Japan bought a payment plan from the US, if they want their money back they have to sell it on the open market and if they keep selling they will drive down the prices of future payment plan sales which increases the effective yield on these plans which sets the bar for the rest of the market on how much yield everything else should have.
It's the yen shit and news that Korea hedged the yen shit with central bank gold buying, which is not normal for them.It's been 13 years since Korea bought so it's not something that was priced in.
