Hold me, bros….

Discuss picrel.

I hate being bottom 90%. The gap between the top 1% and bottom 90% is huge and keeps growing.

Thing is, everyone including themselves and their parents and grandparents had 100 years to get rich

This means if you’re not rich today, you failed during the most prosperous times ever in history.

This will lead to communism at the very least and a violent revolution at worst. Either way, things are about to get so much worse and there’s no easy fix. Elites won’t just voluntarily rollover and die
>>
>>62503241
>the setup for this outcome took less than a year
Things will continue to deteriorate at an ever accelerating clip because of retarded partisans like this
>>

Okay is this in MONEY or ASSETS?

Because every thread we have this same fucking discussion: They don't own money, their companies own assets. These are holding firms holding 90% of smaller companies.

And yes, this is a huge fucking problem. We have laws on the books to prevent massive monopolies and oligarchies or trusts forming, they're just not enforced and nobody gives a shit. It's not the same as 1% owning 90% of wealth. It's more like "1% of holding firms get 90% of customers" which changes the problem significantly. It's not like Rich Uncle Pennybags is an actual person who owns all this stuff. He's the CEO of a company who owns holding companies that own all of this stuff.

>>62503247
If you're not rich today, you probably weren't born during the most prosperous times in history.
>>
>>62503316
Brazil and other south American shit holes have worse wealth gaps and they are still fine. Trust me, it can get a lot worse for the bottom 90% and everything will still be fine.
>>
>>62503330
> If you're not rich today, you probably weren't born during the most prosperous times in history.
What? So that means the whole family failed even having 100 years during the most prosperous times? You’re dumb.
>>
>>62503190
Lmao cry harder, kid. The top 1% actually built the companies and tech you glue yourself to. You had the same 100 years of peace and prosperity, plus internet and everything handed to you. Most of you bottom 90 types just blew it all on DoorDash and Funko Pops instead of working hard or stacking anything.
Maybe you just aren't that competitive. Bunch of lazy zoomers seething instead of doing. Pathetic.

My dad had to share school shoes with his 3 brothers, my mom didn't have bedding just an old army coat to sleep under, both lived in the slums after WW2 where it was factory work or no work. There was almost no way to escape where you were and move up the chain.
You and many others grossly mistake how things were because your only reference is the modern world and you look back at the past with that lens.
>>
>>62503375
Ww2 ended in the 1945ish and 1950 fully.
From then till now is 80 years of massive prosperity.
>>62503352
Shut it.
>>
>>62503401
From then till now is baiting one of the biggest multi generational bait and switch traps in history in the form of "prosperity" fueled by fiat currency
And we all fell for it (just like we will again)
>>
>>62503522
No. Tons of people built wealth these past 100 years.
>>
>>62503190
In an ideal society, how much wealth one is able to accumulate should directly reflect how much worth they have contributed to society. The most basic fundamental problem with capitalism is that it obviously fails to do that. There is no way 1% of the population can out-work 90%. It's just obviously and plainly impossible. Therefore it's obvious that wealth and one's worth to society are disconnected under the current system. It's because we've built our entire society around the concept of usury, AKA charging interest for loans. Usury is a sin precisely because it allows for a wealthy person to profit at the expense of someone less fortunate.

It was always a mistake to build our society around a sin. Look at what it has gotten us. The ones most successful in life get there by exploiting others. They command thousands of people like slaves and do no actual work themselves. They engage in every sort of fraud and corruption imaginable to man. They rape kids with impunity and still rule over us after we found out.

Bro, speaking of shoes, I just cleaned my shoe closet out and I have 3 dress shoe. Relativly cheap, mid and pricier. Nothing luxurious but the quality in each 3 were very different. The cheap one was an $80 dollar pair of Calvin Kleins, the mid were a pair of Clarks and the expensive were a pair of Ecco. You can visually see the difference in quality. My mid ones were my commonly worn ones and I knew and felt they were high quality but when I pulled out the Eccos, holy, the difference in quality was unreal. I always knew the CKs were cheap though.

There's no idea society, retard. This is the only one we've got but instead of accepting that, you and your mentally ill ilk of delusional leftists would rather dream about pies in the sky. Says more about you than it does society.

I'll be turning 70 next year and I'm rich as fuck, but it took grinding and saving for 50 years. No family to steal it either.

That 1 in 10 millionaires is not 'liquid" wealth, it is wealth in property primarily and the share market.

This has been true at every point in history irrespective of “capitalism” or any other ideology.
