Agreed. You can nitpick "lower class" but you're part of a group that doesn't really matter. There's kind of some general social interest in the aggregate consumption habits and behaviors of the group but individuals don't really matter in a grand sense. The upper part of this group will have a house with some guy who mows the lawn and drive a mediocre BMW and eat at the local sloppa steak house like it's some big deal, take vacations in Vegas or Miami or whatever but no one cares.
