There's literally millions upon millions of people who have retired with nothing who still get by and enjoy life

But you're stressing all the time trying to figure out how to retire with tens of millions of dollars

Its just weird desu, like, you got fully meme'd by the fear mongering bout retirement and will now stress for decades about an ending

my grandfather died at 90 recently and he had millions of dollars and did nothing with it, he lived on his state age pension, he never realised gains on his retirement account, it just sat there compounding on itself while he lived on his gov pension from age 65 to 90.

oh and you will probably be even more neurotic when ure old

you will hit 65 and retire, then be like omg i have $10M in the retirement fund, but if i hold it for another 7 years, it'll double again, and ill have $20M... yeah im gonna do that, im not touching it!

then say the same thing again

and before u know it u'll be dead and ur family will get it all via inheritance and then blow all of it in a couple of years

so you just inherited his millions, you don't know what to do with money either, so you're on here now. nice. you know honestly if i inherited millions, i wouldn't even think to come on here.

my parents, aunts and uncles did actually

in what world do grandkids inherit over the kids?

>There's literally millions upon millions of permanent underclass goyim who have retired with nothing who still get by and enjoy life

Both of my parents are broke. The only reason my dad still makes it is because he's 63 working 55 hours a week in a woodmill/factory. My mom is 69 and still a waiter at a local restaurant, but gets $930/mo in Social Security. She lives with me, and she hangs out with my two upper middle-class sisters that live in $550k homes with in-ground swimming pools.

Your parents splitting up changes it. Yes, if your split up, that makes it infinitely harder.

But there are plenty of boomer couples retired with 0 savings and 0 investments who get by on pensions.

The best part about being rich is not being broke.

>people who have retired with nothing who still get by and enjoy life

That's a cope. Fuckloads of seniors are basically eating dog food as they get by on whatever their shitty social security checks are(which will be especially shitty if they didn't work a lot or earn much).

If they had a lot of kids maybe one will be able to put them up, but if they didn't they're fucked. If you get to the point you need some sort of basic care you're totally hosed because Medicaid/Medicare is covering barely jack shit. You'll get a cot in basically prison conditions for 100 days and then you'll get dumped on the street.

If you're just going to kill yourself the moment it gets hard, ok I guess.

Most people are poor as shit and have no idea what the k shaped economy is. So many people think they are doing well until I tell them they are not.
>>
>>62514477
Can you give me the K-Shaped economy pill?
>>
>>62514210
I agree. If you have a paid off mortgage and car, a combined Social Security of let's say $2k or more, plus Medicare, basically covers everything you need.

>>62513739
>he had millions of dollars and did nothing with it
if you had money you'd realize that there's nothing worth to buy
>>
>with nothing
All those random shitskins have access to teen pussy

one in which your grandparents aren't retarded but it doesn't matter anymore.

It gets harder to survive every year in this economy. We won't even get state pensions because SSI is going insolvent soon and the goverment is too busy funding Isreali wars
Obsessing over making and saving money isn't neurotic, it's rational
>>
>>62514519
when I talk to people and ask them how they’re doing everybody just says they’re doing fine then I explain to them what the case shape economy is and how only 10% of people are doing well and better and the bottom 90% are doing worse than worse.
