How can this AGI thing actually make AI firms profitable? Everyone’s saying that once we reach it all the money we thrown at those data centers and tokens will magically turn a profit, but how?

An AI optimised car factory designs a new layout the same way it can win a chess game or Go game, this new layout allows 15% more cars made with the same resources. So we can sell the car for 15% cheaper.Suddenly more customers, and the other competing company goes out of business.This but everyone doing it at the same time in some kind of arms race.
