>With each day/week/month/year/ that passes, the bottom 90% falls farther behind

How do you reply without sounding mad?

these things have ways of working themselves out

They don’t, they are part of a permanent underclass but things still keep getting worse for them.

>Descartes and his followers performed experiments in which they nailed animals by their paws onto boards and cut them open to reveal their beating hearts. They burned, scalded, and mutilated animals in every conceivable manner. When the animals reacted as though they were suffering pain, Descartes dismissed the reaction as no different from the sound of a machine that was functioning improperly. A crying dog, Descartes maintained, is no different from a whining gear that needs oil.

There has been an underclass but now it is permanent because if you’re not in the upper arm of the k, you’re falling behind and in the bottom arm of the economy.

Just a little glimpse into the flexibility of society's values. BTW, you will have to sell your children to startup labs. Everyone will love the progress. It will be considered a civic duty and honor to help curing diseases. Baron's kids won't do that though, or in case "we get" communism, the committee members' kids will be exempt. No worries though, they will use pain killers, and the statistics will clearly show minimal risks.

Parallel economies, one for the bottom 90% and one for the top 10%. Huge gap between the two.

I reply by saying this is nothing new.
The capitalism that has existed since the early 20th century has always had a bottom 90% that supports the top 10%. Imperial nations exploit the people in their colonial holdings in order to prop up their domestic population. Prior to this the conditions of the workers in even the domestic population was pretty dire, and this created a ton of crises. Since the advent of the imperial machine, the domestic population can be pacified by satiation, and economic (and sometimes military) warfare can be used to keep the colonial holdings in check.
What we're at risk of seeing now is a return to the capitalism of the late 19th century and before, where we shift from the bottom 90% supporting the top 10% to the bottom 99% supporting the top 1%. The borders of nations will no longer represent the boundary of the haves and have nots.
There have been three ways this has resolved in the past. One, capitalism is able to reform or expand into a new growth market, stabilizing the wealth of the imperial core. Two, capitalism decays into fascism in order to use the terror of the state to keep the now oppressed masses under control. Three, the state's terror is insufficient to maintain control and revolutionary socialism becomes dominant.
>>62516992
Exactly. Given the above though, there's really only one outcome that guarantees the survival of the humanity in the face of climate change.

Fucking shit man, I stopped reading. That guy is fucking sadistic, wicked, and deserves to be tortured the same way he killed those poor animals. Disgusting piece of shit. I always find it so fucking odd how psychopaths like this are revered and yet all their wicked shit gets slid under the rug and ignored like they never did it even when you state it point blank. They just ignore and continue to revere such people. Shit this is sadistic and cruel.

I don’t understand why you think the underclass was ever *not* permanent. At what point in time was it impermanent?

The standard throughout history was 90% of people being slaves or serfs. Explain why the last century-plus deviation should be the new normal forever. Why should it be? On what basis would you assume such a thing?
>>
>>62518321
We don't need so much residential real estate once AI replaces the bottom 90%
>>
the actual problem that is always ignored is on the side of consumption - who is going to consume all the services or goods provided by AI/robots? I believe we are going to get some very basic (low) universal income to continue down the consumerist path, but not without a fight. Otherwise everything seems kind of pointless. How would you even define who belongs to the rich? Maybe I have a fully automated soap factory, but there is next to no goys needing my soaps, am I still with the cool guys? So in the end I forsee a form of UBI. It might not be just the rich who are paying up for this. Everyone who has their wealth invested in stocks/bonds will get taxed to death, but companies will be much more efficient with much higher margins as they will be ran by AI/robots. By the way the world "robot" (from slavic) comes from "ra/robota" (work), which comes from "ra/ob" (slave)

>ban tractors! life in tractocracy will be hell! what will we do if we can't rake a field 14h a day!?
I can't wait. All these dumbass law and medfags that cheated through their exams and earned 200k for using google all day will finally become obsolete.
>>
>>62520094
There will always be useful and useless people. And the main reason we didn't automate most manual labor yet is because lowlife thirdies are much cheaper than robots. Automation industry almost died in the 00's because everybody just went to China and let old women with tweezers assemble their tech products. Now the Chinese women are dying out and their zoomers don't pick up the shit jobs, so automation is growing again.

More innovation and progress is made when the 90% has more resources.
You’re asking the question like it deserves a quantified answer but it just doesn’t. It’s matters of opinion and morals.
I doubt our morals will align lol

If you weren't part of the top 10% in 2025, you're lower class
>>
The middle class, and by extension democracy, are extensions of the industrial era where the top 10% who create most of the wealth couldn’t easily relocate to avoid taxation. With increased automation, living standards will continue to improve for everyone. However, so will inequality. The top 10% (and especially the 1%) will be incredibly rich, the rest will live slightly better than today, though I don’t know how employment and home ownership will play out. Caveat, the abundance required to avoid riot is predicated on us stopping exploitation of new energy sources in the name of climate change.

>>62516981
If you are <1 mill net worth at this point, you are a subhuman who deserves to be culled. The older you are, the truer this is. You had endless opportunities with the early days of the internet, the post-2008 stock market, tech jobs, the advent of bitcoin and crypto, and most recently AI to make it, yet you are so retarded you couldn't capitalize on a single one of these opportunities. Poorfags deserve to die, there are too many people on earth anyway and all they do is fight. If the bottom 90% died today, we could have true peace and the world would immediately become a better place permanently.
