I lost 70% of my money in July thanks to being levered up in semiconductors. Now no matter how hard I try there is no way to recuperate my ATH before semi stocks get back to their ATHs. I would basically need to buy 20% OTM weekly calls on BAKA and be exactly right to recover the money I lost, and in the event I was wrong I would just go to zero. This is a risk I csn't stomach. So instead I am doomed to hold common stock in a bunch of random ai stocks and when they all go up 50% back to their highs my port will also go up 50% but that will just mean I am now down 50% from my own port highs instead of 70%. I don't know how to cope with this underperformance. But I also don't know how to cope with losing the rest of my money (which I have to risk if I wanted to recover my old ATH). Also, my old ATH was a number I could have retired on at a 3% SWR forevermore. With my current port value, I cannot, the money would be gone in 10-15 years.I cannot believe I didn't sell at the end of june after 3xing my net worth in 3 months. I will always regret this. I think I was just not meant to make it, but the demiurge though it would be funny to make me think I could before snatching it away from me.
