Why do so few /biz/ anons build businesses? Is the risk/reward ratio just not there anymore for most people? Is building a business no longer a life hack to making it?
>JUST START A BUSINESS BRO
>>62452281I've started businesses before, but between Amazon, AI, the economy, and remote work, there's really no opportunity left. This is a terrible time to start a business.
just get a small loan of 1 million from your pops and have uncle sam write everything off bro what are you poor
I really, really don't want to fucking do that. Fuck customers. Fuck suppliers. Fuck compliance faggots. Fuck everybody.
>Why isn't anyone building businesses?? Hello????
>>62452281>Why do so few /biz/ anons build businesses?how many people do you think are here?because my guess is about 5 outside of the generals. Maybe less.given the fact that I own a business, /biz/ has far MORE business owners as a percentage than is normal. I'm probably anywhere from 1/3 to 1/5 of the anons here on any given day.
>>62452480There's about 4k posts a day right now on /biz/. I'd guess at least that many users given that most people lurk.
>>62452512You'd be way off and OP knows itI'm a few hundred posts per day just by myself and I'm pretty sure you post over 1k per dayalso we're well below 4k posts per day now. As I'm sure you know since your bosses are probably demanding you up your posting speed.
They always tell you to start a business but they never tell you what the business does
>>62452521>I'm a few hundred posts per day just by myselfwhat kind of business do you own where you have this much free time?
>>62452540I've told you dozens of times.I'm an environmental contractor for mining and government. Mostly retired. I work about 5 hours per week doing accounting and compliance crap.
>>62452281because /biz/ is the board for idiots trying out the latest get rich quick scheme, and actually running a business is hard, and it's incredibly time consuming. Like, "you're at work at all hours of the day" time consuming.
>>62452566>it's incredibly time consuming. If you aren't employing someone else to run the business by the end of year one, you don't own a business. You're self-employed.
>>62452566Is there anywhere on the internet left for people actualizing legitimate get rich schemes? Not sure if this is only possible through irl circles or country clubs kind of things anymore.
>>62452566>>62452576in fact the most interesting thing I learned from a lawyer early on->If you died right now would your business keep operating like nothing happened?if yes, you have a businessif no, you have a job.
>>62452281I kinda don't know what to do. Everything I try gets completely ignored so I never get any clients.
