>Renting is cheaper than buying
>>62547762Correct.
>>62547762>>62547774Depends on the area.
Yeah. I don't want to own a gas powered auger, carpet cleaner, home, U-haul, bowling shoes...
Ill sum up the next 100 posts with one line>Yes renting a 1000sq ft shack is generally cheaper then the mortgage on a 2500 square ft house
>>62547785If you live in one of those areas then move. They aren't for poors
>>62547802Depends on the area.
>>62547820Move somewhere you can afford to buy. You are fucking yourself hard if you rent
houses are great for average joes. there's nothing wrong with being a loser, op. some people need a forced saving account because theyre not smart enough to invest. enjoy your slave life and mediocre retirement
Owner virgins are still mad their equity was tied up in a stagnating house as cryptocurrency and the Nasdaq mooned
>>62547833Depends on the area.
>hurr durr I NEED to own a house>I need to open a mortgage at 5% interest on a $400,000 house>who cares if mortgage is generally 30% more than renting>once I pay all of this off and interest I'm not going to spend money anymore!>let's not forget:>air conditioner breaks down? pipes break? walls crumble because of termites? no problem I don't care about maintenance cost>home insurance? natural disaster insurance? yeah cool I can pay for all of that monthly>HOA fees? yearly property tax? yeah mang so worth it>it's not like I could have spent those monthly mortgage payments on investing and building up my wealth >haha yeah but like mang, housing price go up so I can sell it was so worth because now I can sell and move! not like those idiot renters!Fascinating how retarded people can be. Congratulations, you are slurping up what millionaire real estate owners, banks, and Jews told you.I currently have $400,000 in my investing account. Just from doing cash secured puts and calls, I make $40k-50k a year on premiums doing nothing but clicking a few buttons on my computer. Count actual gains from selling at higher prices and that's around another $10k-20 depending on the market. My rent is $1500 in a nice middle-class area where it's so safe I can leave my door unlocked. If I ever get sick of this place I can easily move to wherever I want and not need to try and sell a house. Now tell me why I should buy a house instead.
>>62547799Also everyone ignores for the whole thread that most rentoids arent renting cause some minmax investor math autism but because they are too high time preference to save money at all and paying more to not be near those people is worth it
>>62547993What am I supposed to do when I'm trying to save up for a house be homeless?
>>62547762Living with your parents is cheaper than both
How the fuck do you retards thinks this works? When you buy a house you have to pay a mortgage, taxes, and insurance. When you rent, your landlord has to pay a mortgage, taxes, and insurance, and he charges you way more than those things cost him so that he can make money off of you. How dumb do you have to be to think that by paying for housing in a way that makes someone else money you are saving money yourself?Whatever it costs to own something, renting costs that plus extra. You'd have to be such an idiot to think you can get a better deal by being the sucker paying rent.
>>62548000Rent the cheapest possible place you can find and save everything you make until you can afford to buy.
>>62548012Ignoring the fact that you can rent smaller spaces than you can buy, and the costs of a rental are often split out over more people, There's also the time efficiencyIf you buy, you're paying today prices. Your landlord on the other hand probably bought 20 years ago and can charge much less than the current price and still make money
>>62547966Your mortgage would be like $1000 if you bought the place you are renting. And when you sell it in a few years you would make $50k from the appreciation. Wow you are so smart by paying the Jew
>>62547762Not in the park of the UK I live
RENTING IS CHEAPER THAN BUYING UNTILYOU GET OLDTHEN SUDDENLY YOU HAVE NO INCOMETHEN YOU CANT AFFORD TO PAY RENTAND YOU HAVE NO HOME PAID OFF (ULTRA LOW COST SHELTER)YOU ONLY TRULY BENEFIT FROM HOME OWNERSHIP WHEN YOURE RETIRED THIS IS THE FACTS/THREAD
>>62547966let me guess, you didn't buy your wife a big diamond ring? because you're very smart?
>>62548028>can chargeLandlords can charge whatever the market will bear. With very few exceptions, that's going to be higher than the cost to buy the same property. Rent tracks the housing market like anything else.If you don't believe, then do a Zillow search in your area for apartments and condos with the same specs. There will be fuck all available to rent for the monthly price of what is available to buy, let alone less.
ITT homebaggies who enjoy paying interest and bragging about something that doesn't exist like home "equity".
OH AND IF YOU WANT TO MAKE IT MAKE MORE SENSETHE INTEREST YOU PAY ON THEM HOME IS ESSENTIALLY RENT YOU WOULD HAVE TO KEEP PAYING ONCE YOU RETIRE IF YOU DIDNT OWN A HOMESO YOU MIGHT SPEND $500,000 ON A HOUSE TODAY AND PAY $500,000 INTEREST PAYMENTSONE COULD CONSIDER THAT $500,000 INTEREST PAYING AS A FRONT LOADED RENT PAYMENT THAT YOU WOULD OF HAD TO OTHERWISE PAY AFTER RETIREMENT TO A LANDLORD BUT INSTEAD YOU PAY IT TO THE BANK IN THE FORM OF INTEREST DURING YOUR WORKING YEARS
>>62548037Retard you don't /thread your own stupid post
>>62548049A lot of people here bought homes straight cash. Stop being ignorant
>>62548047There are no properties for sale in my area. They sell before they even get listed. Which is another advantage of renting. You can rent places that you simply can't buy
In my experience, renting can be more interesting financially than buying, but you need to know what you're doing, for the vast majority of people, buying is the best way to create generational wealth and secure your retirement. A house isn't that expensive to maintain if you can work with your hands and fix things along the way instead of letting it degrade until it becomes really expensive to fix (unless you buy a huge mansion of course)Now I know what most of you will say "i'm not the average joe, I will become a multi millionnaire", but the only people i've ever seen laugh at home owners and claim that renting was smarter were coping, broke mcdonald workers, who couldn't even afford a house even if they wanted to.
>>62548012>>62548030Holy retard. Do you know the difference between an apartment vs a fucking house?>Your mortgage would be like $1000Your IQ is in the double digits. Do you know what a fucking mortgage is? Are you misconstruing what is now HOA, insurance, maintenance cost, and property tax?>And when you sell it in a few years you would make $50k from the appreciation.I make $70k a year from having that $400k in my investing account and it continues to compound, genius. When I sell the house I need to pay closing costs and find a realtor to sell, Einstein. If I'm going to sell why the fuck would I buy that house Bezos.
>>62548061Woah so you're telling me living in a paid off house has a cheaper monthly cost than renting one? You might be a fucking genius.
>>62548061>A lot of people here bought homes straight cashNoA lot of people here lie
>>62548078You have to come up with that $400k up front. I have 30 years to come up with it and I can make paymentsIn fact I can earn gains on the whole $400k without actually paying any of it
>>62548078Are you unaware that there are these things called condos that are the same as apartments but you own them?
>>62548094And that's the actual advantage of owning a house. You get 100% of the gains (or losses) even if you only own 1% of the houseThis is called leverage, and /biz/ isn't smart enough to innately see it
>>62548061>A lot of people here bought homes straight cashGenuinely can't tell is this is a sarcastic shitpost or not.I would be willing to bet 90% of people on this website 90% are living with their mommy and daddy and have a low wagie job, 9% are middle-class actual functioning adults, 1% are rich people who can a house straight cash. >>62548094>In fact I can earn gains on the whole $400k without actually paying any of itHilarious. Please explain how. You know that literally 100% of mortgages are around average 30% more expensive than renting and we are right now in a 6.5% fixed interest rate, more than double a couple years ago right? You know that in your first 10 years of payment, half of what you paid is interest going to the bank? You know what it costs when an air conditioner breaks and you need to buy a new one right? When you need to replace a roof? Walls? You are factoring in home insurance?
>>62548116>Please explain howYou just didYour first few years you're paying nothing into the houseBut if it goes up in value you keep 100% of the gains even though you own 0% of the house
>>62547762tbf it's true in any place worth living in (as compared to "retiring in to rot and die in front of a computer")e.g. where I live, rent is 0.4% of the cost of the housethey're renting it out for way too cheap so I'm making big bucks by not buyingwhen it's time to retire I'll just buy a shack in bumfuck nowhere where they're affordable
>>62548115I put $15,000 down on my $300,000 property in 2020 that's now worth $450,000. Instead of pissing away 100% of my monthly payment I was paying a decent amount towards the principle of the loan and building equity. Someone please explain to me how I could have made more money by renting something equivalent instead of paying off my house and gaining another $150,000 in net worth while I was doing it?
>not putting a massive down-payment on your house that came 100% from your in lawsKek ngmi
>>62548108>Condos and apartments cost the sameYup, you're retarded.Alright genius, tell me how I pay a lower mortgage on a condo since you want to ignore the fact that I can make a shit ton of money just holding my compounding $400,000 account. Here's Texas. Feel free to use other states and areas for cost. >>62548126What the actual fuck are you talking about?
>>62548131The places that are worth living in don't have anything available to rent. In many cases it's outright banned. The truly nice places are free of browns, homeless people/druggies, and most importantly rentoids. You don't even know what nice is lol.
>>62548136Nobody is going to answer that because they can'tMy house typically earns more money every year than I do. If I wanted to cash it out every year I could in theory stop working and just live on my house increasing in value. Assuming my bank would loan money to someone with zero income
>>62548147>What the actual fuck are you talking about?I can't say it any simpler, tard
>>62548159No, you're just actually so fucking retarded I had no idea what you were talking about and I didn't realize how fucking retarded you are. >I am paying a mortgage on my house but since the house goes up in price it means I spent nothing but got moneyYou are retarded and that isn't how things work, while also ignoring the fact you might want to move in the future, you might not be able to make mortgage payments, and many people default due to them being retarded . |Go use the picture of Texas I listed. Tell me why I should spend $1500 extra every month (Near $20,000 more a year) on a mortgage instead of investing that money in to an index fund that average returns 10% a year.Tell me what the cost of your house is, if you're still paying a mortgage on it, the money you spent on maintainence, HOA, property tax, insurance, and then compare it to your selling price. Now compare that to my $400,000 investing account that I make $70k a year in through CSPs and CCs If you want to say average retards can't do what I do, then a 10% compounding return from investing that in an index fund. Minus the $18,000 I pay for rent a year.Tell me, are you in a better position than me? Note that if I EVER want to actually settle down, retire, and find a place to settle with a family I can easily do that anytime years from now as my investment account continues to compound.
Do people un-ironically do this? On top of 300-500 a month allowance for maintenance?
>>62548187If you're too stupid to understand what I said I don't see any reason to read what you wrote
>>62548212I accept your concession house baggie. Let me know when you can sell that theoretical house you own 25 years from now when you fully paid it off and are in your sixties.
>>62548197>300-500 a month allowance for maintenanceLolCloser to $0 per month and we borrow to pay any (very rare) repairs or rebuilds. Also tax deductible but that only matters if you make more than normal
>>62547762Unironically so much cheaper. I put all my rental savings into pretax 401k to reduce my taxes and prepare for retirement. I put it all in the VDE for the past 6 years. You can check the performance of my investment yourselves. I could buy a house outright with my 401k but instead I'll just be a millionaire at 42.
>>62548222Are you flexing taking out home improvement loans to get a new HVAC unit? Or a HELO?
Reminder that boomers all own homes but only like 1% retired with a million
>>62548229No I'm flexing that I know what homeowners actually do since clearly almost nobody here owns a home
>>62548236They come to 4chan to defend their much better living conditions to renters.
>>62548238Do we?I assume most here live with their parents so the entire topic is just bait
>>62547762Well you think of a more reliable bait thread then, hm?!
>>62548147>TexasYou are living in one of the few places where renting is actually cheaperIf that's where you're from and you want to live there then congratulations. Texas sucks ass though. Go buy a house somewhere else and you'll do much better.
mfw those rentoids are giving money to landlords and think they're clever using the money they save on investing, while I, intelligent homeowner gives money to banks unironically owned by Jews and when I finally pay my home off when I'm in my sixties I only need to pay property tax every year, HOA, renovations, insurance, and they don't realize my house has appreciated and I can finally sell it for a profit which totally offsets all the interest that I paid and all the maintenance costs I paid during said 30 years.Indeed, after living in the house for 30 years, I can totally sell this house for a profit and move away from friends and family to buy another house (because renting is for FAGs) that I just need to find a cheaper price than I sold my original home for, thus maintaining my profits.
>>62548012The landlord takes a loss in cash flow so he can get capital gains long term. What landlords and apparently retards on biz don't understand is you'll make way more money renting and putting the difference into other assets with way higher capital gains.
>>62548389You have to be pretty poor to not afford both. Homeowners usually buy stocks. Since they earn more than renters they could buy a lot more stocks
>>62548012I'm paying my mother who's single and will die soon, is it smarter for me? It's practically half off yeah?
>>62548386>>62548197the amortization really is a fucking killer. any shit shack basically cost you $1M minimum
>>62548449Yup. Even if you could fully buy an entire house with cash, that money can still be invested to give you a 10% return annually and compound compared to a 3% average price increase of a house. And even after that you are STILL paying HOA, property tax, insurance, and maintenance when something breaks in your house. The American dream and "I own this!" has brain rotted people and only serves to enrich real estate owners and banks. Just look at the fucking 2008 housing crisis. The only time to ever buy a house is when you absolutely, for 100% certain, want to settle down in a specific area, raise a family, live a certain lifestyle, and retire there until you die. Any other mindset, especially the idea that a house is an investment, is pure retardation.
>>62548386Do you not understand that those things apply to every property whether you own it or someone else owns it and you rent it? When you pay rent to your landlord, you are still paying for those expenses. You are also paying a hefty profit margin so that the landlord can make money off of you.
>>62548457My house has gone up an average of 7% over the last 25 years. That's misleading though. It went up 100% a couple years and 0% a lot of years.Unlike stocks the housing market is extremely volatile because you don't actually own an average of the whole market
>>62548389Only in a select few markets. Everywhere else, renting costs what it costs to own + profit for the landlord.
The only thing that matters is having enough difference from your income to living expenses to gamble. Everything else is irrelevant. Unless you're a normie trying to have a family owning a home is not required at all.
>>62548483Retard, what does that have to do with the listed price of rent, vs the unlisted expenses that you are going to be paying on top of the mortgage you financed, and my argument that even after you fully pay off a house you are paying those expenses and not free of continual payments?I genuinely do not give a fuck who I give my money and what is it going towards as long as it benefits me in the end and makes sense financially for my future. And for my future, renting easily slaps home ownership not only on a pure finance level but on lifestyle if I ever want to go live anywhere else instead of being tied down to one place.
>>62548457If you invest at the right time. Or you could buy the top of a bubble and be under water for the next 10 years. You are always taking a risk when you think like that. The purpose of paying off your house is to eliminate financial stress and not treat the thing that is keeping you from being homeless as a part of the calculus that can theoretically make you the most money in the short term.If you pay off your house, then you are basically set. You can take massive risks with your money and not care if you lose it all because there is no mortgage payment you have to make every month. This is how truly wealthy people think. All of their living expenses have already been paid for the rest of their lives. The money they play around with has no consequences for their basic needs.
>>62548502>If you invest at the right time.>This is how truly wealthy people thinkJesus fucking Christ. Do I seriously have to explain not timing the market, buying high quality stocks with free cash flow and assets covering debt, focusing on blue-chip stocks, and looking at investing in the long-term? Please fucking study finance.Alright genius, since you love what ifs so much, what if we have another housing bubble crisis because houses today are ridiculously pricey and young people are refusing home ownership and living with mommy and daddy?
>>62548494How are you tied down when you own something? You just put it up for sale, sell it, pocket the equity, and move on.When you rent, you still pay all of those expenses as a part of your rent. You don't somehow dodge the cost of owning a property when you rent it instead of owning it yourself. Whatever costs the landlord pays in his mortgage, property taxes, and insurance is passed onto you, the rentcuck. There is no way to avoid paying the costs of property ownership. They apply to everyone who pays to have a roof over his head. If you own a property you pay them directly. If you rent, you pay a landlord who charges you those costs plus a profit margin.
>>62548516The entire fucking stock market is ridiculously overvalued right now. If this is the top and the bubble pops you could be fucked for the next quarter of your entire adult life. Buying this shit is a massive gamble.
>>62548522Lmao how does one even say this and believe it. How is the stock market overvalued? And even if it was, why would it ever crash?
>>62548528Lol'dReminds me of the time I asked my wife's boyfriends dad if houses can go down. I think that was June 2008
>>62548517>You just put it up for sale, sell it, pocket the equity, and move on.Congrats. You just paid double the cost of renting before fully paying off a house. If you are moving after your 30 year mortgage is finally paid off, THEN YOU'RE FUCKING TIED DOWN IF YOU EVER WANTED TO MOVE BEFORE THEN. Compare your equity to what interest you paid, the closing fees you'll have to pay, any renovations and maintenance, and see your profit. Because if I'm looking to buy your house I sure as hell ain't going to buy it if your house has a broken down AC, shitty old washing machine that doesn't work, roof tiles that need fixing, a shitty garden with dead grass.>You don't somehow dodge the cost of owning a property>There is no way to avoid paying the costs of property ownership.I DON'T FUCKING CARE YOU RETARD. I care about the LISTED PRICE of the rental property vs the price of the home + unlisted expenses.>>62548522>stock market is ridiculously overvalued right now.IT DOESN'T MATTER. If you buy proper stocks, or INDEX FUNDS, they will recover even if you bought at the worse fucking time and we have a crash. You look at investing stocks in the LONG TERM. You do not buy fucking meme stocks, you buy quality stocks at prices you like and will last decades. If you're trying to ragebait me, you did it. I cannot believe how stupid you are. But I'm pretty sure you're just coping at this point.
>>62548537You're easily the stupidest person hereOf course you're also angry
>>62548542Keep holding that house baggie and cope. I'll be fully retired before I even hit 40 while you can celebrate paying $400,000 to banks when you finally pay off that house of yours.
>>62548528Because the only corporations that aren't in the toilet right now are going into debt to pay for something that has never once proven to provide a return on investment. The entire stock market is being propped up by AI spending by the hyperscalars. In the beginning of this AI cycle they were blowing through their cash reserves. The cash has been spent and now they are selling bonds to finance this shit. It costs them hundreds of billions of dollars and they have never proven that it can make money. The writing is on the walls. This shit is a bubble that's about to pop.
>>62548554Ok so humor me, say it does pop. What then? Does housing pop? How far does it tumble down? What other markets are effected?

A lot of places don't even come with the washer/drier, the owner takes them with them if they are moving locally.>I care about the LISTED PRICE of the rental property vs the price of the home + unlisted expenses.Don't forget yearly rent increases, plus amenity fees, which can increase during the lease, pet fees, etc. The listed rent is not the amount you pay ever month. Landlords charge you what they need to make profit, and they advertise the amount to get you you in the door and hope sunk cost fallacy wins the day.
>>62548744>Landlords charge you what they need to make a profit False. Landlords charge you what the market is willing to pay. It's a renters market for the first time in like 20 years in many cities. It's funny watching people pay $3,500 a month to the bank on a home that is only renting for $2,700. No one is renting 3 bed 1 bath houses for mortgage value. If you guys don't see the looming housing decline in the 15-20 years then you can't be helped. These homes simply aren't worth what an increasingly small number of people are willing to pay for them

It depends on where you're renting. If you live in the main part of a major city, then you're going to get your ass raped. If you live in a surrounding area, then it's cheaper than owning>Rent prices are not set by the landlord, they are set by the market, even if the rent cannot pay for the mortgage, taxes, and maintenance>Renting is the maximum you pay and a mortgage is the minumum you pay>Landlord can be cash negative for a years if the water heater, AC, roof, and sewer line, all go out in the same year>You have zero equity with a mortgage until about year 7, so a mortgage is just renting for the first 7 years
>>62548147Fuck you kike, posting apartment prices in Dallas suburbs and condos priced in Austin and fucking summer rental central South Padre? Actually kill yourself. Shitty South Austin rent on random ass 2bd apts is 2,000 and you know it
>>62548900I'm not coping, I'm living the dream. I wouldn't like to be trying to buy a house now, that's for sure. I own another place too that I bought in 2019 just before covid. I rent that one out. Also no debt.
>>62549026I'm sure you are.
>>62548012No you're the idiot that talks about inheriting instead of "buying vs renting"You're the one investing all the equity in a small plot (using debt) while the guy renting can invest in equity all over the world. You're the one who makes the major investment decisions at the start of his life with no experience
>>62549032This is by design, they invented nuclear family to make everyone poor.Renting vs buying is false dichotomy, your parents own a house, and no, you ducking your girlfriend in your room doesn't affect your parents personally, beat your father up if he complains about you having sex and rape your mother while he watches if he doesn't back down.
>>62549030You clearly aren't.
>daily rentoid vs mortgoid fight>meanwhile I'm living with my parents>cut out a door in my room to the outside>got my own mini shower and bathroom>I only use parents' kitchen>chicks don't mind at all, especially the younger ones>obviously no serious relationship ever develops but in my mind it is better this way, I get to have a new girl every other year>saving and investing everything I make>will probably retire after 40 and buy my own house in a rural ghost village in EuropeThis isn't even delayed gratification. This is just not falling for the most obvious normalfag traps. My only limit is that I am limiting myself to job opportunities in my area only. If there's a job where I need to relocate I just refuse. If you are less privileged than me and your parents are mentally ill, then buy an RV and camp it near their house. If their home is inside the city then you have it tough and you will have to park it further away, but I'm sure you can manage.Pic unrelated
>>62547799Rates are high atm wouldn’t the efficiency of 2500 sqft be the same as 1000? Are things priced in per sqft?
>>62547762The best financial decision a home owner can make is to sell, invest and then rent. Yeah, not having a mortgage payment or rent is nice, but they miss out on bigger gains. Let's say you sell for 500k, that's 50k a year of income from investments. That more than covers rent and the rest goes in your pocket. You get richer faster. Stocks beat housing every time.
>>62548126>But if it goes up in value you keep 100% of the gains even though you own 0% of the houseare you retarded my dude? the bank benefits of the increase in value not you since you dont own anything. this place is useless outside of memes.
>>62547762The superior option should dominate the market. Both being offered to you means that it depends on your circumstances
>>62549037Damn, the israelis are really trying hard recently.
>>62548581Buy a big bag of dildos and sell them for a profit on the street. Once you've built a reputation for being the dildo guy money will start flowing to you
>>62548581>only 1kDon't move out. Sorry, but 1k is nothing in today's economy and a pittance. It's not going in to compound in to anything in investments. Since you know nothing about stocks, you shouldn't invest in anything but index funds like VOO or SPY until you know how to read a stock's financial page and understand the principles of disciplined investing.Check out:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXYvRR7gV2EI highly recommend you work your ass off and only move out once you hit around 50k in investments or savings, ideally 100k. I have no idea what your skill or education is, but if you are lacking in both and want a job that returns you good money for effort, be a waiter at restaurant that can easily net you $40 an hour when tips are included as long as you're polite and smile. Otherwise you need to go in to a trade or education like STEM if you ever wanting to be making a middle-class+ income.
>>62549336Dumbest advice ever. If you own your home free and clear, then you can basically afford to lose everything you invest. The best thing you can do is make extremely risky moonshot investments with your play money and profit massively when one of them pays off. If you are investing the money you need to live then the only investments you can make are shitty low risk ones.
its easy to see if this is true or not, just look at who rents and who owns.all the rentoids are rich and the house owners are poor, this is what I see in daily life all the time, all the poor people own huge houses and the rich only rent right?hahahaha
rental yield is like 2.5% where i live
Its pretty easy to tell when a rentoid is arguing in good faith or not, based on if they mention HOA or not. Anyone who actually owns a home knows that HOAs only apply to condos, townhouses, and gated communities, which are an irrelevant minority of homeowners. They have to insist on HOA fees in their calculation so they can add an imaginary cost of hundreds if not more to the calculation to make the numbers come out in their favor.

>>62550009i ran the numbers on buying a duplex and renting out one side. it's absolutely not worth it, as it amounts to letting a stranger hold your leveraged 6-7 figure investment hostage for a few hundred dollars a month after recurring and budgeted costs.>dude just evict themevictions take time and money. a disturbed renter can cause 5-6 figures of damage in the time it takes judge shmuley to adjudicate in your favor and deputy goy to evict the tenant at gunpoint.>dude you can sue them for lost rents, damages, etc.most renters are effectively judgement proof. if they had assets most of them wouldn't be renting.
>>62549090Extremely based. Sadly I can't make my own entrance, so chicks just have to live with saying hi to my parents.
>>62550042My HOA and CDD combined run about $2500 a year. On top of 5k property tax. I am required to maintain my yard including the driveway. No commercial vehicles or boats alowed for longer then 12 hours. I have access to 2 clubhouses each has a pool, courtyard, tennis, basketball, gyms and a play area where people can bring game consoles.
>>62550255are there any stipulations in the HOA bylaws which limit increases to your dues?
>>62550271NoEverytime they announce a due increase the neighbors attend the monthly CDD meetings to bitch and moan and sometimes they claw back. A due increase is usually like $50 to $100 a year. Im more concerned with FL passing property tax reform which would cut my tax bill in half

>>62547762>I could be paying off a mortgage for myself, an asset that appreciates in value and that I can sell later for a profit, but I'd rather pay down someone else's and make them wealthy.
