If you are so far away from realistically mailing it realistically it makes more sense to do extreme risk on all endeavours because even if you lose you wouldn't have made it anyway
If everything fails just an hero later in life
I am slowly reaching that spot

>If everything fails just an hero later in life
That was my approach. Didn't make it. Didn't an hero either, but should've.
>>
Define making it. I make 700k a year and live practically hand to mouth due to location and lifestyle.

If you can live without being distraught physically and mentally (indefinitely) you have made it

>>62498873
Auto

Unless you are 70 your nail in the coffin is not final yet
>>
>>62499034
Would you say that making it past 60 is even making it?
>>
>>62499061
If you have lived good up until then and can afford to live a good lifestyle after that
You have effectively made it
If your mental state is at peace and you don't feel anguish and pain non stop you have made it
Lambos private planes an yachts is not making it
>>
>>62499154
>making it was the happy we made along the way
Ok boomer
>>
>>62499156
Having enough money and mental peace is the whole definition of making it
That's the reason you get rich
>>
>>62499161
Ok boomer
>>
>>62499175
By your first post in this thread you have to be a boomer. So why are you screeching at your peers ITT who actually lived a better life compared to your failure ass? You can still an hero.
>>
>>62499178
Trouble reading and you need things explained to you?
>>
>>62499175
I'm a milennial but it seems you misunderstood
>>
>>62498581
you should be building good habits, skills and discipline. nothing is wrong with risk, but know your odds and have an exit strategy ready so you can survive until the next opportunity as well.

but if you do an hero remember to take out the bastards who rigged this shitty system
>>
It nakes more sense to get a job.

when i was 19 i thought the same and quit uni, i didnt think i would make it to 30 but now im 30 with no degree...
>>

Come back when you are 200
>>
>>62501346
im pushing 40 and went back t finish my hs and im stll not done and not qualified to enter uni
i am still demoralized and realizing thngs are just gettng worse

>>62501312
>you should be building good habits, skills and discipline
i am naturally lazy and studynig actual high iq shit takes too much effort for a midwit not made for ths sht
ths nly demoralizes me int never achieving shit
"just skillmaxx bro!" "disicplin maxx!"
ths means nothing if you are retared and donot know what to do or apply yourself, its jsut a waste of time
retarded people (me) cant do shit oro understand how the system work, nothng works ever, the system is against one self in all regards
its just non stop demoralizatn
u unduerstand when your entre life has been 0 wins forever and never stopping
shit is real, it gets tring after a awhile
>>
>>62501048
It seems like we have two completely different reasons to make it, and different definitions. I want money to do shit, start various projects, do some research, do shit you can't do without money.
Making it so you're comfy and happy and living a peaceful, stress free life - I'm not interested in that.

humans evolved to be lazy
its only in the recent thousand years with the rise of organized christcuckery that the whole "hard work" goycattle slave mentality took hold
humans evolved to make things like traps to catch game so they could conserve energy and get food without having to spend a massive amount of calories chasing their food

Now that we're here, so far away
all the struggle we thought was in vain
and all the mistakes, one life contained
they all finally start to go away

When a man has problems he’s supposed to take increasingly daring actions until either his problems or his life end.
That’s not about money, it’s who people are.

In the modern world tho everything’s upside down. If you show desperation the ghouls are waiting to catch you
>>
>>62498581
There’s a guy on YouTube called Derek that dumped 140k into MSTU at the top. He’s completely broken and a slave to his mortgage and student loans for chiropractor school at 40 with a wife and 2 kids

Broad indexes idc. I’ll live like a pauper on 22k/yr and invest the rest. I like to sleep at night

it doesn't make sense to put all your eggs in one basket. but it makes sense to put your eggs in many highly risk-on baskets. 100x power plays, each with % of your port
>>
>>62505791
discipline isnt like the movies, you dont wake up at 4am, drink raw eggs and go out for a jog every morning. doing the bare minimum is discipline too. I am more fit than 99% of my peers but I probably spend 30 minutes a week total exercising. when I read a book to learn about finance sometimes it takes me a month because one page a day is all I can manage. the point is to get in a habit of always working on something.

Risk to mail packages seems dumb, where do you live? Alaska?
