COREWEAVE, MICRON BROS WTF IS HAPPENING
>>
If I just swung in and out since last week or two, that'd have been 2 swings. Probably would've recovered about 30%-40% of my losses just using 20%-30% of my portfolio in both occassions. Maybe 1 more swing after that and I'd be 90% or more into cash long term after that. Fuck me I really should have exited back in June when I got the feeling I should have. What a load of crap. I'm in from January to March only get buttfucked out of MU, and then conveniently everything decides to pump nearly nonstop from April to June. Of which I get a tiny crumb of a return from. Now I'm here bagholding. I'm back to May's portfolio value. Making the majority of this effort a waste of time.

FUCK ME! All I had to do was hold that stuff back in March, and I'd have 10x'd and could have happily sold in mid May-mid June. I know I would have because that would have put me in 7 figure heaven.

At this point what's even the reason to live? I talk about the ones that are deep into their dementia already, of course, what's the point to stretch their lifes for another 2 years? Don't get me wrong, I'll never be on the "kill people that does not constantly contribute" angle, but when your mind has decayed you are basically dead, and parading your remains just because your decrepit body still has a heartbeat is outright cruel for me. A bedridden conscious 105 year old is incomparably more alive than a senile, reasonably fit individual in his 70s in my opinion. How is their forced stay in this world less sociopathic than just a painless euthanasia?

I'm somewhat skeptical on AI. I think that the railroad/dotcom bubble is likely to track pretty well, where yeah, AI will ultimately prove to be a valuable revolutionary tool, but it'll also bring some major issues with it. My current guess is that the return on investment won't come soon enough and it'll cause some major private credit issue, causing major economic downfall (similar to 2008 crisis). potentially taking some major AI player(s) with it (Oracle/OpenAI/Whatever). Ultimately I think it won't be THAT bad, possibly just some shorter bear market, but we shall see.

Either way my strat is to stay in semis/S&P/maybe buy gold and just rotate out of semis once time arises.

I myself remain highly bullish on AI in the short and medium term, if only because that's where all the hedgies, corpos, AND governments are putting all their money. Long term, I'm incredible bearish. It doesn't do anything new, and it isn't much faster or cheaper than just having an intern do whatever task. It also doesn't do anything to help, and may only exacerbate, the broad 21st-century enshittening crisis.

I failed against FOMO and bought 15% BAM.
Am I over?
Its basically a fund company for big players like pension funds.
It invests other peoples money and earns fees, like blackrock.
Its asset-light, with 4.2% divvies,
and its debt to equity is 27%.
All of its debts are non-recourse debts, meaning if their smaller business parts fail they can just hand the business which they invested in with other peoples money and walk away without paying from their other assets.
The company has Howard Marks, one of hidden Warren Buffett level investors(and Buffett himself said he always reads Marks' texts when he publishes them) who earned like 19% mainly with BONDS,
predicting Japanese crash, dot com crash and lehman crisis, tariff bottom, always slurping the bottom.
He is basically opposite of bag holder and has very good sense of risk.
The company seems solid. Shoud I invest more?

All of those sound nice.
A smart chad I vaguely know who runs funds invests in mercado libre too.

Yeah, I'm thinking HGRAF is back. I think we're going to find out BMW and Rolls Royce are their big automotive customers in the next several weeks, going into the redomicile and uplisting.

What's happening is ridiculous. I have had my annual winnings pared down to a third over the past month, simply due to markets nerves and wars and rumors of wars and Hanguk hyperleveraging, and now a goddam chink chip manufacturer going public that can't even compete in HBM. None of this affects the bottom line, but in this environment fundamentals don't even matter. I'm an investor, not a gambler. Until I see some signs of slow steady appreciation again instead of wild double-digit daily swings, I'm out.

MU to 820.
I don't see how it avoids coming down to the neckline. If it closes under 924 you lose the 50 day simple moving average and you lose a lot of institutional support at that level.

Apparently it was over the CXMT IPO demanding twice the money in fund raising? OK? Why don't people just fuck off and fund it? Bye?
I told you to short MU at $1000, btw.

I actually did.

it has nothing to do with chinese dram/hbm
google is very close to finding some model which almost doesnt need high speed memory

Bro, what cryptid is this? Can we fuck it?

All of that shit is irrelevant btw to Micron and many other hardware companies who have long-term "take or pay" contracts locked in. But the market doesn't care about fundamentals and has decided to price in what will happen 5+ years from now

CXMT. They started making DRAMs almost equal to sammy according to them, although it can be a shill.
CHNgov is investing massive amounts into chips as they are trying to win against US.
They have structural tailwind, and they will mass produce everyhing with help of government bennies.
And after they devour DRAM market, they will try making HBM which sammy and hynix, micron makes and HBC/PIM? thing which is sammy and qualcoms new tech.

No, they aren't. And their proprietary hardware still needs memory.
There's lots of technical trades on right now, including Burry's against it, memory and semis in general. A little bad news is amplified right now by the technicals.

The new Tensor v12 Google chips store all the model weights in a KMB diaper since it can hold 30x it's own weight. It's more efficient than anything MU can pump out.

this might be a dumb question but if i wanted to invest in some ham, am i allowed to go to the deli counter and ask for a specific number of slices rather than a weight?
