I stopped paying my credit cards, and other debt.
>>
people risk their lives robbing grocery stores over 100 bucks when they could debtmaxx and pocket thousands completely legally, why dont normies realize this?
>>
Why didnt you take massive amounts of money from the insane last 10 years of crypto? It was just money growing on trees. No need to have debt ever

Normies do realize this. Normies are the biggest carriers of credit card debt.

I was wondering the other day how many people are defaulting on debt right now.
>>
Op here. I make $70,000 a year. I have 6,000 dollars in credit card debt with 8 different cards, and $16,000 in student debt from my bachelors degree. I graduated in the summer of 2024. I don't care anymore. ;)

I swear other males cosigning this sentiment is like a form of intrasexual competition.

Debtless NEET mode is based, but leaving debt to compound is not. The anon saying this is good aren't helping you.
>>
>>62521902
You could solve this easily then. Are you retarded?
>>
>>62520639

big credit doesnt want you to know this but in many parts of the world you can bribe officials to produce a death certificate for you. You can rack up a ton of debit, travel to a foreign land, "have a tragic accident" and be debit free.
>>
>>62522713
Bribe them with the money you dont have because youre in massive debt?
>>
>>62522718
nah the smart play is to set aside some of the money you borrow specifically for bribes. Its cleaner that way. just like you should set aside some of the money for gambling. If you lose it, no big deal. But if you hit it big you can repay the debits if you want and retire
>>
>>62520662
Dear God, how come nobody has thought of this strategy before? Bless you, OP, we're all gonna get rich with this one trick the banks don't want us to know. What could possibly go wrong?

If you really want to know... after marking down their "file" on you, they can freeze your checking/savings/retirement accounts, seize property from you, and confiscate wages from your employer before you ever see them, following you around the country for the rest of your life, effectively making your life hell as they steal it all back. In a few states, they also have a kind of debtor's prison setup by exploiting contempt of court rules against those who don't pay, holding them in prison and collecting rent on their stay. I know this from firsthand experience
over someone else's debt, because they refused to give me a fair trial
.

Now if you have nothing to lose, and the bank is dumb enough to let you pile up $100k in debt you'll never repay, and have nothing for them to seize, that's kind of their problem. But for most people, the harm they'll inflict on you (take your car, home, paychecks, basically anything that isn't cash hidden under your bed) is more than what you'd get from an exit scam. Banks usually do eat a loss when writing off delinquent accounts, but you won't come out unscathed.

do a balance transfer through a debit card

I have over 100k credit card debt

Since debtor's prison was abolished in the 19th century, there are no real consequences.
>>
>>62520662
ex-gf tried this. Bank just took it from her salary and threatened to take her to court.

She was incredibly retarded. It was so little money that she could have spoke to me and I would have given it to her.

I broke up with her. I'm not gonna wait 6 years for her credit to clear.

Nothing to threaten. If they took her paycheck that means a court already ruled against her and ordered a wage garnishment.
>>62527140
>debtor’s prison
Technically those are illegal, but a number of places in the US still have them in practice. They usually exploit contempt of court powers as a loophole, in small municipalities that traditionally have less oversight. Defendant is ordered to pay some small debt, doesn’t have the money, gets held in contempt for disobeying, city charges daily fees for their stay in jail, then judge holds them in contempt for not paying that growing debt. It’s not everywhere, but it does happen, and is a very real terror to the destitute people who get caught in that lifelong trap.

I debtmaxxed 50k on ccs, bought gold, silver, btc and inventory for my business. Defaulted last year and my credit score is 501
