I may be a simple retard but I don't see any reason not to hold semis as long as you're not leveraged. The immediate hype might be dropping but they've still got huge demand for at least the next 5 years. Even if it takes a couple months for sentiment to return I don't see how they wouldn't grow more than something like the S&P500 over that time.
