Nope
>Behind the scenes: A U.S. official said the Iranians reached out to the administration after two days of skirmishes earlier this week and sought further talks to resolve the dispute.
>"They told us, 'We screwed up. We made a mistake. Let's keep talking,'" the official claimed.
>Baghaei denied on Friday that Iran had requested negotiations with the U.S. and claimed Iran only agreed to a request by the Qatari mediators to discuss the matter.
>"We want them to publicly say that they will stop shooting at ships and explicitly, or at least implicitly, acknowledge that they screwed up. We are working on that now," one U.S. official said. "We expect the Iranians to say ... that every channel in the strait will be open and that it will be toll-free."

Non-issue when you buy fully integrated oil companies. And if you're a gambler, at those price you can buy producers instead, and ditch refiners. Plenty of plays to do. But even there, day after day, refiners are currently a pic related species, so yeah.
If you're not sure and want to win either way, you just buy integrated, which would be the equivalent of buying an index ETF. Simple as.

SPMO is great. Not a lot of risk but more volatile than sp500. SGRT is the higher upside version of SPMO. I'd go 50/50 SPMO/SGRT or just pure SGRT. SGRT is an actively managed monthly rebalancing momentum earnings growth based etf. It's unique not seen anything else like it. It's an automatic winner picker imo.

I have lost count of the number of times that I've heard stories like this and it's sad. I don't understand how any guy can feel secure in his relationship these days. You could be together for 30 years and fuck like rabbits when she wakes up the next morning and says that she needs to go find herself, abandoning you and your kids.

It's like you just have to accept that there's a 99% chance of getting your heart ripped out of your chest if you decide to hitch yourself to a woman and best case scenario is that you get to share equal custody while hoping that your kids don't end up hating you because your ex-wife is poisoning their brains.

These situations normally happen around the 7 year mark. You have to constantly be on every single issue she brings up even if its a money sink or wrong. It's a horrible way to live and they will still complain about "Doing all the Household Chores", "Emotional Labour", "Mental Labour" or whatever dumb terms they want to make up for trying to reciprocate in a relationship that they actually don't want to work for. Had a buddy working on his degree, certifications, cleaned the house and just straight up divorced his woman when she got mad at him for not cooking/cleaning, this is when he had spent all day on his holiday 4 day weekend installing a fence that saved them 15k$ with contractors who will fuck it up by spending 4k$ on high quality materials and doing it himself. Older relationships she would've been out there helping him out and still have a meal ready for him after his shower.

I got so badly burned by a woman who switched it up overnight after just two months of dating but several months of talking. I guess that I should be lucky that it didn't last year and that I didn't have a family with her (she was too old to have kids anyway) but it still hurts to hear stories like this over and over. I know that there are couples out there keeping it together but I feel like I have a better chance of hitting a 20x in stocks than I do of finding a woman who won't leave me worse off than I already am.
>>
>>62471356
I have just learned to not take women too seriously and to see them all as practically the same. Women get mad at prostitutes because it exposes too much of how the intersexual game is played between the genders. Women are the unserious gender and men have to be the serious ones or everyone as a whole suffers. Know your boundaries and be firm with them. If she doesn't respect your boundaries she can leave or you can ditch her. You can always get a new girl. I think the problem is a lot of men are too much of romantics and they will even over romanticize their own pain. My dad isn't an alcoholic, he rarely ever drinks, but I have seen men drink themselves to death over a bitch that would never pick up his calls or show up to his funeral after he busted his ass for her. Fuck that. When you realize how naturally self centered women are then you really shouldn't feel bad sticking up for yourself or thinking for yourself because no one else will.

hell yeah, i like SGRT but i went all in on FMTM just on the basis of safety

SGRT objectivly makes more though, yet i'm worried how it would perform in a crash and i might start going with some margin as i want to min max my gains and having shit fall is no bueno for margin

i'll take the slightly less gains for more stability and therefore more agility to use margin which translates into more gains when compared to non margin SGRT

6 days and 8 hours each day? If the workload is anything real that's a great way to burn yourself out. If it's mentally easy or there's a lot of downtime at work then that's a great way to make tons of overtime.

All paper markets are fake and gay, they were literally invented for the purposes of price suppression. Traders finally figured it out and are staying away. I made a quantitative model with GPT 5.6 Sol

It has everything it should have. It could even be plugged into an automated trading system.

• The project is feature-complete for its approved scope, but the model is not yet prospectively validated or ready to be treated as proven investment guidance.

What it currently does:

- Produces a daily advisory U.S. equity exposure from 0%–100%.
- Combines 21/63/126/252-session excess-return trends with EWMA volatility and a 12% risk budget.
- Supports exact-date, latest-session, weekly, monthly, yearly, and full-history analysis.
- Performs point-in-time replay, walk-forward evaluation, transaction-cost variants, benchmarks, sensitivity analysis, and artifact verification.
- Includes GARCH, regime-switching, drawdown, trend-only, and volatility-only challengers.
- Fails safely when data is missing, stale, or insufficient.

How to use it:

- Run analyze --latest once after a completed trading session and an explicit data refresh.
- Use last-week to understand a recent change.
- Use last-month to see stability and possible whipsawing.
- Use last-year or all for research—not as a substitute for today’s output.
- Rerun the full research experiment only when the dataset, model, configuration, or experiment changes.

I would not add news sentiment, macro variables, sectors, or machine learning yet. More inputs could make the model appear deeper while increasing leakage, data-
mining, revision, and licensing risks. Evidence quality is the best next investment.

I added docs/MODEL_USAGE_GUIDE.md, linked it from the README.md, corrected the operations workflow to use the five-session v2 experiment that produced the verified
run, and updated CHANGELOG.md.

Verification remains clean: 62 tests passed, 3 live-provider tests skipped, Ruff/mypy/compilation/architecture checks passed, and coverage is 90.14%.

In my childhood I was neighbors with people like that. They were fun, but genuinely retarded to the point where even me, an 8 year old, could understand they were fucked. I remember my friend bragging about getting their grandmother's inheritence and being able to buy dirtbikes. Then 2008 hit and they went homeless.
>>
Anyone here tried the Buy, Borrow, Die method? Watched one youtube video about a guy doing it and gotta a bunch more recommended to me.
Basically you put all your paycheck into the brokerage and invest it and use your margin to pay for your life.
I saw three main strategies being deployed using that method.
First one was pure growth, you buy a growth ETF and let it ride because the growth should be faster than the interest. This is the pure play as you never pay off the debt and let it ride until you die.
Second was some income and mostly growth. You pick growth type fund that pays some income like SCHD or anything like that and then you also pick a growth index. You use the income to pay off interest and then let the growth do its thing. This one is a way to not let interest grow out of control.
Third one was to go heavily into income and focus on the ones with higher yields as long as they are sustainable. The idea is to use the income to pay off interest and some of the principal and pocket the spread. Because the income grows fast and your monthly expense don't you can also reinvest most of it instead of paying off the debt, it's a personal choice how much you pay. This strategy focus more on a target monthly distribution as you can pay off the debt faster when you get there but you can keep it going for as long as you want to.

What do you guys think of it?

>idk why people spend money on stuff.

Consumerism, trying to look rich or fashionable or cool. If you just focus on buying what you need to be comfortable rather than trying to impress other people you start to understand that a lot of the money being spent by the working class is being wasted to try and impress other people. I think if people understood the advantages of investing and the quality of life they could actually afford if they lived within their means then they'd be less wasteful than they are.

a good friend of mine went full port into those bitcoin income ETFs when bitcoin first started to dip last year, so when was around 110k, after falling off from 120k highs
i tried to discreetly advise him to reconsider the proportions he was investing, since normally he is a more conservative investor
but he was showing me the numbers "if you hold this stock for x-many days, then you get so-and-so returns" but i tried explaining they can always change those numbers and that bitcoin is an asset like anything else,it can do anything it wants- go up, go down, there are no guarantees

he is down six figures

If it's the one I'm thinking of...
Do you know if he reinvested some of the distributions? I looked it up and he should be down 50% in price if he didn't reinvest anything. The distribution is pretty sweet but since bitcoin price has melted down they keep going lower and lower in dollar amounts. Because it's an income fund with the upside is capped he also only get about 60% of the upside and that's assuming it will ever go back up.
Good luck to him.

Won't this require some really bullish news? Then again, what caused the April/May pump on semis? All I can remember is getting screwed over after MU earnings where MUU lost 50%+ of its value and then a week later it's like whatever caused it no longer mattered and 2 months later it was 10x. Really still bitter about this. Feels like it was dumped just to screw over short dated options. I was holding some. I also missed the boat on jumping back in on some other options. I could've made over $500k if I full ported MUU that week. Still bitter and it feels like I missed the boat what with AI news coming to a screeching halt. Where is the innovation that would pump it today? Instead I see negative news, "too expensive" "lawsuits over the price of ram" "we are going to loan out our stuff since idk we're behind or something"
I would like to reposition my holdings but right now I'm just trying to recover back to my peak in June.

>>62472156
Dunno honestly, like I don't have much of a clue or expectations. The one thing that I'm expecting is for revenue to increase, but how much it'll push specific stocks is tough to say, since so much is about the market sentiment as well, which tends to have sky-high expectations and tends to sell off for any given reason. Still, so far the capex seem to be increasing/steady and supply isn't improving much until like 2028, where someone like MU has agreements and cash deposits in advance for years to come. It's plausible some stocks will do fuckall and then crash eventually, but it might be worth the risk for the bull/base case. I'd still probably recommend AMD the most, but there are plenty of preferences with MU bulls being somewhat populous.

Probably AMD and INTC. The move towards agentic AI should increase the ration between CPU's and rest of the components HEAVILY, meaning there will be natural massive increase to CPU demand that didn't seem to be fully reflected into the margins and stock prices yet. INTC also are being owned by the US government. For the 3rd one possible MU. The demand for memory isn't likely to stop anytime soon and we got 3 main players, 2 of which are tied to the gook ape market and 1 is USA based, so they should be shielded a bit more from geopolitical happenings comparatively speaking. Their strategy supply agreement are also a good indicator for future demand, though the gooks have plans to manufacture components directly for their own goverrnment.

Historically internal rot always exposed one to external enemies. Post nukes the rot has to be so bad no one even believes you can set them off.
It's a brave new world, for the Great Powers at least.

i don't think authoritative cohesion or perception thereof has anything to do with it. we just don't have a large enough sample yet (what's one human lifespan between friends?). and there are (((those))) that seem to be eager to experiment.

Stupid question:
For convenience, let's say you have a round number to invest, like $100k.
Is it dumb to mirror an ETF of your choice, like VOO, while distributing your capital? Don't play smart trying to cut out what you think are losing stocks, simply mirror what you see.
One difficulty I'm thinking of is distributing your additional capital, but you can round it up and invest it every 6 months instead of monthly installments.

stop trying to be smarter than the market. voo and chill. trying to cut out certain companies means you think you have information that the rest of the market doesnt have either that or you have a crystal ball. both sounds retarded if you ask me.

We all knew that AI really stood for "Always Indians" instead of Artificial Intelligence, because why would companies keep on grabbing 3rd world shitters for pennies on the dollar if AI was going to replace human workers??

>In addition to chips, science minister Bae Kyung-hoon said South Korea is aiming to invest 550 trillion won in AI data centres by 2029 and more than 1,000 trillion won by 2035, while decentralising infrastructure to support regional growth beyond the capital.

That depends on how smart the person you're inheriting from is with their will. A good accountant or lawyer will know what to do. Something like a trust might help protect the money, maybe get some of it in your hands now rather than later too.
