i hate to say it but all that hope i had from making it with crypto that still had throughout the last few bear markets is goneim back to the pre-crypto feeling of impending doom that i have no way to make it anymore and that it is over for mecrypto gave me a feeling of hope from 2017 but thats basically all gone now, most of the coins i bought made a all time high like 5-9 years ago and never came backi tried getting into memecoins because "thats what everyone does who is trying to make it now" but i got rugged left, right and center on all of thosebitcoin is too high for me to make it from that, and its been too high for me to make it for awhile from thati really do think its over for me again because the only new technology is AI, but the difference is everyone already bought into that, so there is not much upside left in that marketbrutal, i guess i die poor then, destitution, poverty, its over, i need a miracle from God to save me at this point

No one was really expected this lack of alt season but I'd argue crypto still serves it purpose. Look at something like hype. Its cleanly retained its value because people actually use it for its intended purpose.

Many such cases. In practice few people actually cashed out big amounts into dollars at the right time and then went on to live their lives being rich. Actual crypto "usage" is pretty niche and even if it gets adopted more widely in the future, it won't necessarily lead to current crypto holders seeing a large asset value increase off the back of that. Again, if you want this to be your hobby and hope to get lucky that's fine, but the feeling that anyone holding crypto will inevitably "make it" without needing to get very lucky was only valid in the very early years.
