Then you have the issues regarding actually having qualified people working on these things and that's where the real/fake economy differences really starts showing itself. With something like media, you can just genuinely throw money at the sector and people will just figure out how to do jobs with no formal training. People who might not actually be interested in being journalists will actually just apply for these jobs and learn how to do them on the job if you pay them. You can't really do that with things like nuclear engineers. If you're the government, you love those kinds of jobs that people can just pick up. They allow the government manage the economy by injecting cash into the system through various means. All the diplomas people can get to qualify for those kinds of jobs are basically just IQ tests that allows the population to sort itself out into hierarchies which ultimately only exist because governments throw money at them. Its irrelevant if these jobs produce anything meaningful to the economy, their sole function is just to move money around. Its not as simple as them taking money fro people with real jobs, a huge portion of the salaries go directly into paying people to perform real work.
