I've got no evidence of this theory but I'm guessing the administration from a century ago had everything calculated except for the increase of cost of living. So they thought, let's create a generation that will accumulate so much wealth and when they retire, they'll be able to bankroll their kids and help out their grandkids. I think the current administration is running the same playbook with the trump accounts. The numbers are hilarious, if a baby gets a fully funded trump account and rolls it into a Roth on their 18th birthday and continues contributions, they'll retire with 10s of millions of dollars.
