Depends on the width of the wings, but the return is a percentage of the collateral, which is the maximum loss on the trade or the distance between the strikes on the short and long legs.
So with one strike width on a single condor you need $100 collateral, and then the premium is just how far otm you or the different changes in premium between strikes. So say call side is $100 premium short leg and $80 long leg, and same for the put side: that's $40 premium for $100 collateral.
Then you scale by selling more. So instead of 1 you sell 100 for $4000 in premium and $10,000 in collateral.
My current play is GOOGL, with $100 premium for $500 collateral per IC. And the only way it loses is if GOOGL goes to either 420 or 315 in the next couple weeks. Current spot price is 356. Not happening.

the 2008 crash was systematically worse than 1929 and it recovered in what... 2 years?. We don't live in the fucking 1930's agrarian society dark ages anymore where the govt just sits on its ass for a decade and does nothing or actively takes credit out of the economy to make it worse through sheer ignorance. The great depression has been studied in depth and governments and policy makers in the current year of our lord know how to avoid that shit and 2008 is proof of that.

I looked them up maybe 5 years ago, and had hundreds of results.

Now I can only find 1 story about a specific instance where some dude got in trouble for it, but I studied abroad there and they were absolutely everywhere in Shanghai.

I also searched for the rooftop neighborhood and google wouldn't give me anything until I had claude find the exact name in Chinese for the rooftop suburban neighborhood.

$60 sounds resonable. It's possible that SPCX will be always somewhat elevated due to Musk and general hype, but the current evaluations don't really justify the price. The current available shares are around 4%?, so once the lockups start to elapse, the shares will start to dilute as the insiders will almost certainly use their own shares as returns and exit liquidity, at least partially, pushing the prices down heaavily. It's a pretty standart process and I doubt SPCX is going to avoid it. It's just pure unbiased mechanics.

I suspect that the reality may be that your analysts may not be all that different from your anons as they're still people, so when they see something that doesn't fit their own vision of the world, then their coping mechanisms are similar. It's just that the things they cope over don't tend to be as straight out ridiculous like gamestop causing a supershort to take down the whole economy.

To some degree. The issue is that when it comes to markets, then so much is uncertain that it become difficult to make confident declarative statements, especially when you're in the middle of regime change operation Epic Fury, where markets move depending upon tweets and at least half of the people are assuming we're in an AI bubble that may burst any day now, if it isn't bursting already.

The two things I'm sure of is that nothing ever happens and that every dip is a buying opportunity, where you never bet against america.

No. Zucc selling excess computing was potentially concerning, but the new memo confirmed that he's doubling down on buying computing, so my conviction is stronger than it was a week ago, despite the correction we're in.

The earning season will pump with ASML and TSM earnings just a few days away with detailed Samsung earnings likely confirming that chips are printing and rest of the bussines is dragging things down.

The sector got overextended and overcrowded into a pretty standard correction with the next leg up coming with the earnings season.

Today's dump is mostly around geopolitics, which is ultimately proven to be just a noise. If FED were to hike, they would've most likely done so already, as interest rate will likely to stop decelerating, at least temporarily.

Also it is ultimately gook's fault. Fuck gooks.

I don't think that Zucc's comment was meant to achieve that. It's more about making Meta shareholders more secure in the fact that if Meta were to overorder computing, then they can just lease it anyway. I don't think there's more reading required.

If anyone were to attempt to dump semis it'd probably be Tim Cuck seething over getting squeezed for once by his suppliers.

I did fomo mostly at around that price range (well, not pure MU and I did have some gook stock from before). Also I really did think pretty hard over that decision, so it's not just line goes up, so I better get in too. I really do believe that the capex isn't stopping soon, the shortages in parts are going to persist at least over the next year and that the margins are still going to increase or remain around the same level. Maybe I did buy too high, but I still waited for a dip to buy that then started to recover, so I bought in, but ever since then it just kept dumping.

Maybe I'm a moron that bought at the top and will lose large part of my poftfolio, but I don't have second thoughts yet. I'm holding regardless of price action unless something in my thesis changes.

Oh yes, I did think about that real hard and long, but they just keep ordering for whatever reason. Google making massive equity offerings just to buy chips. Really gets the noggin joggin.

I hear the voice of the market.

It calls out to me, the egregore of the the invisible hand, billions of minds made one, an approximation of the monad from which all are but a fractured shard of the gestalt...

They/them says.... open red flip green deep red flip greenly crab crab green end.

The voice of the pseudo-monad has spoeneth.

only timeline that SOXL hits 400 this year is if Warsh comes onto stage drinking malt liquor and slurring and says he is lowering rates by 100 bps because Trump said everything is cool before he pukes on himself then goes to the lolita express II because he has to do some new philanthropy work with children

shit will probably just schizo crab/kangaroo to the end of the year but with leverage and options fags getting blasted and chopped.

No but really, between all the retarded action we're seeing even TODAY, plus the head of the CME puting a non-veiled warning against the treasury 2 days after Reuters reported how Scotty would short oil, and the multiple declarations from japan regarding oil futures and "considering" interventions, how can you NOT see the blatant manipulation? I won't even delve into the correlations with the JPY happening when oil futs somehow dump during nip trading hours.
It's so fucking telegraphed.

AI companies are begging Trump to ban open source models. Considering the entire US economy hinges on AI he is probably going to do it, meaning all the companies that are now quietly switching to chinese models will be herded back into cloud-based services. This will justify an even bigger build-out of datacenters making semi-conductors even more valuable.

yep. two options here

A) they admit inflation is bad/the war isn't ending/they need to raise rates and the markets break down to lower lows to find new support levels giving everyone a good buying opportunity at fair prices

B) they just fucking lie. they say inflation was lower because Walmart discounted potato chips and they try to push markets higher and everything is overpriced as fuck and a live hand grenade that is liable to rug 20% the millisecond you buy it

I'm hoping for nigger tuesday because I prefer buying cheap instead of chasing pico tops like the typical /SMG/ retard
