But God was the one that created that specific human, he made that person have XYZ inclination and rational or unrational way of thinking, the “use of free will” from the person has already been pre determined by God.

So why exactly did he make these people pre inclined to want to adopt and gangbangrape little babies to death..??

>I was thinking about opening an IRA and investing in Asian and emerging market funds.

Start slow. The volatility of these markets will make you panic and sell while some emerging market etfs also have high fees and very high spreads.

If you want to cut your teeth then focus on the big economies of Southern and Eastern Europe before diving into the cyclical and leveraged markets of East Asia. Focus less on profits and more on not being retarded because that's where the real wealth is built.

>>
>>62438168
>we're long overdue the growth pattern to revert.
I'm sorry but there is not enough long term data to support that view even if that were the case you would be assuming that the past is an indicative trend for something that is structurally cyclical
I believe it's not cyclical and that if you're investing for the long haul these types of cycles are pointless to take into consideration because you're attempting to time something that may or may not ever materialize
world indices also have lower expenses as you point out which is also a big sticking point for any long term investment

TL;DR if you want to chill buy all world, if you want to play macro wizard then pick regional ETFs

We have actually. The EU is diversifying oil and gas supplies so allot of smaller players in the market were able to score contracts. Look for Algeria and NIgeria next - in 10 years those two will hold atleast 15% of Europe's oil market.

We shall see. As I wrote, semis should have some room to run in the next quarter or two and if they don't, well, too bad for me. I was wrong and I shall suffer the consequences, where I'll try to find the mistake and learn for it. Just because semis have already run a huge amount and are dropping now doesn't mean they shouldn't go a bit higher, enough to justify holding them. Tons of people calling the top (it already went up so much) and bubble popping (which has been talked about for ages with capex spending only increasing since then) isn't enough of a reason for me just yet.

No, my mother didn't really read me any fairy tales about semiconductors, nor the stocks market.

And yes, I've watched Willy Wonka a couple of times. Not a fan of musicals and singing in films in general and the chocolate river looked like Ganges to me, but it was overall a really fun film.

I understand that you're saying that I shouldn't be too greedy, but that's not really what I'm going for. It's not about waiting for the absolute top and thinking that since line has been going on it has to keep going on. For example MU and nvidia isn't all to likely to go all that much higher, if at all, but there are still plays and companies such as AMD (my main pick) and INTC that are likely to follow the patterns of previous companies and release earning with much more increasing magnains and revenue that should push their stock price and sector up for at least a quarter or two. It's a rather specific play and plan (thesis), rather than just wishful thinking.

I could still be wrong, but that's part of the play. Put up or shut up. If I'm wrong I'm wrong and I'll just collect my losses, trying to learn something for the future and move on.

watched a video on the taiwanese energy situation, apparently the government has been heavily subsidizing electricity generation and for some reason (ccp propaganda) that has become a major political issue in taiwan and the kmt opposes it (because it is infiltrated by china and they want to sell them solar panels) anyways the kmt has a lot of momentum and is winning the propaganda war over there and wil, likely win the next election, more expensive electricity will shrink tsmc's margins and make them less competitive. all this is bullish for intc.

What's the point of investing if not to try to get returns? You haven't adressed the thesis and reasoning behind the play at all. Only comparing it to making a bet in a casino, which I wouldn't do, because the returns are garbage and the odds aren't in your favour. If there was a game in which odds would be in my favour I'd play it all day long, as is in my opinion the semis play currently, that's the whole reasoning behind playing it, so you can either try to argue as to why it's not a good play instead of some generic GREED cry.

Jews have very high ingroup preference and are notoriously miserly. They tell their buddy Moishe at the synagogue each saturday what to invest in each week, usually it also accomplishes subverting the goyim somehow, since each of them work at a bank, financing firm, insurance company as a manager they got hired at for also being jewish.
Most insider trading is just knowing a guy or being an actual lobbyist.

His insight about open AI pulling out of the IPO in the latest vid was also awesome, i didn't realize the fees angle and how bearish that is for AI.

In light of the fact they're now asking for a government bailout, and with Korea doing its own (impossible) bailout, I think its safe to say its a lot more joever than just a sentiment thing or anyone thought possible.

Yeah, META selling excess compute was interpreted fairly bearish, indicating that the semis were over ordered and that there isn't enough of a demand for the current orders, so it's more of a desperate move to cash in on the capex spending, but to me it's more about trying to get into the AI space and compete with something like Amazon for their cloud services, which does sound like a decent enough idea to do for Zucc. It could be also even bullish with selling compute being way more linear way of scaling compute instead of getting compute for internal AI models and systems that may just not need the gradual upgrades that would sustain demand over longer periods of time.

There also were news about OpenAI developign and finding ways to get more efficient way to run AI, but it all sounds like unsubstantiated bullshit.

I'm not sure how to interpret that. If the situation was really dire, then you'd want to speed up the IPO regardless of results to get as much exit liquidity. anthropic pulled some nifty tricks to get their bottom line above 0 for Q2 so they can market their ipo so them delaying it is a sign that something is wrong
you also have price wars now after the token based pricing was rolled out so they might print lower Q3 numbers and fight it out privately before one of them goes public but it will get a lot uglier before sentiment shifts back on these guys
hardware will trade on this sentiment and that's just too much volatility for me

The next war will be the AI war.
USA will lose to South Korea and China. Americans will be employed by South Koreans and Chinese, the nearest restrooms at their workplaces will be used by South Koreans and Chinese, and Americans will only be able to use the furthest restrooms.

USA lost the war to Korea.
USA is a colony of Korea.
Without Korea, they can't even make television.

The cause of this war is South Korea.
South Korea is famous for Samsung and K-pop.

Because South Korea smuggled strategic materials into Iran, Iran was able to acquire weapons of mass destruction, including biological weapons.

Nah, wait until the end of July when the likes of Google and Amazon give their earnings, since their last earnings the valuation of Anthropic has risen to $965 billion from $380 billion, Anthropic's valuation was the main driver behind Amazon and Google's "profit" accounting for over half of their reported "profit" for the quarter, even though it's companies like Google(Invested $40 billion) and Amazon who are funding Anthropic and they decide the companies valuation, it's totally legit and real "profit"

Musk openly admits to talking out of his ass and using claims that he can execute a ten year plan in 6 months just to motivate himself. He's a loud stupid outlier. We went from picrel awkwardly shuffling around for millions of dollars to your slightly uncanny Hatsune Miku gf telling you your blood pressure is up and she'd like to watch your favorite show with you for the price of a sports car.

>The headline profits suggest that the bet is paying off; Google parent Alphabet’s profit jumped 81% to $62.6 billion last quarter, while Amazon’s net income surged 77% to $30.3 billion and AWS revenue grew 28%.

>Yet a footnote in Google’s earnings release, and a bullet point under the net-income section of Amazon’s, tells a different story about where those profits came from. Nearly half of Alphabet’s record $62.6 billion profit—about $28.7 billion—”did not come from search ads, cloud services or any of its products at all. It came from Alphabet updating the value of the equity it owns in private companies, primarily Anthropic, the AI startup in which Alphabet holds a stake estimated at 14% before the announcement of an additional $40 billion commitment last week.

>Amazon disclosed a similar figure even more directly. Its earnings release stated that first-quarter net income “includes pre-tax gains of $16.8 billion included in non-operating income from our investments in Anthropic”—more than half of Amazon’s pre-tax income (or profit) for the quarte

>Alphabet and Amazon are two of those investors. When they put more money into Anthropic, or commit to spending billions on cloud capacity for it, that helps push Anthropic’s valuation up. And when Anthropic’s valuation goes up, the stake Alphabet and Amazon already own goes up with it. They book that increase as profit; in this case, a substantial cut of their profits, even more than half.

>In plain English, the more they invest in Anthropic, the more profit they can report—without Anthropic ever having to pay them a dollar.

> What makes this quarter so striking is the scale: Alphabet’s $36.9 billion equity gain is more than triple the prior peak of the number, and Anthropic’s reported talks at a $900 billion valuation suggest the next markup could be larger still.

Buying calls for Google and Amazon for their next earnings is guaranteed free money

Google even delayed their contribution to the last two funding rounds for Anthropic specifically so it wouldn't show up in the same quarter in their earnings report, so they list all the contributors for that round and they're legally allowed to keep their name off of the list because they contributed at a slightly later date, Google and Amazon's "profits" in July are going to be huge, Anthropic's valuation has more than doubled, buy calls, free money
>>
