Lol, lmao even. I have stayed mostly cash since people were yelling to buy the "dip" on SOXL since the high 200s. Pray tell why this is the bottom? Surely you are 100% invested by now what with all the delicious dips you've had, let's see here
>dip to 230, market open was a great buy right?
>pumped but dumped back to 230, guess thats another dip for you lot
>210s the next, another fantastical dip to buy
>pumped but then dumped in 2 days, 210s again, may as well slurp it up right?
>floor breaches the next day, 190s, slurrrrrppppp
>pump to 270s next day celebrations all around, soxl 400 eom!!!!!
>dumps the next day to 210s, just a breather right, may as well slrup some kore what with the confidence after that 270
>dumps to 160s, another slurperrino
>2 days later the floor breaks to 150s, guess you'll buy again
>floor breaks again, 140s.....you do still have cash right?
>after market floor breaks again, 120s......you okay anon
If you slurpers are to be believed you are already 100% in right? Post folio, why should I risk buying with my mostly cash portfolio since the peak. Why should I trust you when if I had trusted all the other slurpers Id be down hard?

Eh this one isn't true. Every week there's more announcements of new datacenters, deals, or AI breakthroughs being made. It still dominates the news cycle and has the attention of the US top brass especially in dealings with China.

Now whether that's bullish or bearish is another topic.

Tim Ferris had some stuffy economist on his podcast to talk AI, great listen as its not a tech or finance bro. Trying to figure the best AI play. I know that sounds late but all the huge gains has been picks and shovels. Im thinking AI AI will get very interesting. Bunch of university professors using them to solve 60 year unsolved math problems over the past 3 months.
CROs, AI will flood the market and testing will be in high demand. I think thsts the next bottle neck.
Chinese robots, Ive lost 200k, absolute disaster but stocks are cheap...
Ultimately hoping for a dip so I can leverage up. This time I got enough I can just let 40% ride for years. TQQQ started at 28 cents, hit 85 dollars. I uhhh uhhhhhhh semis? Its about one of the few things that interested me solely because I find that stuff interesting. I dont actually delve all that deep into the specifics of it but that sector is one of very few that gets my interests. There is also space but I got btfo'd. I should've known the market isn't actually all that accurate at pricing things. So many multibaggers missed out on what with the market deciding space stocks were worthless and dumping them years ago, only for my belief to be vindicated a few years later. Had I bought and held that stuff I'd have made a lot, assuming prices from earlier this year before the spacex dump. I also used to want spacex shares badly. Only for spacex to ipo to an overpriced level that just turned me off from being a serious holder.

I've noticed it as well, they seem so damn terrified of letting a recession occur. Why? It's just a recession. Yet here we get Biden changing the rules claiming that wasn't a recession a few years back. The desperation to avoid a recession no matter what is what makes things all so sus. Why are they so scared of letting a recession happen? Is it because baby boomers are retiring and they want everything to go pleasantly for the next 20-30 years of retirement? Idk why they're so terrified. It's all so odd.

The fact Anthropic or Open AI (I forgot) pushed off their IPO says a lot. They saw what happened to SpaceX value. They know their stock will dump because they were probably going to overvalue it from the start. You would not need to worry about your stock dumping on IPO if you were pricing it fairly. Yet there is Musk with SpaceX at 1.8 trillion when it should have been 300 billion at most.

And then the stupid HR whores applauding me for getting a degree, while almost always ignoring me for anything that pays well. But woah here comes Stacey who goes right into a management position overseeing a bunch of programmers, she has 0 experience in anything, thus even someone with a degree like hers but has cashiering experience should have greaters odds....yet no interview just a "we found candidates more closely alogbed to the job for an interview, but please apply again the future <3" ahh yes stacey and her no work experience ever life

....I should sleep now. Fuck this is going to suck but its time to just be a wagecuck, go 100% cash, and if another crash ever happens in my life, all in and hope I get rich. I cant keep going anymore, I cant just sit here and wait for another crash and instead its 10 years of a slowy bearish trend with no pumps. I'll be too old, I have failed by that point. Yes I've read all the reddit advice posted by indians on twitter.
>cyclical
Oh but they make such excuses when you point out nvidia is also supposed to be cyclical.

>>62492359
>sensible assumptions
You mean like the ones with the locked in revenue from contracts or is this the constant "the revenue stream doesn't count because it btfos the bearish thesis".

And so it goes around in circles.

"peak cycle" would indicate there's not room to run. low forward pe indicates there's no end in sight

I don't trade on pe ratios that's just what they mean

>Chinese robots
I assume you mean the humanoid ones. I'm not convinced these will ever be cheaper/as versatile as just paying a grunt 20 bucks an hour to work the floor of the warehouse. Robotics has always been about specialization and they're also always bolted to some sort of fixture/tethered by a cable for power. The batteries on these humanoid robots have to be so fucking hueg to last any substantial amount of time.
Seems like a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

All the dumbest people I know IRL FOMO'ed their life savings into the top after previously sitting out the whole time.

or they have an insane charge rate, which china has the tech for in their EV cars

and for some reason the US refuses to put that same tech in their EV cars ontop of banning chinese cars

whatever cash printing capacity they currently posses + coming online soonish is going to be in full use for the foreseeable future is a sensible assumption. even if ai data center boom takes a hit there still is a huge bottled up demand for all the non ai use cases

And another thing, it's all indians on twitter calling for a crash. Are indians really going to be right? Everything is now massively oversold, but technicals don't matter at all apparently when it's bad for indian bears huh?

>>62492384
it doesn't matter, they've decided to crash it because fuck the average people. patriots in command, bomb iran because nukes or something.
>>
>>62492403
And they don't understand semis and memory shit are the textbook examples of cyclicals. Covid zoomers I swear.

DRAM IS FUCKING FLATLINING
>>
>>62492395
It's really gay how arbitrary the US is over industries it chooses to be protectionist of. We can't have Chinese cars, we're just gonna make them all in Mexico instead. Like that's any better. Now all chips are made in the powder keg that is Taiwan because the us never thought to protect one of the most important modern commodities.
Labor price isn't even the main issue anymore we just don't know how to make anything over here anymore.
Are these fast charging batteries for these EVs actually a real thing? Every time I see something about some battery breakthrough it ends up being fake and gay so I stopped caring.

I only put in half of my portfolio, so I'm only half as dumb! But really, I put in money due to looking at fundamentals and seeing how they keep strengthening, so while I don't expect parabolic returns, I did expect chips to outperform S&P in the shorter term. I understand the supposed cyclicality, but so far every indication I've seen seems to point to capex only increasing with noticeable supply coming in like 2028 the earliest, so with markets being forward looking like 1-2 years in the future, the next 2 quarters should be still pumping or mostly choppy at worst.

Not sure exactly what's going on yet, that's why I'm bagholding for now. I'll probably get burned and lose quite a bit, but it's kind of hard to sell when the only reason to sell is the current price action that may just be triggered by profit taking, geopolitics, healthy correction and degenerates getting liquidated instead of the fundamentals.
