having a job is a privilege in 2026. I would gladly work a office job paying me 85k a year with a smile on my face until i retire at 65 (retiring at 65 is also a luxury btw)

I have a dead-end office job that I barely do anything at where I could stay until retirement. It's hard for me to compare the purchasing power I have, some shitass website says 38 k$ annually but that's like nothing in a medium US city I assume? Either way, I live comfortably. I was never a big consoomer but I can afford anything I want if need be. I only spend like 35% of my paycheck.

I was aiming to retire by 40yo, and then covid mess up everything. I have to start over again. To make it worse, my health already mess up, bald, sleepless, overweight, and numerous hidden injury inside me which I don’t have answers for nor anyone can know.

Are you a pajeet? 85k is middle to upper middle income for a single person unless you live in a giant shithole, which would solidify the accusation of you being a jeet.

i think im gonna become a mailman. being paid to walk sounds good to me. if i ever became terminally ill, it would be kino af to be the guy that just says fuck it and starts dumping the mail in the woods at some point and they don't figure it out for years.
