On the left we have BBBY warrants that got issued at the same time as GME warrants. It uses the CUSIP-6 of old BBBYQ. On the right are the bonds BBBY just issued for their Container Store acquisition. It uses the CUSIP-6 of new BBBY.If the CUSIP-6 really did change because the IP got acquired, why wouldn't these bonds that were JUST issued use the old CUSIP-6 like the warrants? Unless...there's something of a conundrum regarding the CUSIP of the warrants (that were issued at the same time as GME) and they tie into old BBBYQ somehow.
