I want to invest in some car companies any tips?Im looking especially for companies that invest in EVs or Hydrogen cars since dies are gonna be the future and arent run by Retartds who only think of short term profitMy brother worked for Mercedes before he quit because all the turks and Indians dont know what there doinf but they work for practically nothing so everoyne is happy with themIm thinking BYD but what else?
>>62545354Byd and energy companies.Next year I will start diversifying in Chinese market I know there are others auto makers like gwm and geely.
>>62545366anything else?I dont want to put all my money in BYDToyota looks also promising they have a lean corporate strucute huge earning margins and focus on E carsThe only problem is they dont invest as much into research as otehr companies and the automobile inudstry is really competetive so if you lose the edge then you fall behind hard
>>62545417Well byd and now Mercedes also electrify bus. The Japs are falling behind they have hybrids but hardly any full electric vehicle.
>>62545354To be honest I feel like the auto industry is sagging but e-bikes and scooters are lowkey on the rise. I live in a college town and the amount of bikes and scooters I see being used rises more and more because like houses, cars are becoming more and more expensive.
>>62545582BYD is a chines state owned company if they ever do some stupid shit like invade Taiwan there gonna be worthless granted is highly unlikely but at the same time it was highly unlikely putin was gonna invade Ukraine and here we are Mercedes is also not really putting their focus on e cars They do it because germany incenived e cars for a while but now there stopping it and will go back to combustion engines were there main focus isThey do put a lot of money in research though around 8 or 9% which is goodBYD also puts around that much money in it
All car companies suck as investments. The field is way overcrowded.Maybe Rivian is what you should look at though OP.
Avoid any European manufacturer, they dropped the ball on EVs and will struggle to catch up.
>>62545354Lucid is at an all time low. Their tech is promising and they are pumping out a new cuv at a competitive price. might as well get a SUI
>>62545871Lucid looks good but they arent profitable even though their revenue is rising they still lose almost 2.5 Billion dollar RIvian and centro look more intersting to meRivian has increased their earings they still lose as much as Lucid but they atleast seem to be aproaching a profitThe also have a bigger revenue and spend more on research Cenntro also looks interesting There are a fewmillions away from being profitable but there only millions away not billionsBut there revenue fell in 2024 and didn really recover so that doesnt look good
>>62545354lowkey wanna buy a xiaomi out of all the EV brands, not sure about their stocks though
I work at a Honda factory and I play OSRS on my phone while I install people's airbags
>>62547568how do i get such a comfy manufacturing job?
>>62547568I read that they gave up EVs in Europe Is this true? Why would they do that?
>>62545354BYD, Geely, and Rivian would be my choices. Of the traditional car makers, the best positioned in the EV space are Hyundai/Kia, followed by GM, then VW group. Don't invest in VW though lol.
>>62545871Lucid is a zombie company at this point. They have good tech but they consistently failed to make anything about the cars appealing outside of the drivetrain. You need more than just a good drivetrain to be competitive. Their cars are all ugly with shitty user interfaces. They will eventually fold and sell their IP to someone else. Price them for that eventuality. Telo is a dark horse. They are starting very small scale and may establish themselves as a niche producer of cars. I think they have huge growth potential. If they ever go public, get in on that.
>>62545354>HydrogenLol
From my Research i plan on investing in these 5 companies equally i hope anyone can give me some feedback on this>RenaultThey seem like a good company they are one of the Few Companies to really focus on EVs and make some ambitions targets regarding EVs Everyone else has made it a goal to move to EVs but then backpedals down whenever it gets hard but they are one of the few companies to not give up their goals They also arent that horrendously overpriced so people actualy buy them>BYDThey are already a leading EV manufacturer and ridicolusly optimisedThey own almost every fabric of their supply chain so there wont be suspectible to any sudden changes that happen every 5 min nowadyThe only problem is they are Chinese and if China does some stupid shit like Invade Taiwan which granted i doubt they will ever really do but just in case they do which isnt that unlikly considering whats happening around the globe they will become worthless>NissanAgain also has ambitous EV goals and invest heavily in the future Their battery technology is interesting and their are on track of their set goals>HyundaiThey already are in a good position with their Hybrids and can make a good transition into full EV>Ebusco They are a Wild cardI honestly dont have the highest hopes in them but in the rare case they actually succed you can make a good profit with themThey are starting to increase theri revenue again as off 2024 and their earnings are also starting to increaseThey are still burning cash buit are on the right track I think thats decently Diversivied into several companies all across the globeVW is a nightmare company and horrible bloated to the point where there main product isnt cars anymore but sausages for their canteen and germans in generall seam to drag their feet down and any inovation whatsoever
>>62552140They did, gonna tear down the whole department they spent a year building for them. They're retarded lol
>>62552255Is EU this bad a place to Work?I know they can be bureocratic but even then Tesla has a fabric in Germany for gods sake and they seem to be doing fine Even though they are mainly a meme stock
>>62545354Whatever you do: Avoid European companies with the force of a thousand suns.
