>$90k in debt (mostly college)>got talked out of investing my $170k inheritance in Tesla (when it was 10% what it is now) and investing in Peloton instead, losing almost everything because I held like a retard>living paycheck to paycheck for the last five yearsWhy did God create me just to make me suffer?
>>62459653You made yourself suffer, god didn't make you invest in fucking treadmills.

I ask the same question. The worst part really is living in a society where most opportunities are fake, so you get gaslit into thinking there's jobs out the wazoo, but you can't actually do anything except end up working in a bank's basement processing loans or some shit even though you studied to be a diplomat or whatever.Shit country.
Everyday my choice to just index fund and chill becomes more justified.I would 100% end up like this guy if I dared attempt anything else.
>>62459657Reminder: You are the same color as shit; it stands to reason you would likely be even poorer than OP
>>62459653>he invested in the live-service treadmill company
>>62459682What this guy said.
>>62459758It's an exercise bike with an iPad on it, literally revolutionary technology. So many lawyers at my company fell for this ruse during lockdowns. Money don't make you smart.
>>62459808>Money don't make you smart.Truer words have not been spoken.
>>62459657gods fire will rain on your peoplehood nigger
>>62459653This makes me realize just going on what sounds cool is a decent strategy. Too often I've got burned trying to trick myself into thinking something was cooler than it wasn't. Never lie to yourself. For all it's problems tesla is cool. For all it's positives peletons are gay. There's always going to be some normie in your ear telling you the exact opposite of common sense and dumb ass justification, shut out all the noise. I should actually be grateful that none of my inner circle cares at all about investing.
>>62460536Every Tesla I've ever been in has felt "cheap", like the materials they used weren't all that nice for the price of the car. Living in an area that can get pretty cold means I would never go further than a hybrid.
>>62459653People don’t really talk about how the stock market can legit ruin your life. All the get rich quick stories get a lot of air time but the truth is there are a lot of people who lost significant portions of their savings being in companies that had over inflated IPOs or suddenly shit the bed for some other reason. It’s a legalized casino, and nobody cares if you’re a victim.
