Housing up here is very cheap and there is lots of outdoor activities to do that cost very little money. I paid 15k for 10 acres of property (in 2021) with a view of one of the great lakes. My pension at my blue collar job is backed by government bonds, and my 600 sq ft offgrid home cost me 150k to have a contractor build (it's on a unfinished walk-out basement). That's a brand new off grid house for 165k my job pays 90k a year so I'm not even worried about mortgage costs cuz I'm gonna have my house paid off in 4 years away. Living in big cities is for browns and losers. I don't want to see a bunch of fent addicted bozos on my street. I don't want to see my kids school classroom be 90% brownoids.
