How dumb of an idea would it be to throw 340k europoorbux into bitcoin right now?
better off putting it into solana
>>62442406Depends on your circumstances. If you are 60, have no income and this is all you have, it is pretty dumb. If you have income, plenty of capital and/or time to recover, this seems a pretty decent time.
It could be a good idea so long as you're able to keep your emotions in check and handle seeing your investment go -50% for months or most likely a couple years at least before the bull run to end all bull runs finally happensjust don't have a panic attack and sell at a massive loss when btc hits 30k (you will)
super stupidbitcoin is going to 40K if not lower
The problem as an europoor is not so much the deed of putting it in. But when you can pullit out. You'll meet the never ending avaricious tax man waiting for you in 2030 for it's 40% cut on your profits. That if, you don't panic sell and end up in the red by 2027.Good luck
>>62442406$500k per BTC is almost guaranteed within the next 10 years. Does $2.7 mil sound dumb to you? I sure as hell don't think so. I have 5.5 BTC that I'm gonna keep holding for the next decade plus.
Just DCA 80k per month for the next 4 months
>>62442406I think it's a reasonable idea, just dont cuck out when it goes down to 40s or even 30s. It might not, but if it does you have to accept that nobody can time the bottom and you made a good bet still buying at 60s. I
>>62442736buying at 60K is stupid
>buying goy gold at ANY price in the year 2026/biz/ in a nutshell
BTC will stabilize around $500-$600 and kind of just hover there for the next year or so before collapsing to double digits.
>>62442406not THAT stupid
>>62442406I guess it depends on where in europe you live. If you live in western europe then sure, go for it. It's pretty much a spare change in there and you'll make it back in a year or two of waging. If you live in eastern europe then it's pretty stupid. I live in eastern europe, 3 years ago I sold my grandma's house for 400k€ and dropped everything into the most boring ETF, AMF and bond fund. Each year I have around 11% returns which is ~3,5 times my yearly expenses. Now I just have to wait one more year and I'll be able to start cashing out tax free.
>>62442736>buy but it's gonna go down by 50%
>>62442406Geniusly.
>>62442406greater fool
>>62442409Solana can dump and never pump again, BTC on the other hand controls all. I will buy BTC but not all at once, will also stake some on babylon, watch for another sharp drop and DCA again. Its better you make 3X than lose everything.
>>62442406*extremely* intelligent
>>62442566This. You can just wait until it falls more. If bitcoin is going up, forever you're fine. If it's going to zero, you are also fine, it will have one more bounce to complete the massive head and shoulders forming.
>>62442406We've probably bottomed out for this cycle as far as Bitcoin itself is concerned. Only issue I have is that the global economy is shitty and could plunge further -- China is a wreck, Europe is stagnant, and the U.S. is in a bubble predicated on stupid AI garbage. That's 70% of the world economy in the shitter. If people finally admit that we're in a global recession with no real clear leadership to take us back out of it, all asset classes could plunge in nominal values -- or they could explode upward again if all the major governments start printing money like they did in 2009.
>>62444602It's not 2017 anymore bro, nobody cares about Bitcoin, and people like Michael Saylor have infected Bitcoin. Solana on the other hand, is constantly adding utility and value. What happens in the next 50 years is irrelevant. You should be asking yourself, what will outperform in the next 4 years? It's pretty obvious Solana will outperform Bitcoin.
DCA in over the next couple of months. I will do so to but with more like 3.4k eurobux.
>>62444720Get real you missed out on Solana this cycle and wanna make it happen again. It won’t. Solana was the root of all evil, fraud and extraction this cycle. I’m not against trading it for shorter term setups but holding it with a long time horizon is a bad idea. It will eventually go to about 40 or so, maybe then it’s worth a buy
all in
>>62442406Depends.How are you gonna feel if it goes to value $27k total?
