They fail to mention that the revaluation scheme here involved changing their dinar from being composed of 100 fulus to 1,000 fulus. In other words, it's like saying the dollar got ten times stronger because every dollar is now a thousand pennies instead of 100 pennies, but everyone is still charging 1,000 pennies for a candy bar if that's 10 dollars or 1 of your new dollars.
