It doesn't make any sense.I have a nice chunk of money on the side that I've been wanting to throw in an index fund that tracks the DOW, but I'm waiting for the market to crash.I just KNOW the market is going to crash, BUT IT KEEPS FUCKING GOING UP!The fund was like $22.63 per share when I first decided I was going to jump in but felt a crash was coming.Now it's like $27.20 a share.This doesn't make any sense.Why doesn't it go down so I can buy in low and then sell when it recovers?

I base this off the observation that even the shit tier metrics like US seasonally adjusted M2 had a pretty hefty jump upwards m/m on the last print.
