My job can’t be automated. I’m gonna be getting paid to sit on my ass for the rest of my life “guarding” empty office buildings overnight. If you stick with the Big 3 Security g
Companies they can afford to underbid any private company, so you’ll always have a job. There won’t be any faggot robot dogs taking my place.

Companies and property owners hire physical security to lower their insurance rates. Is insurance ever going away? Nope! So my presence is always baked into the equation

You can’t automate split second human judgement. You can’t afford to have your security guard hacked or deactivated.

Keep working hard and trying to outrun automation you fucking dorks. I’ll be sitting in my Herman miller aeron chair

How is Walden Security? They have decently good pay here for armed guards. Just didn't want to sign up for something dangerous when I already make nearly as much doing something else with no real danger.

congrats on your few dollars above minimum wage. This job is only cool if you work overnight and sleep the whole shift

Can’t say man, allied, Securitas,
And gardaworld are the big 3, I only have experience with them.

Gonna sound like an absolutely worthless pos but if you have to stand for 8 hours (which you will most likely have to do at an armed position), that fact alone makes it not worth it.

People severely underestimate how shitty it is to stand continuously for 8 hours. You’d be better off trying to move up to supervisor or account manager >>62558554

I didn’t hear anybody refute my claim that it can’t be automated.
>a few dollars above minimum wage
Any wage is acceptable if you’re a single guy without a family. I make 3k after taxes and I only spend about 1500/mo total.

Robocop already take your job and they are 24/7 operate to guard the house.

if flock and palantir are doing their jobs like china does, police won't even be needed since cameras can track anyone's movements, you are just a ceremonial company jester meant to make normies feel safe

It's actually Hairdressing that is the one and only immune job to AI. Staceys will have the last laugh.

Every human grows hair nonstop and it's the one thing we all share in that regard that needs to be maintained, and a human can't easily do it themselves.
A robot also cannot do it because it requires cutting individual hairs at it's most detailed, and sharp implements near your neck/eyes/temple to do the work. No one will ever trust a robot with doing this and even if such a robot could do it, it'd be an incredibly cookie cutter head mold situation that gives you a retarded bowl cut that would be anti individuality, literally no one would do this.

To get a robot to cut hair, to fold it and work on it like a human requires human fingers to do it. Soft but firm, dextrous, limber, agile and capable of precise work. To automate this job would mean you have literally recreated humans 1:1 as artificial entities which would mean humanity no longer exists anyway.

The other great part, is Hairdressing can be easily paid cash in hand without the taxman ever knowing about it.
Having a hairdressing wife/girlfriend is an income hack. It is literally a money printer, you can have people come to your house, pay you to have their hair cut and spend said cash on the goods you need without the bank ever knowing about it.

t. opened a hairdressing studio in garage for my wife which paid off the mortgage before we were 30 while everyone was wasting time on farming crypto, we were farming boomer haircuts 60 dollars a pop every 40 minutes

Nigga, security could be one of the easiest jobs to automate since you're never really supposed to engage any threats. A robot would actually be much better than a human here.

I don’t like hearing about how dudes have wives. The only way for me to get pussy since graduating college is paying poor brown women to service my 6 inch pecker
>>
>>62558532
You're acting like the Big 3 aren't having their own meetings on how to automate
>>
>>62559899
I don't have a wife, but I have a young pale big assed brunette gf that sits on my face and lets me sniff her asshole whenever I want
>>
>>62558532
Anyone who says "my job will never be automated" is going to lose their job to a robot in the next 10 years.

They can’t automate the godamn Guarda you retard. They can automate all the worthless dogshit that the account managers and security operations shit, but not the actual guards and I’m standing pat.
>>
>>62560151
You fail to understand security operations isn't exactly thrilled to be paying you gate attendants roughly $30k/yr to sit on their asses and watch Netflix all day. They know you know the labor/risk:pay/reward ratio is pretty fuckin sweet

I'm going tomorrow morning enroll to get certified as Personal Security Agent (that’s the official name for guarda) and I think it’s both a good coincidence and fucking hilarious that I found your thread.
I used to be a gunsmith but in no-gun Europa, nobody can afford handmade guns nor are willing to lend me money so I can start my business, so I choose to get a job that can lend me a place anywhere I go and from what I read until now, I'm in the right path.
I also have a Steam Deck loaded with games so I hope I can get nightshift and finally being paid for my insomnia.
>>
Just FYI, working night shift fucks up your circadian rhythms and that is really bad for your health long-term. No, sleeping during the day doesn't fix the problem.
