Is RV life worth it? Cost effective?
>>62539738RVs are boats except none of the owners care enough to maintain their purchase. boats sink when not maintained but RVs rot in place. you will constantly be fixing some retarded bullshit that would never go wrong had a sober white male done the work

I live in a bat-infested commie-block with no insulation. You can simultaneously hear people fucking, while a child is screaming while their mother beats them, as you try to capture a brown bat flying around your living room...Yes, I live in Ohio.
Yes.It will get bashed on here though, but the money saving is unreal.
>>62539738I dont really like not having a decent bathroom with a good shower.Good system to travel and visit landmarks in a country for three weeks though.

No they're terrible places to live. Even if you got an RV free with land they are cramped and breakdown fast. If you buy a new one it appreciates faster than a new car. It's like all the negatives and price of owning a house but in the form of a cars worth of ownership.Just buy a home on an FHA loan and try to get something reasonable under $120,000. Even if you have a million bucks saved you want to have that invested not buying a house you should always be paying on your house you should never buy it in full that money will always be better spent in the stock market owning companies that generate money.
>>62545265livin rough but livin free

>>62539738You need to spray the poop out if your grey water tank

>>62539738where I live seasonal rates for rv's at municipal campgrounds are around $1500. the season only last 6 months so you would need to move down south in the off season.monthly rates are around $400. you probably need to budget in an additional $200 dollars for gas to get between campsites every month.
>>62547908Why are you shitting in your shower? Use a cassette toilet you tard.
>>62547975> He lives at a campground Lol
>>62548833 #>>62548835 #>Live your entire life using a plane bathroomLow quality of life for low quality people
>>62539738It used to be back in the 90s when government and private sector hadn't yet caught on to the fact that people were using RVs to get around rising rents. After '08, the van life folks, the tiny home folks and the RV folks all went much more mainstream as people looked for alternatives to homelessness and now its had a good long while for absolutely everything in the system to price it in. RV Parks are priced just barely under (and sometimes over) local house rents, and the parking lot/campground thing opens you up to ever-increasing fines and aggressive police looking to fill quotas. Its not effective as a way to dodge rents anymore.
