The coins are subject to a 28 day cooldown period before they can be withdrawn. So once you detect that your address has requested to unstake, the name of the game at that point is that you have 28 days to make a faster bot than the attacker so that you can snatch the coins to a fresh wallet before the other guy does?
My father in law's 1000 staked link was just hacked and I have to assume he got phished or something because there were no suspicious contract approvals in his transaction history and I literally bought him a Ledger. The link was unstaked a month ago and then moved out of his wallet without him having a clue. This industry is a fucking joke
