I was in #bitcoin-dev in 2010.

bitboy showed up around September. His first messages weren't designer talk. Just raw questions: "Where did the original come from" "What font is the B" "Why gold specifically"

Similar to if someone reading off a brief.

His handle only appeared when Satoshi was active. Never independently. I watched it happen for two months straight. bitboy lurking, Satoshi active. They'd log off in sync.

You can't get those proportions from a compressed forum PNG. He had the original source files - files Satoshi never posted publicly. I don't see anyone asking how.

Satoshi's last post was December 12, 2010. bitboy kept posting for three more years and we haven't seen him since.

Wright didn't build Bitcoin's face and neither did bitboy
