If history is any guide then the value for minority shareholders will be 0Some aggregate numbers suggests that banks are sitting at around 10% distressed debt with balance sheets that have more than doubled over the past couple of years. And then when you look at Russian government bond yields, the 4 cancelled auctions because no buyers, money market interest rate fluctuations and problems with even yuan liquidity. Systemic issue that will need systemic solutions.And the solution is high inflation, minority shareholders get wiped and government ends up owning the whole sector, people holding deposits in the banks get turned into long term bondholders.
