>>62516823Those who go to Japan understand why this is
>>62516937trueI moved to Japan in July 2019 and lived there 5 yearsWhile all the world was locked down like cowardsI was traveling around Japan and being paid to do it by the Japanese governmentLibs still lose their minds when they hear thishttps://globalvoices.org/2020/07/29/as-covid-19-infections-surge-japan-launches-travel-subsidy-campaign/It was the "Go to travel" Japan campaignJapan subsidized travel within Japan with vouchers and discount hotel stays paid by the governmentIt was fucking great, I went everywhereI had to leave at the 5 year mark for tax reasons or I would have just stayed there foreverNow I visit 6 months every year as a Digital Nomad visa holderMy waifu tells me according to the numbers, I'm one of very few people using the program and possibly the only one using it every yearIt's like they made that just for me
>>62517072>My waifu tells me according to the numbers, I'm one of very few people using the program and possibly the only one using it every year>It's like they made that just for meThe digital nomad visa or the travel program? Is it still possible to go for the cheap travel? What other recommendations do you have?
>>62516686It turned to shit after the hordes of normie tourists flooded in after covid. Now the nips are sick and tired of tourists. Try to visit Taiwan before it goes the same way
>>62517072I think youre a liar
I wanted to visit Japan as the girls are cute and I heard they're very kind, but I would probably get mogged by some 6' dude or rejected for being ugly and spend all day walking around streets I can't pronounce. Or paying to go to a maid cafe and get beaten up when I ask for their numbers.
>>62518023Most gaijin dorks just pay to play. It's legal there
>>62517284Skill issue. Japan has many cities and Japanese people are only tired of tourists in 3 of them.Kyushu gets so few tourists that locals will buy you food and drinks to talk to you. One of the most beautiful parts of japan too
>>62517274Is you are American, look up zipair. If you book early enough, they charge $250-330 each way. If you dont have zipair near you, get a cheap frontier flight to San Francisco. SF has plenty of japan flights to Tokyo, Osaka, and Sapporo.Once you are in japan, everything except Tokyo hotels are cheap. The digital nomad visa is basically a tourist visa where it’s legal to work remotely. When i was last there I just worked remotely on a tourist visa which is technically illegal, but nobody cares on a short trip
