Does it actually work to lie about work experience for companies that don't exist anymore?
>>
Dishonesty. Blatent dishonesty is one of the worst character traits you can have.

Latest reports say employers reviewing applicants are making it a standard practice to just independently seek out anyone who may know you or have worked with you in the past, to check your work history.

Don't count on getting away with a lie. Depe9on the context and the severity of a lie in this situation, you could be sett yourself up to become the defence t against criminal charges for it

It's either this or nothing for most people when it takes 4-10 interviews for 1 job and that's after sending a thousand resumes out across months.

As an HR recruitment agent I can tell you lying on your resume is a very VERY bad idea. We are literally trained to sniff out stuff like that. And we will check references. Even if the company doesn't exist anymore, we are still able to find out a lot about you. And during your job interview I will find out anyway. Just be straight and honest. We have seen it all by now and trust me you aren't half as smart as you think you are.

lying is expected to some degree, its all part of the game and everyone involved knows it. just dont make up things, exaggerating is fine.

kek is this pasta? HR people are some of the most useless fucking retards in any business. You get fleeced all the time by people lying right to your face. In fact, you encourage lying in your interviews to showcase willingness to conform or to "show that you know to say what they want to hear". I am amazed that HR people aren't hunted in the streets. You have turned the entire employment process into one giant humiliation ritual that does nothing but demoralize and reduce the productivity of everyone. You also suck at hiring competent people, in general, and will actually hire the best liar as said previously.
>increased sales by 20%!
how the fuck do you even verify something like this? You can't legally call the company and ask them all these sorts of questions. In most states in the US you can only ask if they held the position they said they held and were there for the duration they said they were.... oh and if they would be rehired.

We are far from useless. Ultimately we decide who gets the job and who doesn't. So we control the entire quality of the company. Without us, there would be no safeguard. And I know all the excuses from people lying on their resume. I personally especially love it when they are not honest about any gaps in their employment. One time I had a guy in my office. He literally had 14 months of unemployment totally unaccounted for. And of course I wanted to see if he would voluntary confess to me what that was all about. Of course he didn't. So I made him feel really comfortable. He could call me by my first name, i was his friend. And as soon as he let his guard down I started to sweat him. Oh and one more question, care to explain this to me? and I held strict eye contact with him. Of course he started to stutter and say uhh a lot and didn't have any good answer. So I shook his hand anyway and thanked him for his time. Obviously i've never mailed him back. The point i'm trying to make is just be honest, because we are gonna find out anyway.

how did his resume even make it past the screening to get interviewed when you could see his unexplained employment gap right on the fucking resume? And you still wasted company time and money calling this guy in for an interview? THIS is what you call raising the quality of companies? KEK

I can't wait to go to work monday and work on automating your job. I hope you die penniless.

If you are 100% honest on your resume you'll never get a job. You have to lie to get your foot in the door.

People need to get into an occupation that is in demand.
We can't all be stay-at-home coders

If you are found to be dishonest I am 100% fire you or never hire you in the first place and you will never get a good reference from me.
Can't work with dishonesty. If we're conducting business based on falsehoods were fucked. Not gonna be tolerated.

If you want to lie for a Job, you were born to be a politician of something

AI automation engineering is "coding from home" and is in high demand and very high paying. This is what I'm getting into. I will work tirelessly like this anon >>62550080 to put you all out of a job forever. Tick tock, HR/do-nothing-manager faggot. Hope you have some retirement savings

What retarded workplace do you work for? HR handles the paperwork. People that do the actual work make the hiring decisions. Unless you discover the candidate is a felon or con artist nobody cares about your opinion.

If I’m hiring for an entry level position that doesn’t require experience I’m more or less just looking to see if you have a coherently formatted resume and that you don’t give off any red flags during the interview.
For roles that require experience it’s my job to ask qualifying questions.
I also believe that resumes are a category of physiognomy and a reflection of the candidate on a deeper level.
The way we do anything in the way we do everything.

>>62549753
Don't do this. They'll just keep bugging you about finding someone who can vouch for you.
>>
>>62552431
it's useful to cover gaps in resumes, but don't say it was your last job.

for example: I had a 3 year gap after graduating college, then I worked at a small business for 3 years, the next job I applied to I listed those 3 years as working at a bankrupt company and they didn't bother trying to verify since they could call my previous job and I didn't have to worry about them asking about gaps.
