Why does America reward investors far more than it rewards workers? It's a weird paradox because societies need lots of hard work in order to maintain themselves and all their system. Maintaining a system of laws and justice requires a lot of work. Maintaining a sewage system requires a lot of work. Maintaining ports and water ways requires a lot of work. However, workers are the most abused and lowest paid group of Americans. In contrast, investors make money simply off owning things. You can literally buy stock and just do nothing but sit on your ass holding for 5 years and make a handsome profit. The system we currently have does not incentivise work at all. Instead it incentives the lack of work because that yields the lowest reward.

>>62517709>corruptionNo, it's more than that. The system is working exactly as intended.
>why do investors focus on supporting, producing, and inventing new IRL things rather than run a weird charity that you can't write off with taxes
>>62517771>supporting, producing, and inventing new IRL thingsthis maybe accounts for 0.1% of economic activity
>>62517778that makes senseyou can keep that retarded assumption and post more shitty reddit threads on /biz/
>You need my rugpulls and bubble scams goyThe economy shits the bed every time new tech comes out because investors want to gamble on it often in ways that hamper it or hurt society.
>>62517704automation has been killing labor across the board. slowly and constantly throughout decades nowno one has a good solution so probably the end of labor arbitrage and seriously hampering the free movement of capital is coming. and higher taxes. the alternatives are far worse btw as history has shown multiple times.may god give the decisionmakers enough wisdom to frontrun these problems
>>62517840>god give the decisionmakers enough wisdom to frontrun these problemsFirst that sky fag doesn't exist. Secondly, lol at your hope. Thirdly never use policy makers and wisdom in the same sentence.
>>62517704you'll never make a living investing.what, you think it's as easy as buying some stocks and never working again?it's just that easy but workers are too stupid to invest even though they'd never have to work again??doesn't work like that, idiot. You're not a smart and special snowflake. You're not making a living off stocks.
>>62517704TL;DRThe shareholders sued Henry Ford and Won.Henry Ford decided his workers should make enough money to buy a Model T. The idea workers should afford the product they produce started here. Henry Ford would re-invest in the company to benefit of the employees. Once Ford Motor Company was publicly traded, the shareholders saw money they could be earning, as dividends, being "given" to employees. As bonuses, Health benefits, wage increase, etc. Eventually enough shareholders got together and sued the company on the basis that the shareholder is the most important part and the first to be payed. Been that way ever since.I really like Henry Ford and ALL his world views and philosophies.

>>62517704How profits are divided between labor and capital has mainly to do with negotiating power. At least in the US, labor has poor negotiating power relative to capital. This is due to factors such immigration, outsourcing, offshoring and weak/dysfunctional unions.
>>62517704and not enough money is going to the white men (people responsible for all productivity)
>>62517713It’s not though. Before 1970s and after the New Deal the workers experienced wages that steadily increased, at a higher rate than the elite did. They also had strong unions. Those things being killed off and fucked isn’t just how the system works, it’s merely been lopsided and workers are not getting any piece of the continued economic growth. This could change and it probably will, because there’s a breaking point.
>>62517704many workers are paid 80000 you are just low value op some people just are
