What is the most retarded thing you've ever spent money on?
>>
>>62497737
once you understand money has no value it becomes impossible to waste it
>>
>>62497737
30k in some crypto leverage position where I lost all my money.
>>
>>62497737
whats happening here??
>>
>>62497781
Fighting over fans in Europe.
>>
>>62497737
10x leverage. Didn't put in much. Made 1,5k at first then I lost that and 2,5k more.
>>
>>62497781
Adults fighting over Pokemon cards. Many such cases.

As a teenager one time I bought an expensive polo shirt, it was like $60, complete waste of money and I knew that, bought it for a silly reason.
>>
>>62497737
I think i spent like 100k on weed
>>
>>62497839
I want to buy white pure linen shirts for hot summers, they are expensive. But my excuse is that I would use those for long summer walks.
>>
>>62497853

I bought one, they are expensive but S tier for comfort.
>>
>>62497853
Expensive? Where I live you can get them for the price of regular shirts
>>
>>62497839
Why is that a waste of $?
>>
>>62497873
It was just a t-shirt, served no special purpose, there was no reason to buy it, it wasn't a good decision given my teenager budget, it was a pure waste of tens of $.
>>
>>62497885
Sounds like a good use of budget to me. I look at the cheap clothes I have and think how cheaper clothes are a waste of money and only buy luxury now.
>>
>>62497885
Cheap clothes are a waste of money. You will realize when you are older.
>>

When I was 13 crypto was supercycling around 2021, I begged my dad to make a binance account. Put all 200$ of my birthday money into dogecoin, Peaked at 300 and then crashed, I "cashed out" at 100. Haven't "invested" in crypto since

>>62497885

Nah OP is correct. If you're a complete poorfag $60 means a lot to you. But the marginal comfort or appearance boost is generally negligible to zero.

>>62497894
It is worth getting clothes that fit you well. A random $60 polo probably isn't doing that though and you're largely paying for the logo.

A woman. She could have won the retard championships in all continents.
And I am twice the retard for having rewarded her.
>>
>>62497788
Nah, these people have winter clothes on and look North American by clothes style

Honestly, probably my car because I financed it. But, you know what, I've had it about a year now and am really enjoying it and would probably make that same decision again because I've never really treated myself and have always driven broken down shitboxes. Plus I have no other debt anyway, such as goy credit cards.

I spent $18,000 on a racecar
I can only drive it on racetracks and I have to tow it there
Realistically I might be able to drive it a dozen times a year
The tires for it last like 12 days but if you want to really be competitive at the top you'll be buying a new set every weekend, and each one is over $200 (this is actually considered pretty cheap as far as race tires go)

Japanese man goes to Costco to buy limited stock product for his daughter. MAGA hillbilly steals it out of his hands and elbows him in the face when the Japanese man demands it back. Japanese daughter standing to his left is stunned by the absolute state of America. It is not the cool awesome place she learned about on NHK.

In 2015, I bought a Razer laptop with NVidia gpu for $3000. I should have just bought $3000 in NVDA and waited.

Holy fuck what were they thinking with that rear valance. Proportions look goofy with the exhaust pipes

An expensive engagement ring, for me at least. My wife said I shouldn't have. She likes it and wears it, but she wishes I would have just got something cheap. Can pass it down as an heirloom I guess.

I think it's just the angle, in real life it's a little more flat
>>
>>62498196
What kind of racecar?
>>
a car. I learned to drive late in life because I didn't have money for a car early, and now I don't really need it but I have no use for it. plus I already crashed it. only good thing about this whole mess is that I didn't buy it new.

There is overthinking and then there is quantum underflow hyperanalyzation like this anon. Hes gone so far that he no longer sees money as that thing you use to pay for goods and services.
He is now agonizing at every penny he didnt pick up off the street and then 10× into lifechanging money.
He regrets not opening his first brokerage account at age 5.
He has thought about fasting not for the health benefits, but the 20 dollars per day hed roughly save by just not eating.
He has been using the same roll of paper towels for 20 years. Just dry the rolls out and reuse.
He owns a single pair of clothes: a business suit he inherited from his dad. It doesn't even fit.
There is not enough money to contain the overwhelming, gnawing, gnashing gaping black hole of avarice that exists in his heart. No. He will not be satisfied until every dollar that exists is in his possession.

I made shitloads of money on Trump's coin. Then MELANIA was released and I lost 95% of those profits when I tried to convert my TRUMP due to some bullshit with a Solana DEX. I got full tilted and converted $70k of some other underperforming coins I had to a shitcoin called BULLY because I figured it would take off soon but that eventually went to ZERO. The sequence of events is hilariously retarded when I look back at it but greed is blinding. It's a tiny portion of my net worth though so I was fine.
