anyone else come to accept they're too stupid to be ever well off?
>>
>>62510835
I don't get it. It's like waking up and realizing you're not tall enough to play professional basketball. So what? Go find something else to be good at.

if you're dumb you should probably be helpful. Go see if your neighbors need some help. Go volunteer around the town to help. Spend some time racking up good boy points by picking up trash by the road or whatever. Be good at something that's not professional basketball, or the financial equivalent of pro basketball, getting rich.
>>
>>62510947
your example is inspiring but it's does not accurately represent my case. if you replace tall enough with not wealthy enough and playing basketball with living a decent life it would be more of what I'm trying to get across.

you're coping OP. plenty of tards out there living really kick ass lives
>>
>>62511013
you see that really dark part on lower left corner? I am not very intelligent but I'm pretty sure it means that's where the most people are, including me.
>>
>>62511019
i know you are saying you are dumb, so let me explain more. there are just as many genius making bank as retards.
>>
>>62510835
intelligence has little to do with it, unless you are like really dumb
>>
>>62511019
The ones that are above that mass of poor retardation are simply daring. They go out and roll the dice. No need to be a genius to start a business that for example installs windows and charges people up the ass for it. Simple physical work can be financially rewarding.
>>
>>62510979
well, as you said you're a bit dumb so you don't understand my analogy. An analogy means two different situations that are in some ways alike

what I was trying to tell you is that getting rich is just as hard as being a professional athlete

so you shouldn't feel bad that you can't do something so incredibly difficult. Almost nobody else can either.
>>
>>62511021
yeah but it's rarer for stupid people to be able to do that.

you know you can just go to med school and become a doctor or something if you are intelligent. road map is clear. and you can enumerate. you can become an engineer, and so on.

if you are dumb, how are you going to match that income? can you come up with a roadmap that does not involve lot of luck as easily?

>>62511028
I know blue collar worker people. none of them are well off. they are not in debt, but they can't retire for example. you consider working your whole life doin manual labor and still having to do it at the age 60 rewarding? beats being homeless I suppose.

>>62511033
something incredibly difficult being well off? I doubt intelligent people consider it to be a feat.

NO even though Im stupid, and every day I keep getting stupider, I might be lucky
and for all I know might be getting luckier every day
>>
>>62511049
>I doubt intelligent people consider it to be a feat.
then you've never met either intelligent or wealthy people.

protip, most intelligent people are broke
all wealthy people are extremely proud of the accomplishment
>>
laziness, not stupidity. Mostly because of how gay the system is. If I had been working diligently at cold stone creamery since 2015 I would have a bunch of money and creamed a bunch of teen coworkers and probably be the manager. But I turned that job down back then because lol 9 dollars an hour.

You don't conceptualize of how much money you've lost by being free and not putting up with a shitty job until you realize if you just grinded for a decade you'd be financially free, assuming you invested in the market.
>>
>>62510947
>Oy vey if you’re dumb goy just clean the local temple and wash the Rabbi’s car
>>
>>62511209
This is kind of my regret if I'd just grinded a basic bitch job 40-50k a year while living at my parents house I'd be able to retire by now probably. Not having to pay for rent or groceries is huge but instead I just got plat in OW what a waste and now I still have to do it, but just older. I did it backwards. I fucked up
>>
>>62511209
fast food often promotes people in a matter of weeks, not years. Probably one of the fastest tracks to high pay available.
>>
>>62510835
Yeah so I devoted myself to learning soccer again at 30 for no reason.. it’s all I cared about as a kid and would play 24/7 in the streets and now I’m gonna kick a soccer ball around forever even if I end up homeless I just don’t care..
>>
>>62510835
Yup
I'm a dumb stupid baggie wagie. Can't make a decent investment to save my life so I'm probably going to die working. Oh and I'll die alone too.
I'm numb to it.
>>
>>62511319
nah you will fairly quickly become incapable of work as your eyesight fails, your hearing goes silent, your joints and back give up, your mind loses the ability to concentrate, you lose the energy to keep moving, you become constantly exhausted, and you begin to develop diseases that take all your time and money

you probably imagine this is some dim distant future but it's actually a process that begins in the next few years and will render you completely unable to work sometime between the age of 40 and 60. For most people it's in the 50's.

If I didn't suffer from Paranoia and OCPD I would be rich.

I'm a top 7%er in the USA right now for my age bracket (33 years old), without owning any real estate. I'm extremely good at working, producing quality products/content and communicating with people. I'm also extremely good at budgeting and financing. But I also have actual OCPD that causes severe stress and a sort of perfectionism, along with an extreme fear of being robbed, murdered, or having my identity stolen, which severely hinders my accessibility to other people.

Actual IQ = 122 (last tested 9 years ago).

Big 5 OCEAN:
96th percentile openness, 98th percentile conscientiousness, 54th percentile extroversion, 2nd percentile agreeableness, 59th percentile neuroticism.
>>
>>62510835
I have a sneaking suspicious that I am too stupid to recognize that I am stupid. How do you guys know if you are smart or not?
>>
>>62512380
If you mean actual IQ, you need to take an actual professionally administered IQ test, not one online that takes 10 minutes.

If you mean just making good or bad life choices, just look at the beginning of your life and where you started off. See where you are now. Are you doing better than you were 5 years ago? Are you doing better than your parents? What choices did you make that lead to that answer and did you learn from it?

You can also have a few personality tests done by a psychologist. The Big 5/OCEAN test. It can help gauge how your personality is affecting your choices.

I guess whether you think someone is stupid or not is relative. A guy could have a 150 IQ, but be a total shut-in that never works or does anything, that just eats junk food all day and plays video games, that doesn't care about his health, or his finances. Likewise, you could have a guy with an 80 IQ, but he works hard, teaches himself how to budget, saves up money and takes care of his health. Whether you consider one, or the other stupid is your choice.
>>
>>62510835
It doesn't matter how smart you are. Making it requires something else, which we don't have.
>>
I’ve accepted that I’m dumb but I am well off thanks to nepotism so it doesn’t matter
>>
I will never be high income because I am midwit combined with crippling nostalgia and idle, so my investing actually means fuck all. Just120k after 7 years of being frugal and investing the rest.
>>
I have been trying to get a better job but the only offer I got so far is worse than my current job. This shit feels so humiliating.
>>
>>62512353
>no real estate

Yikes

I'll inherit my dad's country shack at least.
