I desperately need a way to make money. Don't care if it's a job, legal, illegal, whatever, it just needs to be a thing I can do from my computer.I'm disabled - I can't stand for more than 20 minutes without passing out, and can't lift anything more than 10 lbs. Doing the dishes takes me over an hour because I have to take breaks. Applied for disability but it'll be a while before I start getting anything from there and I need food now.It HAS to be something I can "set my own hours" for to let me take breaks and get my chores done. It has to be 100% doable from a computer. I do not have any work experience or formal education. I've become disheartened trying to compete for jeet pay and sending in thousands of applications online after sifting through all the "remote" jobs that actually need you to come in to a physical building sometimes or require a base minimum of a college degree and like 10 years working in the field. The fact that I can smell the pizza my neighbors ordered but I'm so fucking poor I can't buy one too is making me consider the rope. I'm so hungry for something hot and tasty but all I have is peanut butter sandwiches. I will do just about anything that doesn't involve porn or sex.I'm not even asking for much. Obviously more money is better, but if I can just make like $500 a week I'd be doing way better.
>>62479075I think if you can make $500 per week you're going to get disqualified for disability. Or wind up in prison for fraud.but what I do is flip stuff on ebay. it's easier if you can go to thrift stores and garage sales, but it can also be done entirely online. buy cheap auctions on ebay and then sell them as buy it now for twice as much or more. But to do that you need money to buy stuff, time to study prices, a place to store stuff to sell, a ton of shipping materials, and then months or years for things to sell. but if you get into it and list enough stuff you can pretty easily get to the point where you're making thousands per month. It just takes time and money.
>>62479087You can make like $2,800 a month before disability starts getting mad at you. If you make more than that they'll just lower the benefits you get, unless it's obvious that you're not actually disabled. I know a woman who faked a disability claim and then made Facebook posts of her on vacation and on hikes and shit and yeah they got mad enough to charge her with fraud. That won't be an issue for me. Theoretically if I find something I can do easily enough and if it's really profitable I can avoid getting disability payments altogether. I don't like being on charity.I've tried selling random stuff on ebay and it just seems like it's so slow, nobody wants to buy anything or if they do they want to argue to hell and back over the price. Thank you, though.
>>62479075take some money and go on telegram. find a guy that sells good leads. then text all of them a fake bank fraud alert about suspicious activity on their account and they need to type 1 to connect with an agent. then call all of those people pretending to be from the bank and talk them out of their savings
>>62479115>I've tried selling random stuff on ebay and it just seems like it's so slow,it's very slow unless you've got hundreds of items listed then you're selling every day>nobody wants to buy anything or if they do they want to argue to hell and back over the price. I just ignore anyone that makes an offer other than what I listed. Sometimes I'll accept their offer or send back a higher offer, but usually I just ignore them.>Thank you, though.no problem it's not for everyone.I just like it because it's almost entirely online. I can be shitposting on 4chan and still making money in another tab
>>62479087What is the best type of product to look at to maximize your earning as an ebay flipper. Clothes, toys, videogames? I go to japan once a year for work and can buy a bunch of exclusive shit here in person.
>>62479115>$2,800 a month on disability>Meanwhile I bust my ass 40 hours a week for $3100/month + meager benefits + a chance at extra money if I decide to work extra for the overtime slogHow do I get on disability? I need more free time..
>>62482172You’re a loser
>>62482199I looked this term up and it doesn't seem to be a category of product
>>62482194By being fucking disabled. By the way, you get $1,600 from the government per month, it's only if you work and make $2,800 or more at a job that they start reducing or eliminating your benefits, you're not GETTING $2,800. If you want $1,600 per month at the cost of no vacation, active free time or hobbies, I guess do a backflip off a building to paralyze yourself. Apparently social security is going to run out in less than a decade, so people like me who can't fucking work or live are screwed anyway no matter what we do. Good thing my disease is fatal in less than that, I won't have to figure it out. For right now I just want to enjoy shit like hot meals and maybe leave something for my family, or at least cover funeral costs.>>62482172>>62482205Look up one of those "import straight from Japan" webstores and see what sorts of products are popular. It'll also give you an idea of how much you can mark up the products. If I had to hazard a guess, probably shit like anime figurines and exclsuive snacks would be the most profitable. Weebs will pay anything for plastic anime titty statues and most people would at least try an exotic snack if you offered.
>>62482221>you get $1,600 from the government per monthMy monthly expenses are $1300/month (rent+food+insurance+gas+etc) so that sounds perfect>Hot mealLearn to cook. Cooking in general is cheaper and a dollar saved is worth more than a dollar earned (because of taxes). If you want pizza, they often go for around $4 for a large pizza in my local grocer
I don't know what exactly your condition is but if you live in the US and near a city, look up blood plasma donation centers like CSL/Octaphrama/Biolife/etc. They will will pay you for your blood plasma, and when I used to go it amounted to around $120/week (over two weekly visits) and they often have new donor bonuses that amount to around $500 over two weeks. This is plasma donation and not whole blood donationso it can be done twice a week for payment. There are restrictions like needing a certain level of blood protein/iron levels and other health stats like blood pressure and pulse but I'd check it out regardless.
>>62482261I'm on disability as well (£1,500, whatever that is in burger money) and it kind of sucks. For starters it took forever to get to this point. Constant assessments and years spent living on half this amount. Half of it goes to rent anyway due to HCOL. As that guy said you are constantly threatened with being kicked off the program. The result of this is that you become too afraid to do anything at all. Even volunteer or take a course because they'll say you aren't disabled any more. It's very boring. At least you have your wagie job to keep you occupied. Idk about America but savings are severely restricted so it's not like I can have any fun money.
>>62482261I love to cook and I'm very good at it, I cook almost all my meals. The problem is there are days when I just can't. I meal prep when I can so that I can just throw something in the microwave or oven, but my ability to prep ahead is really limited. If I have a string of extra bad days together then I'm left with only shit I can throw together in 5 mintues, no time to prepare anything hot from scratch. I also can't donate blood or plasma because my condition is not stable enough. I know how to drive but I'm not legally allowed to, so unless I get chaperoned or want to brave public transit I am stuck in my home. I have to get people to shop for me or use a service like Walmart+ to have it delivered for cheap. If I get a trip to the store I have to use one of those electric cart things, but since I look young and healthy on the outside I get people judging me because they think I'm lazy. I've had people confront me over it because "there are people who really need to use those". Yeah bitch, me. I even get people who inspect the car I'm in after parking in a disabled spot "to make sure" I have the placard. If you want to get on disability, then be disabled. Otherwise you're stealing it from people like me who need it to live. There are also a lot of retards who steal it when they don't need to, and I wish everyone who does would die. I'd work if I was physically able to, I hate being a burden to people and I love doing things. I wish I could go out for walks again or ride horses or be able to take a trip to the coast in my own car whenever I wanted, and I'd give up just about anything to be able to. Don't take your ability to work and live under your own power for granted, anon.
>>62482172not sure, I sell coins and collectibles because the price is highly subjective, they're fairly small and easy to ship, and there's tons of stuff for sale on eBay to pick from and flip. I used to sell antique postcards but that's not nearly as hot as it was a couple years back. If I was importing stuff to sell I'd probably try to get toys and collectibles. Maybe video games. Most of that stuff can probably be bought directly from Japan now though. So I'm not sure. My expertise is in local collectibles. Antiques mostly. Bottles and papers and coins and junk from the 1800's.
>>62482328Only two things have ever gotten me to cook consistently. 1) Having a bike, fuck dragging groceries home on the bus 2) Buying expensive cuts of meat/fish because they're easier to prepare. Lamb chops/salmon doesn't 50 different sauces and seasonings and hours of stewing. I've never meal prepped, microwaved leftovers tastes like ass.
>>62482336I've occasionally tried to sell my old stuff on ebay just to get rid of it and I noticed that video games and RC parts went fast. Bicycles and my handmade soap did not.
>>62482377yes video games sell in days. I just don't make much profit from them because everyone knows what they're worth so it's hard to get them half price. Also there's tons of other sellers so you have to go cheap or you won't sell.I try to buy stuff with no real set value so I can double or triple the price and someone will still come along and buy it anyways. Antique books, old art prints, ex libris bookplates, greeting cards, collectible cards, advertising. Shit like that has no real set value so if you know what people want you can buy it cheap and sell it high

>>62482320That's about $2,000, a little over. It does take a while to get on disability here too but I'm fast tracked because of my disease so hopefully I can get it sooner.>>62482365Meal prepping is, like, the #1 most important part of cooking, at least if you have limited physical ability. Whenever you have a minute or two you just cut up some more veggies into a tupperware or measure out some seasoning or line up the ingredients you're going to use for your next meal. It doesn't sound like a lot, but it means the difference between doing 30 minutes prep + 20 minutes cook time at once or like 5 minutes prep and 20 minutes cook time at once. You can also meal prep just about anything. Slow cooker, one pot, or quick prep recipes are great, you can find a lot of cookbooks dedicated to that sort of stuff. I also think a rice cooker is really important, if you're having a bad day you just take a few minutes to put the rice on and throw some fish or chicken in the oven for a quick dinner. Get one of the rice cookers with a steamer piece so you can also steam some veggies. The main thing that gets me is you can't really meal prep like a week ahead if you're using meat, but I need to eat meat heavy (preferably keto but that hasn't been working out), so if I fall behind because of a few bad days then I'm stuck with whatever pantry staples I can slap together in less than 5 minutes. I do keep frozen veggie steamer bags and frozen meals for cases like this, but they're honestly so gross that I only use them if I'm out of other options. What I need is a fucking live-in maid or butler so I can point to shit and have it done for me when I can barely get out of bed.>>62482528Oh shit, great find! I had no idea this was a thing. I'll send in an application. Any recs for what a company like this would want to hear? Work experience, my hobbies, etc. I'm not very knowledgeable about AI or techy stuff.
>>62482606>Any recs for what a company like this would want to hear? They want people with a high school diploma/GED and awareness of US culture. That's pretty much it.There's also this position, which is what I do. It's considered easier I think, but I'm not certain they're hiring for it since it's not on the main website. But I found the job listing elsewhere:https://www.ziprecruiter.com/jobs/telus-international/internet-safety-evaluator-english-us?lvk=D8IiHgM8tg1BDuMuVrzfJwA tip for the exam: If you fail, there's usually a second attempt. >>62482821Thank you! It seems like they'll keep your information on file and let you know when there are new job openings even if you don't get hired, so if I don't get the rater job I might get another one offered.
>>62482922fuck a job bro. go to onlyscams.org
>>62479115>I've tried selling random stuff on ebay and it just seems like it's so slowanon, you can't just find random objects around your house and list a couple and expect them to sell. You have to find the items and categories with the most sales then hone in on specific items to search for and bid on. The trick is knowing what things have already sold for, how often they generally sell, how fast they sell, and whether or not you can bid snipe the same product for 50% or less of what you can resell it fast for. Its just a little research, adding things to a spreadsheet and then you're off to finding stuff to bid on. Once you have a catalog of items you'll just have sales like a normal store. Some stuff will sit in your inventory for a while but if the margin on sale is high enough it won't really concern you if you have other stuff selling. People often sell laptops with dead batteries for way less than it would cost you to buy another battery, open up the case, and install it because people are scared of opening up laptop cases.
>>62482221>you're not GETTING $2,800my ex's mom was getting $2400 per month in disability and then she also got like a $30k settlement for injuries she faked. >>62487298Huh... well now that IS retarded, but if you got free money or spins or whatever on a bunch of those, and any time you won pulled out half your earnings and used the other half for more gambling, you might eventually get a big payout. All for a couple hours of your time a day, probably. It at least wouldn't hurt if you have nothing better to do with your time, like me. Are there any lists of the gambling sites that give you the most free shit? I've never gambled in my life.

>>62487298>from casino websites for a total of $30 per day?what casino websites aren't complete scams that try to stop you from withdrawing?
>>62484609>>62484461Curiosity got the better of me. You honestly mean to tell me that there are people out there, paying a known scammer a monthly subscription fee, in order for him to give them lessons on how to "not" scam people? There are actually people who have this laid out to them, and they still pay him? How retarded can you be? I refuse to believe this is real. I trust this about as much as I trust a bitcoin assassin who needs to meet face to face for security reasons.
>>62487391Paying scammers to getting taught how to scam seems not a good idea. an acquaintance of mine was a failed entrepreneur and then set up a consulting business about how to become an entrepreneur, I would never pay him to advise me.Anon, have you considered some kind of social media presence to make yourself known, and then doing a crowdfunding? To make it believable you probably would need to set a specific goal, like "raise 3000$ to buy an electric wheelchair" or whatever, but once the money arrives you obviously don't have to spend it, can invest instead (conservatively) and use the dividends to supplement your income.
>>62487490Or even better, set crowdfunding goal to be "specialized medical treatment beyond what the public health system provides" I just read the Wikipedia page about your condition and apparently the treatment involves managing the symptoms in an optimal way, not sure if this is already happening but if crowdfunding money rolls in, you can divert some to order hot pizzas.
>>62479075>The fact that I can smell the pizza my neighbors ordered but I'm so fucking poor I can't buy one too is making me consider the rope.Funny you say this anon, most pizza places have spare pizza to throw away every night. It's because people order the pizza online and then never show up to get it.Literally just go to a pizza place right before they close and ask the random wagie if they have any extra pizzas that didn't get picked up today, you'd be surprised how many people will literally just give you free pizza. But it has to be right before they close when they are about to throw it away.
>>62482464i wish that paid
>>62487490>>62487500I've thought about it, yeah. But I really don't like begging. I would want to do something else, like streams or YouTube videos if I was going the public funding route, at least then I'm providing some entertainment to the crowd throwing me peanuts. The problem is building something like that and making it profitable in a short amount of time. I actually knew a relatively famous YouTuber, I grew up around him, but he's dead now. He started his channel kind of out of the blue and didn't expect it to go anywhere. But he was also a truly unique individual with a talent for teaching and an incredible amount of skill in the thing he liked to teach, and I don't have anything like that to share. I'd probably just make another out of thousands of video game or cooking channels and get lost in the mire. I'm also a stonefaced bitch with a progressively worsening stutter and random bouts of mental confusion, so it would probably not be a nice thing to watch.Symptom management for me is trying not to get too much or too little exercise and eating keto. It's hard to do when I still have to keep up with household chores even though some days taking a shower is overdoing it. I did something that worked out my upper arm for about a minute, 2 days ago, and it's still sore. I also supplement taurine and B vitamins. I'm too poor to eat keto since I rely on food banks right now. Everything else is up to fate.>>62487542Honestly, wonderful suggestion. I'll have to wait for the weekend so someone can go to the local place for me, but I'll see if that works.
what a sad thread. What are your parents doing about it? They chose to have you and chose to keep you even after they found out your disabled. Why even live and I say this 100% legit. You're never going to do anything fun or even have sex. Why don't you go out and change the world by killing someone slightly important
>>62487733This dude has never used a toilet or washed his hands. Ignore.
>>62487733They're both dead, to be fair to them, and didn't know they were birthing someone with a premature death sentence when they did it. It wasn't until my father died a few months ago that I started putting pieces together and demanded some specific tests be done that I was even diagnosed. Apparently these diseases are rare enough and so broad in their symptoms and severity that they're very hard to diagnose. At first I just had diabetes and vision issues, then it was migraines, oh you have POTS too, well xyz can be explained by....Family members are currently being tested, apparently several of them also have it but a much milder form and are expected to live into their 60's or possibly normal lifespan. God just hates me, specifically. Why live? Because I'm married, and me dying will destroy them completely. I hope to leave something of (literal) value behind specifically for them. All the fun stuff is behind me, the sex still exists although less than probably both of us would like. We choose not to have our own kids, even though we technically still have time and WERE planning on it before this discovery, because I'll be damned if I force someone else to go through this shit.>Why don't you go out and change the world by killing someone slightly importantAnon, are you really trying to get me to fedpost on this, a forum for Lithuanian wet bulb temperature horseback arborists? I don't quite have zero fucks left to give, you must be patient.
>>62487848so you can have sex and managed to get married (to a tranny, or was your choice of words poor? ) and only recently even found out you were disabled but you can't work a job?
>>62487883I'm a woman married to a man. On a good day I can be up and around and doing things for up to an hour at a time, yes that can include the sex. We knew I was disabled, or at least getting there, before we were even married. The issue was getting a name for what it exactly was. We got the run around for this or that which could POSSIBLY explain what was going on, but then I'd develop more symptoms or they wouldn't respond to treatment. Actually, the metformin they put me on when I was first diagnosed as diabetic almost killed me, and SHOULD have been the first warning sign that it was a mitochondrial disease, but my doctor was a woman from Nigeria so what can I say? More likely they just thought I was blowing things out of proportion and didn't take the shit I was saying seriously enough. I had to literally figure it out on my own and then demand they get me the tests I needed to confirm my own self-diagnosis. No point in suing, apparently shit like this happens all the time and no one cares, according to the lawyer I talked to. You need to have seriously blatant fucked up shit happen to you almost maliciously before a medical suit can even get off the ground most of the time.Like I said in the OP I have no formal education or work experience. As it happened, I dropped out of high school to take care of a dying family member. And then there was another one. And then another one. I spent all my time from high school to a year ago essentially being a home care worker. The stress (and a ton of other shit happening all at once) of my father dying caused my disease to spiral rapidly out of control, and now here we are. The dumb thing about mitochondria is that any tiny thing will put extra stress on them and cause the disease to worsen - you being upset, or getting sick, or not sleeping enough, or eating the wrong type of food. They're whiny little bastards.
