What stops you from saving up $300k in a HYSA, then living off $1k a month NEET mode? Looks like you can do it in SEA, Argentina, and Mexico. Maybe Japan if you push it to $2k a month with $600k total.

>>62523552Inflation.
>>62523552Is /biz/ as poor as this poorfag OP thinks it is?
>>62523613I think /biz/ is on average worth 5 figures and what I'm saying only applies to those worth 300k min, which is likely less than 10% of anons.
>>62523552I have 300k but plan on having kids and my own house. Probably getting married soon
Because it's precarious. You for whatever reason are forced spend some in an emergency and suddenly you can't afford rent or food, so start digging into your savings more
>>62523552literally what I am doing. I bring in roughly 2k after tax each month, total monthly spending is just 600€ because I live with my parents. going to inherit their property someday. I am 40 and I will probably never ever work again in my life. its a simple and humble life but at least I dont have to wageslave.
>>62523667yeah, this is more assuming us anons are 30+ that didn't luck out finding someone worth marrying and can afford living somewhere with good schools and communities etc.>>62523675I would at least have a nice buffer to build up a bit just to be safe. Maybe working something easy from time to time to build it up.>>62523691yeah same plan. I'm wfh 5 years now, but if I were to lose my job I'm going to SEA. I can't stand waging in an office. I'll see how high I can go before that time comes just to build a nice buffer.
