I've got some money to invest npw. My only experience with crypto shit is investing 20 bucks when Doge was out. Turned it into 11k. Mined bitcoins in 2011. Lost everything cause my mom threw my HDD away (no resetnment, it's life). Never did anythong related to stock exchange.

Anyway, still, I'm clueless about all this shit and was wondering if it was decent material to get started. I just want to outjew our masters.

Yeah, i have read the investing for dummies book, its very basic but its good to get a grasp of the fundamentals, quite a lot of helpful information to get you started.

>mined bitcoins in 2011. Lost everything cause my mom threw my HDD away (no resetnment, it's life)
You will be very wealthy no matter what you do, if you keep this Christ like mindset
I would probably be doing 20 years in prison if that happened to me
>>
>>62438602
Doge would only turn $50 into $11k if you bought around $0.001 and that's selling the absolute top at $0.75 which very few people do. Also how the fuck does your mom just throw this shit away? I would love to help you, I honestly would because I like helping retards, but I refuse to help you on account of you just fucking lying through your teeth. Why do this? Just go online and tell lies? Because it makes you look worthy of receiving advice?

tldr none of this shit actually happened and OP is a larping faggot, what else is new?
>>
>>62438862
Thanks, I'll start reading them tonight
>>62438887
If I remember correctly, I didn't mine that much BTC anyway, I had a shitty gaming PC. Made it run for weeks though but in the end I stopped cause I couldn't play and mine at the same time and didn't really gave a fuck back then.
> I would probably be doing 20 years
I mean, it was irritating but she did ask me desu if she could throw it away. And I said yes (didn't even think about the fact that I had my wallet private keys in there, I only realised when Elon Musk tweeted about Doge a few years ago. She also raised 4 kids with a husband that died in jail of OD so there's nothing she can do that would really upset me. It wasn't not the time for me the get rich, that's it.
>>62438896
I was buying them on Reddit and I remember that people would give away more coins that you were supposed to get. Bulk deals and shit.
> Also how the fuck does your mom just throw this shit away
She's the kind of person that's always looking for stuff to throw away to make space or something. I don't really know she just does it.
And there were deals back then because people had so much of them in the begining.
> I would love to help you, I honestly would because I like helping retards
Damn, it's not like I've read that exact post a million times on this forsakken website. Please tell me more about this imaginary golden advice you're gatekeeping, I'm virtually begging you.

There is no real reason to get into crypto over stocks. The fees are insane the exchanges are often dodgy and the volatility is way too unpredictable.
>>
>>62439116
Yeah I'm more interested in stock exchange anyway, I bought the crypto out of curiosity
>>
>>62438602
For a layman of course it's still useful. You can even look up some topics in Youtube explained rather well for people that interested in both investing or crypto.
>>
>>62438602
What's there to read about stocks? You just open an account in a exchange and buy stocks or ETF.
It's as simple as that.
>>
>>62439587
Plenty of things... I guess
>>62439513
You know some trustworthy Youtubers that aren't dying to sell their shit?

Why learn how to cook? Just open doordash and order some slop. Its as simple as that.

Oh I'm sorry so the books will tell you what to buy and when to sell?
Fuck off with your gay ass analogy.

Depends. There are some guys that genuinely just made bank trading and mostly teach as way to give back and to keep themselves engaged. That said nobody smart does anything for free especially if they do it well.
Personally I learned a lot from Ross but daytrading is NOT for everyone you need to have the right personality and mindset. You will probably lose money unless you are the right fit and are willing to put in the time and hard work necessary to become profitable. If you do go this route remember to start very small, like so small you might think its pointless.

Felix gives pretty good long term investing advice although he is very prone to clickbait thumbnails but hey thats the nature of the yt algo and if you watch the actual videos his advice is usually much more nuanced than the thumbnail would imply. Just remember never buy something just because someone told you to even if they're a bazillionare. In fact never go all in on anything buy a small bag and if you're still happy about it 3 days later maybe consider another small bag.

>you can't perfectly time every entry and exit therefore you should just give up
Ok retard. I'm sorry that I've ruined your excuse for being a lazy mental midget but there is almost never a good reason to remain willfully ignorant.

Trading requires a stable market going up and a good eye for local bottoms and a good risk tolerance (you can't make money without money) and a bigger cash supply to absorb any losses you make on bad calls thatl ose you money.
>>
>>62440820
>Trading requires a stable market
trading requires an unstable market you retard
>>
>>62440962
No
It requires a bull market which is stable but has volatility
A good market for trading was AI stocks from about december of last year up to the crash that has happened over the last week. You could wait for a dip, make a call that it would go back to the ATH and wallah- each time you woulda been right, Micron and Intel have been making new aths for months.
>>
>>62440967
>It requires a bull market
no, it doesn't
>which is stable but has volatility
okay, what do you mean by "stable" if not volatile? you're just twisting words
>>
>>62440983
>if not volatile
if not unvolatile*
>>
>>62438602
No, crypto is a worthless scam, there is no "investing" only gambling and you've now been warned.

You're both sort of right. You need volatility to make make good money but too much volatility makes it difficult to mange risk. You do NOT need a general bull market to trade because even in the most bearish times there will be something going up some of the time. My typical hold period is minutes, sometimes seconds. For example pic related is a stock I traded this morning. I made $1400 on it even though it basically dumped all day and is now sitting at .90ยข 50% down from its open.
