Similar, but I quit a well paying job. The office politics were considerably out of hand, and it was a monopoly of a niche service so there's nowhere to go. So I started a business, and it's afloat but hard, busy times. And super tight financially, but the brand is growing. Don't be down buddy. Remember that these hard economic times are cyclical. Your brain however is wired to begin projecting conditions out to infinity once you start closing in on a month. It's wrong, and you gotta consciously remind yourself that the playing field is mostly shit for everyone right now, and have faith the landscape will get better. In the meantime, keep trying for a leg up. Opportunity AND the playing field both reward the searchers, when there's good to be given.
