is not to play.>perpetual uncontrolled inflation>housing and food continue to get more expensive with each passing month>companies heaping on more work responsibilities for the same pay>infinite money printing to bail out (((wall street insiders)))>let the goyim deal in the real worldENOUGH. The antidote to this Hebraic financial oppression is to opt out of wageslavery and the "economy" at large. Your ancestors lived by building their own housing, growing their own food, and weaving their own clothing, and achieving economic self-sufficiency has never been easier thanks to modern technology. Gone are the days when self-sufficiency required lots of land a life of backbreaking labor. With state of the art high intensity greenhouse agriculture, you can grow enough food to sustain a family of four in the same land footprint as large backyard, and it's cheap too. Fully equipped stretched poly film greenhouses to support a family's high intensity subsistence farming can be had for less than $2k total. The greenhouse increases yields and eliminates weeds and pests, so you only have to worry about planting and harvesting, which is hardly any effort. If you're not dependent on civilization for food or electricity, you can get rural land for as cheap as $1k an acre in the United States. If you want to be within driving distance of civilization, you still only need to pay $10-15k an acre. Inexpensive building methods like rammed earth construction can allow you to build your off-grid homestead for minimal cost. Solar panels and wind turbines allow you to generate your own electricity.Escaping the system has never been this easy.
ohhh boy i can't wait to become a subsistence farmer again, having to grow a pittance just to have 800 calories a day, fighting with neighbors over chickens and eggs, and when the tax man comes around to ask what I've been doing the last few years, I have to try paying him in hens.
>>62504358Only wagegoys who deal in the real world have to pay taxes. Self-sufficiency means that you can also collect gibs on the side while producing your own essentials. You can live an extremely comfortable off-grid life thanks to modern technology.
>>62504352>eating plantsu a turtle or something?
>>62504397You can also grow feed for fish, chickens, goats, and pigs, which is normally the primary cost behind raising livestock. If you're really feeling ambitious, you can raise cattle too. You can compost their waste to reduce the amount of fertilizer that you need for the crops, or even implement an aquaponics system where the fish fertilize the plants directly. All of this can be done at minimal cost.
If people start opting out of the inflationary wagie debt scam, the (((system))) collapses. Bump.

This is just more doomer postingWhy are we getting so many doomers did people blow up their accounts and are now coping?Lmao all you have to do is have money it’s easy

Already planning on doing this. Got 12 acres and regenerating the soil now. I don't plan on making money from it thougheverbeit. It's just for surviving collapse of the US and balkanization.
>>62504623> 1/4 acre will only feed 1/4th of a human being for one year if you are good. really good. good larp though
>>62505089>doesn't understand the concept of agricultural intensificationThe best greenhouses can produce 240 pounds of tomatoes each year per square yard. You use technology and advanced growing techniques to increase yields. Git gud.
With so many incels dropping out it's easier than ever to get rich
>>625050891 acre can feed multiple families if you're really good. 1 acre per person is if you really suck at what you're doing, and even that's fine. 1 acre isn't that expensive. Hell, you could just bulk buy rice ahead of time for the next 40 years, get some chickens and you're already like 60% there. Put some of your wagie savings in a HYSA and supplement your inability to properly farm. No need to make it an all or nothing proposition.
>>62504352I hope to do this with VA bennys
>>62504358Remember to keep your veggies at least 3 feet off the ground to avoid rabbits.
>>62504623Hey faggot, go look up how much land it takes to get an exemption, like TPZ or other shit. You don't even own any land to begin with because you opted out of the system. You don't even have any money to purchase land. You are squatting on someone else's private property most likely or you are fucking up a national Forrest. You're dream is busted. Better to explore the system in other means than to attempt to go without debt currency.
>>62504352This is true, the subsistence farmer is the biggest threat to the system. At least the skeptics can agree that building your own home is a good thing? Also, you can farm, build your own home, provide your own electricity and still be apart of the digital world. This gives you leverage to deal in the real world as you wish. All the haters must be larping incels.

>>62506931The entire point is that you own your own land and means of survival, and it's about as far removed from "own nothing and be happy" as you can possibly get. I will probably dig a bigger pond in back later this year as I know a guy and I can get a pretty large one dug for $2,500.It was only $1,300 for the two small ones.Let's see...I got about ten lbs of blackberries this year and they are still coming and I've located a wild blackberry stand out near the corner of the property that is huge. I'll tackle it next year because it's very thorny and wild.I grew about fifteen pumpkins so far, but they were small because I left for two weeks during a dry spell and they died off ahead of plumping nicely.I got about 200 radishes earlier in the year.I plant end of July for more melons and pumpkins that I'm about to do now.So in conclusion...KYS.

Basically free.We have an RV, another great idea because the cost is reasonable and affordable.I've been to about every island surrounding the US for high end vacations, staying at Ritz Carlton and places similar. My RV trips with my family to national and state parks are actually much better, more fun, and 1/20th the cost. You can even take an RV to Gulf Shores and places like that and I am telling you from experience, the beaches are just as nice. Water not as clear. You just aren't actually missing anything, not the things you think anyway.

>>62509293Uh, why do you need to not have money to live off the grid? God damn when did this board start having legit retards on it. Nvm i know when
Self sufficiency is nice but it requires a lot of planning and work. You can’t just plant 1000 seeds of each crop and expect to live off of it. You have to find ways to grow it, ways to preserve it, learn succession planting, plan for weather issues, greenhouse issues, etc. it’s not as simple as putting up a greenhouse and throwing down some seeds. You will have to learn how to be skilled in those things especially if you have a family. There are no days off with self sufficiency. It gets more complicated with livestock even.
>>62504352>hobomaxxingonly work for the money that you actually need to livedon't partake in status signalling consumerismearn less, pay virtually no taxesobviously don't sit on vast amounts of cash just let inflation eat at it but don't put your money in the stockmarket either. >>62509309Oh let me guess you’re gonna sell some of the shit you make in your homestead. Maybe even open a farmers market booth? Lmao good luck kiddo. Dumbass nigger faggot.
>>62509324>requires a lot of planning and workA lot less than you imagine I assure you.Starting from scratch is going to be very hard. But if you have some money and a job, you can get going immediately and roll it over year after year. There will never be a time where you can't grow ten cows on two acres for $10,000 profit every year.If you make $100,000/y. That's a 1/10 of your income replaced yearly and I guarantee you it doesn't take 36.5 full days of work to achieve it.You know they just walk around and eat grass and drink out of a hole in the ground right?Even at retail pricing. You can have calf cows delivered to your field for $1,500/each.Then they eat the grass for six months and they'll sell for $3,500 minimum right now.You can fence in two acres using your own hands for $5,000 in materials. Hell, I PAID to have two acres fenced in last year and it was $6,500 and I did no work at all.If you have any money at all, it's fairly easy to start a turn key operation like this. Then you stack them. The bottom line is to have a goal of PRODUCING enough to sustain yourself. You can trade the produce for money like anyone else that produces something.Large onions farmers are shit. But they PRODUCE, actually PRODUCE, something. Thusly being self sufficient. But if you just work somewhere, you aren't producing shit. You are being paid to produce for someone else. That can go away overnight.
>>62509411>Oh let me guess you’re gonna sell some of the shit you make in your homestead. This is literally what people do. kekIt's hilarious how the idea of actually producing a product that can be sold is so far fetched to people. lmao

Will check back in tonight, most wholesome and based thread on /biz/ I’ve seen in months aside from small business anons bi weekly posts. >>62509736There is no house. It was forested land until cleared. The process will take years. Establishing a permanent groundcover while not living there is kind of hard, but I am attempting to do clover. Some came up naturally from the seedbank, but not the species I want. Next phase is forbs and wildflowers. Then, fencing and orchard trees. Deer are probably the biggest problem with any kind of productive crop here.

>>62509775I will speak generally as I don't know your situation. You are doing the right thing now though. ANY amount of preparation and learning is a step in the right direction.I had a small garden and did starts in my little basement for years when I lived in the shithole of Peoria, IL.If you are really thinking of moving for it...I'd do a lot of research into what land is worth buying, I'd buy it in the south where the growing season is long, and I'd do it where grass grows without help.. Land is cheap in the south. A house with several acres can be well under $100,000.Now, that will be in an area that doesn't have many job prospects. I know because I've done the looking for a decade and am still looking because I'm still in IL and they are brutal with taxes.Chickens for eggs is the first stop. If you have even a little land, they cost basically no money at all. People will tell you they need feed. They don't if you have even an acre and in the south they'll be fine all winter too.Free eggs. Get a rooster, they'll hatch more.Ducks. The eggs are delicious and huge and they reproduce without you trying at all. One summer I had five, the next summer I had fifteen. Then you can start eating them. When you get somewhere and are settled. SOIL. I get tons and tons and tons of compost from the local dump where retards take their yard waste. Most cities that aren't shithole libtard zones let you have it for free because it builds up too much. Go to the brush dump. Keep taking good soil and buiding, NOT RAISED BEDS, HugelKulture beds, look them up. Massive output and it's just a pile of dirt and sticks that you layer over time and it gets better and better.Mine has horseradish, melons, radishes, tomatoes right now and it all grows without much effort and they hold moisture amazingly so you don't have to water unless a real drought comes in.Start fruit trees and berry bushes the very first chance you can. They take some time, but will produce for a long time.
>>62510010not similar at all you fucking retard.Try building a multistory building or overpass with rammed fucking earth, wakanda isnt real lol.like you seriously this stupid? holy shit lol.

this is the only true answer, i wish i realized this sooner. i already got decent land and chickens, i pretty much never buy eggs anymore. also i love greenery so this is just perfect for megotta save a bit to buy bigger animals but maybe i'll focus on getting a fully equipped greenhouse. any tips on where to start?
>>62510278Convince your wife in the way that women need convincing.Part of that might be proving how much you can do yourself by actually doing it in front of her.Sell the lifestyle and freedom.Sell that she doesn't have to go without this or that.If she can move and still make good money, and your money is so little compared to her, then you can almost surely make up your money with work around the "farm."I'd watch a lot of homesteading videos, not because every idea is good, but because some ideas will be good and perfect for you. You need exposed to as many ideas as possible. If I grow my operation a bit for instance, I plan to leave all the butchering and all such to someone else locally. If you raise 50 chickens, someone will buy them off you and do all the rest of the work. That's not much money, but the point of this stuff is that in as many little ways as possible, you save money/make money.Don't eat eggs? You're going to have to because otherwise the numbers stop working out very well.Quiche.So a cheesy ham quiche with onions, very good. This is a healthy meal for a family for $8 after the extra ingredients. It probably otherwise costs $40 to feed them at night. You might even be able to sell the 50 chickens for 15 processed chickens or something.KEY POINT: It's very hard doing it moving to a new place because you don't have any knowledge of who can do what for you and how you can work together.I lived in my community (barring school) my entire life. It's rather easy to rustle up help or partnerships or free shit.A talk with a local processor will let you know. He'll tell you what he'll buy and what deal can be made. Then you can do land and property improvement. Now, this means your wife puts up with a "shitty house" for awhile. But you RENOVATE and fix everything yourself because of your vast swathes of time you now have. This is a long term money maker, you can make a house worth $100,000 for $10,000 in parts and your hands.
>>62512316>where to start?Remember your timeline is longer than you might think on certain things.Prioritize easy to medium things, but long term you are keeping your eye on Facebook marketplace and Hibid.com for local estate sales and people getting rid of used stuff. My coop and quite a bit of my supplies were bought cheap locally off someone that wanted rid of them.We have two goats that WERE FREE. And someone tried to give us another recently because they knew we had two. I keep them for chewing up the weeds and didn't want anymore. But I could milk or slaughter them.My coop is an amazing coop, very cheap, I just had to be the one to move it.You'll need a truck. But point is that you do what you can cheap and fast and THE ENTIRE TIME your eye is open for easy opportunities that arise randomly locally.
>>62511123>they will lose everythingA cheap house you can fix yourself. Hint, don't let anyone inside or make it look real nice outside to start or they'll reassess. But if you can get low cost of living then you are getting pretty safe.If you are in debt, it's a bad deal. This type of thing is for people that KNOW they can do a lot of things. And that's really most men once they get their head out of their ass (not meaning you, just generally). You WILL be fixing the toilet yourself and painting the bedroom yourself and fixing the screen door yourself, etc.But when you have the time, you find it pays you BETTER than the contractor you'd otherwise paid gets.
This thread is a good and unexpected reminder that we should have all read Ralph Borsodi and acted accordingly.Remember, the surprise value of subsistence homesteading in the modern economy is that it provides leverage in the job market. If you can feed yourself without money, you are beholden to no employer.
>>62504352>whites shit all over your skies, release radiation in the air, and vomit arsenic all over your land>also glyphosphate everywhere>>50 million illegal immigrants did this
>>62513059>you are beholden to no employer. This is actually the most sinister (of the many) reasons for the pumping of the housing market and massive home loans. It keeps you locked in place with no options. No debt and a homestead and you call the shots. Simple as.
>>62509433Bitch niggers like him are so cucked by the fake and gay hyper financialized service economy in the US they dont understand the concept of actually producing something. You can just work.part time online and escalate to tier 2 a few days a week and be more than good.

Sell that she doesn't have to go without this or that.Yeah, it’s the cross I bear. Took years to deep scrub the indoctrination from the sulci of her brain but it’s what it took for me to have a white family. And my stress as of late hasn’t been great so that’s why I’m so anxious to make a decision and get started building since it’s gonna take years. Just torn between leaving extended family behind. Not an issue flying now but longer term I don’t see it being feasible with carbon credits if they even allow us peasants to fly. >If she can move and still make good money, and your money is so little compared to her, then you can almost surely make up your money with work around the "farm."She would need a hospital for employment or anesthesia outpatient. The remote situation is only if I were to do NP and telehealth, but I’d rather do holistic/naturopathic due to my morals and that isn’t really feasible remotely. My wife has the capability to make 450k which she did last year, but I’m not trying to pimp her out and prefer her home w kids. If I had land to work on I’d be more sane but the year with just my son I nearly lost my mind. So we’re lookin at reduced hour option. I mean she’s considering a per diem psying 225/hr while I’m bringing in 2500/week after taxes while working a travel assignment near our family. >I'd watch a lot of homesteading videos, not because every idea is good, but because some ideas will be good and perfect for you. In fact my whole Vision was that chickens were going to be the staple of my operations. I’ve already researched culling birds and feel it’s something I can do (upside down cone and carotids I figured), as well as boiling and plucking… the whole gamut. But I know that’s a lot of work and still need more research on the processing aspect. Whether I could build up enough to do what some of these homesteaders are doing and selling chicken breast for $20/lb I’m not sure. Also had a name for my chicken farm, the third roost. I’d need a turkey named Goebbles also. >You might even be able to sell the 50 chickens for 15 processed chickens or something.I have no idea what the barter market looks like but my issue with moving away is not having community, I just want 90% white and a couple other families I can lean on if shit really it’s the fan. This is a long term money maker, you can make a house worth $100,000 for $10,000 in parts and your hands. That’s the idea I’ve had in terms of renovating a shitty house over time and it being temporary. Just overwhelming when I have to learn everything on my own as many men do today due to fatherless families and with the talmudvision and lapse of passing knowledge down through generations. Not to mention having 2 children to raise at the same time and a wife who can feel “lonely” pursuing this lifestyle but I know that can improve if I’m less stressed. I’m leaning toward looking for less acreage closer to family at the moment. Maybe 2 acres of flat land would be enough for what I want to pursue. I’d like the option to get some sheep/goat/cattle for dairy, prob not goats cause I hate the taste of goat milk unfortunately, but getting 5 acres is a little too pricey in close enough proximity, not to mention the fucking zoning laws and restrictions. Also being higher elevation is more desirable and mountains, so they can’t just build a huge fuckin data center near me down the road. Douglas lake Tn looks like paradise desu, would trade off less land to have lake access so it’s a balance I guess. Thanks for the conversation anon
>>62513761>Also being higher elevation is more desirable and mountainskekI think we are literally the same person spread apart by 10 years. Keep trucking.I have an operation going, so I hate to move, but I want land somewhere like Northwest Arkansas. It's cheap land and it's above the "mud flood" zone and outside of the Madrid fault area.I'm a schizo that gets direction from the Ether (God, Valis, etc.) Higher elevation is 100% on my top requirements. ProTip: Overlay demographic maps with elevation maps in the south. My issue is that I'm stuck in IL unless I want to start all over.IL is shit. I'm hoping it collapses entirely though.

>>62513791I’m 37 next month. Feel like Ive run out of time and didn’t piece everything together until after I had my children. But I want it more than anything I’ve ever desired despite how difficult upturning my life is. Im of the belief my children wouldn’t have the opportunity to live off the land if they wanted to if I weren’t to get started now. There’s a high likelihood I get Waco’d at some point in that timeline, but I’d rather die with dignity being self sufficient and not consuming slop/poison. And Based regarding the operation. I’d literally offer free labor to learn a thing or two once I finish this assignment in the matrix. I just could really use a mentor but I know I am more than capable utilizing YouTube DIY vids. Maybe we grind for 6 months then go buy and settle. Up in the air. Random q, raw land remote ever consider to sit on and build later? I know need to be aware of restrictions/zoning laws and perc/soil test. Ideally road access with utilities or knowing I can drill a well where it isn’t going to cost an enormous sum of money. Miss Arizona but that’s a concern there. There’s other considerations obviously. And obviously road access is asking a lot, basically a build ready plot of land where most of the acreage is raw and doesn’t need tending to. I know it’s risky and prob already know the answer, just feel uncomfortable sitting on so much stinky fiat rn in our HYSA and I don’t feel comfortable adding to my PM pile til I had a bolted safe or places on my land to bury it. We’re on the same page with the weather and land future, Think Appalachia PA is safe?
>>62506903yes, definitely. you also can stick it into loose earth periodically to provides nutrients for vermiculture setups
>>62513952>raw land remote ever consider to sit on and build later? This is what I was thinking in NW Arkansas. But the land is probably shit. I have to do more recon really.
>>62504352You will never own a farm. You will never go off grid. You will never find a tradwife. You haven't done hard labor once in your life. You never used construction tools. You are a limp wristed little faggot living with mommy. You don't know what it feels like to own a small business, let alone managing your own food source. You have no idea what the logistics are or what is the ROI on a farm. You just watched some grifters on youtube that pose as wholesome homesteader while probably making bank from their online presence.
