It was posted yesterday by Grayscale and the JPM settlement which was the first settlement of a tokenized treasury in history, which the XRPL was chosen for happened like a few weeks ago.

>Settled on the XRPL
Settled on the Mastercard Multi-Token Network, actually.

This whole experiment is about showing how traditional settlement rails can connect to public and private blockchains.
XRPL was just used as an example of a public blockchain, and all they did was transact a token on there.

5 seconds for a transaction. 17,000 transactions a day. My corner Circle-K probably does that. Truly the future of finance.

I love how cripples think partnerships mean anything. This is how you can tell most are blue collar or have no real business experience at that level

Try reading the sentence you skipped over just before the one you highlighted. Your followup summary is literally exactly describing my claim. The cash arm was settled in fiat while the US Treasury arm was tokenized and settled on the XRPL.That is the ENTIRE point of the project; to connect tradfi cash with blockchain tokenized rails, particularly US Treasuries, the collateral backbone of the global economy. First time this has happened using any blockchain and they chose the XRPL and Ripple for the crypto arm. I don't know what you think you are correcting here but you are just petulantly learning about the dual nature of cross-network settlement and then restating exactly my claim presuming what you learned is a rebuff when it is literally my whole claim and statement of what happened. Lol What are you even suggesting? That both arms happened onchain? How insanely stupid can you be? Worth noting ONDO and Mastercard are both partnering with Ripple for fiat onboarding also though through RLUSD, ONDO being the second largest tokenized fund on the XRPL after RLUSD with a stablecoin transfer volume of over $5B.

The news is literally a description of use in a test case. You are a linkie coping through projection as usual. Just like the DTCC launch amounting to NOTHING for link value, which led to much cope and gnashing of teeth and after 2 years of link posts the insanely insufferable projection that XRP people had been even talking about it as related to XRP until linkies started spamming our shit a week before launch realizing the marketing grift was about to expose them when nothing happened.
>>
>>62516182
XRPL using ILP's payment channels and batching can scale to trillions (hardware limit) of micropayment transactions per second. TPS is not the limiting factor you think it is and ILP was created at the request of banks for exactly this reason.
>>
>>62516182
>>62516415
It is true however that link's CCIP (which is MUCH slower and more expensive than XRPL and always will be inescapably) earns less in revenue per day than a random corner Circle K in any random small to midsized US city on any given relatively slow day.
>>
>>62516419
Rent free
XRP=gas station
LINK=global institutions
>>
>>62516451
Argument avoidant linkie cope. Again, CCIP literally generates less than a single random small town gas station's revenue and it is and will always be slower and more expensive than settling a payment using the XRPL and ILP.

>Try reading the sentence you skipped over just before the one you highlighted.
It describes using XRPL to transact a token, like I said.
And then the actual settlement for this transaction was done on the Mastercard Multi-Token Network.

Not that hard to understand.
>>
>>62516532
This is as semantically retarded as the faggot in this thread >>62508427 claiming that node operators having a reason they would choose to operate a network despite having no operator rewards being the same thing as operators receiving direct reward for their operation. You don't understand how settlement works or what it means or that there is more than one network and asset being settled, which (there being two assets/networks) was the WHOLE POINT of the arrangement, which is why you invested in link. Lol The fiat arm settled on Mastercard's network and the crypto arm settled on the XRPL. Insane level of self-own and you don't even know it. Not only did you not understand what settlement was; you failed to understand it after having it explained to you as a simple concept. Really, REALLY embarrassing. Stinkies gonna stink.

>>62516575
What happened on the XRPL was a token transaction. My screenshot literally says: "tokenized asset issued on the XRPL".

The "associated settlement" for this token transaction happened in actual fiat, on "interbank settlement rails".

This is all literally in my screenshot.
