problem is autonomous operation with dealing with edge cases

a completely autonomous and functional robot that doesn't have hands would be very useful

Different guy, funny enough. My parents - God bless them - are just so impressed with my stupid Robinhood plays that mom has started reading the financial news, they finally took a shine to one of my autistic ass interests for once. Just hope it doesn't burn them, I'd feel awful if they managed to blow up some real money on this. Mom didn't know what a stop loss WAS when I told her to set one.
