Now that financial institutions and goverments are starting to take Pokemon as a serious investment What are your Moonshot pokemon cards? Cards that have low enough market cap, appeal, rarity and have the potential to go x100. For me it's Masaki Alakazam, Natta Wake Pickachu, or Umbreon Vmax

What are your x100 moonshots ie the next Bitcorn during this breakout.

Buying pokemon on ebay now is like buying bitcoin on localbitcorn

we are nowhere near new paradigm. I would see we are at early enthusiasm. Right now you can still actually pick these cards up and find them in the wild, Theres less than 2000 remaining in some editions. Like pic related. Do you know that a Bonksy art print edition of 8000+ can sell for over £50k

THIS
you can literally buy 30 year old cards, with nice artwork, that are limited in number, for like $20. this is not going to be the case for much longer. one person with less than 100k can buy up and limit the supply of a vintage card. the real shock is going to come when theres no more boxes for whatnot streamers to open. they are rapidly shrinking the supply of sealed product, more so then any time in history. we had decades of people hoarding these boxes and maybe every now and then someone would buy them to open them

the problem with pokemon is that no one actually plays it. the cards are all priced on hype and people are always hyped over the new thing. vintage magic and yugioh have large player bases that enjoy the old formats. the competitive staples for those old formats hold their value a lot better.

My Masaki Alakazam along with a few other of my cards have doubled in value over the last 8 weeks. There are only around 2000 known to currently exist 2000 x $5000 (average price now psa 8-10) gives $10000000 which is like buying bitcoin at $0.50. Buying Masaki Alakazam right now (in value terms) is equal to getting a $0.50 bitcoin

look man vintage is nice and all and i'm sitting on a binder but all people want (for real money) is PSA 10s and with turnaround time for vintage you're going to wait months to get a sub-10 grade

that or you can get a few hundred bucks at a card show this weekend if you sell raws then wonder "what if"

both are better than zero, but both are retarded and in no way a lamboland ticket
sell before it's too late, it will happen sooner than you think and you'll have to wait *literally twenty years* for pokemon to round trip during the 50th anniversary
